I scheduled an appointment online because my bathtub in my 1922 house wouldn't drain. The plumber showed up very quickly (faster than I would have anticipated from the quoted time online) which was fantastic. He was very professional, diagnosed quickly, and the final cost was very close to the free estimate. He gave me options of what to do (could have removed shower surround-which means I have to install new dry wall and tile or could go through the ceiling with a small hole-much easier to repair and less costly). The bathtub drains like new now-first time that has happened since we've lived here. Great to know I have a reliable and trustworthy plumber in Indianapolis! more

I called about my bath tub not draining. The woman who answered my call was very nice and professional. She said someone could be at my house within the hour, and sure enough there was. The plumber who completed my service was very friendly and went above and beyond to take a look at another pipe for me for recommendations. The issue was fixed, which just about any other Indianapolis company could have done, but I doubt we would have received the same level of customer service. more

Called Roto Rooter because our kitchen drain decided to back up, not drain. Mike came on the holiday weekend and was able to clear out the clog. Very personable and friendly. Totally pleased with the job Mike did. Highly recommended and I would use them again!!! more

My kitchen sink was clogged, and I needed a plumber, I live just outside Indianapolis. I called Roto Rooter, thats who my mom uses. A plumber was at my house within 1 hour of my phone call. A nice, respectful technician unclogged my drain very quickly. Didn't have to pay a service call. Another plumber I called wanted to charge me $30 just to come to my house! I have a friend who is a plumber and he doesn't return calls and it can take months for him to show up. Then he shows up all muddy and drinks all the beer in the fridge and only finishes half the job. This time I called Roto-Rooter and they had Frank, Btech 86, there immediately even though it was after 5pm. He was neat and clean. He fixed the clog in a snap. Yea! Had water backing up into the basement. We tried to resolve it ourselves at first, but no luck. The next morning called Roto-Rooter and they were there within the hour. It was a pretty bad blockage and we didn't have a clean out, but Kenneth worked diligently and finally managed to get the giant root ball pulled out. They followed up with a camera to scope the line to make sure there was no damage to the pipes. They kept me informed every step of the way and were really great to work with. I had a major sewer block for about a week and I called another company to finally come and fix it. Well, they kept me waiting from 1-4pm and when I finally called they came up with an excuse and left me stranded. I immediately pulled out the Yellow Pages and called Roto-Rooter and they were at my house within the hour. Frank, the Roto-Rooter guy, came in and assured me he would get me up and running or I wouldn't pay. Well, he was there from 6-11pm and, hurrah- he got me up and running as promised. Seriously, if you need your plumbing problems fixed, don't waste your time with these other companies that can't bother to pick up their phone once 5pm hits......as the jingle says: Call Roto0Rooter. They definately get five stars from me and I don't take service lightly, having worked in customer service for over 25 years. My water heater had gone out due to a leak in my roof. I had been without hot water for over a month. As a single mom, I did not have the funds to get it fixed right away. So I saved until I had enough to go buy one and pay for someone to put it in and haul the old one away. But, all that changed when I got the approval from the roofing company to cover the unit, but not installation, even though it was damaged by a roofing leak. Well, I had taken off Friday 4/1/11 to spend time with my oldest son on spring break, but decided to make a few calls for a new heater. I must say, I was very surprised when I got the follow-up call immediately from Roto Rooter to have someone come out and take a look, within the hour they were there, within the next hour the technician (Steve Hess) was on whis way to making sure I had hot water that day. What a phenominal technition. He was thorough, respectful, trusting, and was willing to work with a single mom on the cost of labor. He answered all my questions and even recommended clean up behind the heater. He confirmed that the water heater being moved was damaged by water, and showed me the standing water in the top of the water heater with the connectors. We had to call Roto-Rooter on a Sunday because our sewer line was backing up every time we did a load of laundry. The plumber arrived promply and cleaned out the line. This is the third or fourth time over the years that we have used Roto-Rooter and each time the service has been great. more

We called to schedule a appointment for Tuesday and a Plumer named David #168-1096 arrived right on time from Indianapolis, Indiana. He told us the problem and cleaned out the drain from tree roots. he also stated that anther person would be out on Thursday to look at the drain with a cammera. That also took place just like we were told. more

I was very impressed by the speed that Roto-Rooter acted on my call. Within 1 hr a technician showed up and in less than 45 minutes the problem was solved. The Technician, Dave, was courteous and very helpful. He even pointed out a couple of things that I could do to help prevent a recurrence of the problem. more
