We had a serious plumbing issue - with a house full of guests and the roto-rooter service person was there within the timeframe mentioned and was very quick at solving our problem...

cesspool 1/16/2011

With 18 inches of snow on the ground the last thing yo want is for the cesspool to need to be pumped out. As luck would have it that's what happened for us. We called and we scheduled the appointment so that we would have enough time to dig out the snow and find the cover. Daryl came a day early and was very polite. He took care of business and was informative in the entire process. He told us what we could do to extend the time of use of our cesspool before replacing it. Not a fun way to start the new year but he truly made this easier for us. Thanks! more

roto-rooter saves my monday 1/14/2011

After sendind my mother -in-law to her other daughters house because of a backup at my house i went out and purchased a snake and some drain clogger after thinking i solved the problem i sat back and enjoyed wildcard weekend. told my wife it was ok to take a shower@9:30 pm and saw water coming out the exhaust out back. called RR expecting to wait till monday but the operator said he could have someone there by 10:30pm.John showed up a few min. early and snaked out thru the vent a clog 35 feet out.HALLALUYA more

They were supposed to come from 11-1 but called at 5 minutes to 1pm and showed up about 1:30. Other than being later than expected, the technichian was fast, efficient and very nice. They got the job done. If you need a plumber, call these guys from Jamaica NY! more

Fast courteous service. The plumber was very professional and explained everything to me. He also explained the paperwork to me. My drains are now working smoothly. The plumber also showed up in less than an hour and did not leave a mess. more

On Saturday 12/11/10 me, my wife, my children and my grand children went to Great Grandma's house to help decorate for Christmas. On arrival we found her to be in a state of panic as her toilet was clogged and backing up. We contacted Roto-Rooter and asked for a plumber to be sent to our location in Suffolk County which is quite a distance from Queens, NY. Within a few hours Roto-Rooter showed up and diligently worked on the problem for almost 2 hours and freed the lines up. The service man even arranged for a follow up camera tech to come back and find out what the cause was. I guess you can say Roto Rooter was the plumber that saved Christmas. more

Hard job made easy! Roto-Rooter Plumbers 12/10/10 12/12/2010

I called Roto-Rooter after running into problems with a kithen faucet. I bought what I thought was the correct faucet ,but It was the wrong one for my 50 year old sink. I was unable to get the old faucet off the sink base and had dripping water lines and I was out of patience. Roto-Rooter came in less then one hour. Josh said the faucet I bought would'nt fit my old sink, but he had a nice one in his truck. He removed the old fixture and installed the new one for not a penney more the he quoted me. Roto-Rooter has never let me down after five different trips. more

I had 2 jobs done this day....line cleaning and subsequently 2 tanks pumped. Peter did the line cleaning and was extremely professional and provided a great education including maintenance a homeowner should be performing. Martin Shea subsequently found our 2nd tank, pumped both and explained in detail the job. Both gents are a great assed to roto-rooter! more

I was extremely happy with the service they provided. I called about 7 oclock at night and there was a guy at my door within 45min. He had my blocked sewer line flowing within 5 min of starting. He was very informative and I felt that I made a good choice when picking a company out of the yellowpages. Highly recomend and will definitely use again if needed. more

Roto-Rooter plumber from Queens NY did excellent job in repairing broken swage pipes under our home. There were two appointments and workers showed promptly each time. Estimate have been done quickly and efficiently. Repair required long hours and both serviceman kept at it beyond normal working hours, until it was done properly. Price was steep but job was huge too. Very satisfied with work done and professional attitude. more

Hire them. 11/22/2010

I have hired Roto-Rooter a number of times to do plumming related work around my house. They are always professional, on time and complete the work right the first time. They have never had to come back. They offer a garrantee 6mos to a year depending on the job. They are not cheap but not much more than someone found in the Pennysaver. There was one time I had a leak in the laundry area and the Tech just had to tighten something. He explained what needed to be done so I could fix it myself next time. He started to walk out I said how much he said no charge. I believe they are the largest plumming company in the county now. Hire them you won't be disappointed. more

Sewer trap unclog 11/10/2010

I had my sewer line clog and called Roto-Rooter to fix the clog. With in one hour they were there to fix the clog. There Tech Joshua was professional and had the sewer unclog in less then a hour. I will use roto-rooter again. more

The Honest Plumbers 11/9/2010

After coming home on Saturday 11/06 after a 12 hour shift at work my shower had no hot water. After calling countless plumbers who wanted anything from $125.00 to $250.00 just to come over and diagnos the problem and as a single mom on a tight budget I finally called Roto-Rooter. The woman on the phone assured me there were no hidden costs and they could have someone at my home within the hour, I agreed. Josh was at my home 40 mon later. The cartridge in my shower needed to be replaced, Josh explained to me that the part is an expensive. After seeing my worry he asked for a day to see what he could find. Josh called me on Sunday he tpld me he found the part for less then half of what the local vendors had it for. He told me he could have it by the next day Monday. Sure enough Monday Josh was at my home part in hand, he worked quickly and clean. The bill was $175.00 less then originally thought because Josh took his time to shop around for me, THANK YOU JOSH!!!!!! You Rock. I know who I will be calling from now on for any and all of my plumbing problems, the honest plumbers ROTO-ROOTER.. more

Excellent plumbing service 11/6/2010

We had to make an emergency call to a plumber Nov. 3 after our upstairs toilet overflowed, sending water pouring all over the bathroom floor, as well as through the light sockets in our downstairs bathroom underneath it... We opted on Roto-Rooter after a bad experience with a rival plumber in the area. A plumber, Marc, arrived quickly -- especially considering that the call was made at night. Within an hour, our problem was resolved and he was on his way. The toilet was working fine and the flooding was stopped. The toilet stopped flushing the next morning after multiple uses, possibly after being over-stuffed by one of our kids, but we phoned Roto-Rooter again and another plumber quickly came out and fixed that issue. Unlike other plumbers who would have charged us again, Roto-Rooter stood behind its work and the six month guarantee it promised, and charged us no additional fee. The work was also reasonably priced. more

Rotor-rooter Plumbers November 4, 2010 11/4/2010

Emergency plumbing situations rarely turn out to be a pleasant experience, but this one did. Josh #348 showed up right on time as promised. He even called before he came to let us know he was on the way. He arrived at 11 PM (ish) and immediately impressed us as someone who was going to make this as pleasant an experience as possible. He was very personable, knowledgeable, thorough and helpful. He worked dliegently, quickly, thoroughly and was very neat as well. He did not wrap up until he was certain that all was in good shape and then helped us to understand what we could do to prevent problems in the future. Josh is an extremely capable service person, a good Company man, and very personable. more

The water in the cistern was constantly leaking in my toilet bowl. I called the Roto Rooter plumber in Jamaica NY and the technician promptly arrived at my house. He quickly figured out the problem and fixed it! So far, the leaking has stopped and the problem seemed to be fixed. Thanks to Roto Rooter Plumber! more
