Roto-Rooter Plumbers 3-7-2011 3/9/2011

I am writing this note because my mom does not have a computer and she asked me to do it for her. On Monday March 7, 2011 we went down the cellar to find out that we had at least 3"" of water. Investigating the water in the cellar we found that the sewer had also clogged up and backed up in the cellar. We looked in the yellow pages and found Roto-Rooter. We call and made an appointment for the Plumber from the Hartford area to come to the house and unclog the sewer. The office gave us a window for ETA about 4 hours which would bring the plumber in at about 8:30 PM. In the meant time we used the wet vac and sucked up a lot of water. The plumber which was from Hartford area arrived at 8:20 pm. The plumber did a great job, he was easy to talk to and he explained everything he was going to do, and quoted me a price and he stuck with it. If ever I need another plumber I would call Roto-Rooter plumbers in the Hartford area. more

On Feb. 15th, Burim (#36-1750) from the Hartford Roto-Rooter location fixed plumbing problems in both of my toilets, after explaining what was wrong and how he would be able to fix the problems. I expecially appreciate the clarity of his explanations because English is not his first, and probably not even his second, language! more

Great job will do business again if needed 1/25/2011

I tried to fix the problem myself but didnt have any luck, i called roto-rooter in hartford and Mr. Eddie Ruiz #792 came to my home on time and fixed the problem. he was very professional and quick and explained in detail what the problem was and how to maintain my toliet after he fixed it. more

As good as it gets! Prompt, efficient, courteous service. These are real professionals. The plumber came and solved a serious drain problem that would have been exacerbated by the freezing wet weather. And he solved it! I know who to call next time. more

Roto Rooter solves my problem 1/20/2011

Prompt, effective, and attentive service. They definitely get the job done. The plumber, Luis, snaked out a clogged rain drain. It was cold, getting toward the end of the work day, and he was professional and took the necessary time he needed to do the job. If I need Roto-Rooter, I'll ask for Luis. more

I scheduled my appointment online and it was very easy and immediately got a confirmation. I received a phone call the morning of the appointment and was informed that the plumber would be arriving later than expected but that they would call me when he was on his way from Hartford. Even though he missed his second e.t.a., he was very efficient and professional. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to friends/family. more

I had a leak under my sink that I discovered right before I was due to head out to work in the morning. My wife called and the Hartford service technician was there within 30 minutes. The plumber service was performed, he replaced a shut off valve and the hose connector, and and I am very satisfied. more

Plumber Hartford \r The service person was nice and personable. He handled the job in a short amount of time and was off. He came within the period of time specified. I would have liked the service to be cheaper but all in all - what can you do when your toilet is clogged! The job was done quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. more

Good service, WAY OVER PRICED 11/30/2010

They were extremely friendly, professional and expedient. They were at my apartment in less than 30 mins. Unfortunately, the work that was required took less than 30 seconds (I'm not kidding!) and I was charged a standard fee of $326.00. I appreciate their work and professionalism, but I do feel like I was taken advantage of. \r *Minor annoyance of their phone answering script "How may I provide you with excellent service today!?" Really obnoxious and clearly fake. more

Great experience 11/30/2010

My parents had a flood in their basement and we needed a plumber fast. We called Roto-Rooter and 2 gentlemen showed up from the Hartford CT branch. They saw that the subpump was at the end of it's life, explained that it needed to be replaced (with a better quality brand) and gave us a breakdown of the cost before they did anything. The subpump was replaced within 20 minutes and they were out the door in under an hour. They were also very professional and honest. Thanks Steve and Eric!! more

Good Experience 11/18/2010

We had a great experience with Roto-Rooter. They came right out the next morning and not only fixed our problem but gave us insight into what any future complications may be. I would definitely use Roto-Rooter again as everything went better than we could have expected - as far as having a plumbing problem fixed can go. more

Roto Rooter (job well done) 10/25/2010

Oct. 19, called Roto Rooter and is was short time later that Tech 963 (Tom) came out to our house and helped us with our plumbing problem. He knew what he was doing and was polite.\r What we were impressed with is the fact that there was someone at the other end of the phone when we called and there was someone at the house within an hour. This after spending too much time talking into answering machines at other plumbers homes. To make a long story short, it is just nice that someone realizes that water is nothing to fool around with and I like the fact that it was taking care of in a professional matter. Keep up the good work. more

We called Roto-Rooter last night for an emergency service call once again they showed up when they said they would looked at the Drain then started working on freeing the blockage from the kitchen sink drain. Shawn and his helper worked very hard and fixed the blockage just like they said they would, then cleaned up and made it look like we never even had a problem. I was very pleased with thomas the tech (#36-1160) from Hartford. He took the time to explain what the problem was and what he planned to do to fix it. It was nice knowing his goal was to stay untill the problem was fixed. our problem was roots from an old tree in the yard that was blooking the pipe, he even showed us the roots. he took the time to explain what the cost was to replace the pipe if we dediced to do so. more
