Once again, an amazing service call from roto-rooter. We had a toilet that would not stop running, and although we tried to replace the kit in the tank ourselves, we could not get it to properly connect (and we had friends come and help,too). However, once we called roto-rooter, the problem was fixed inn a jiffy. Still cost a bit of money, but we were just glad to stop the constantly running water. Plus, he tipped us off how to clean the rust that had built-up from the running water. more

Great Job...Thanks!!! 7/25/2010

We had a broken sewer pipe and I'm very glad I called Roto-Rooter. Eddie Ruiz not only identified the problem almost immediately, he also organized the entire process so it could all be completed in one day. He contacted the town DPW, the town inspector, Call Before You Dig, the excavating company and the clean-up company as well. Really amazing. I think my regular plumber would have been much less organized...I'm lucky he was not able to come out the same day I called...Roto-Rooter got it done in one day.\r \r Jay Policow more

I called with a flooded cellar on July 5, 2010 hoping for a visit on the 6th. The operator stated a plumber will be there within the hour. 20 minutes later she called to say he'd be 20 minutes late due to his prior job. I was in no hurry and going nowhere. \r When he arrived he introduced himself as Mike,was\r professional, helpful & concerned. He quickly determined I had a clogged sewer drain, quoted the price and got to work. It was a mess that took several hours to snake tree roots out of my drain. He also inserted a camera snake into the drain and I was able to see the clog along with all the structural problems within the 105 year old system. He then took the time to estimate the pipe repair and offered some insurance tips that may help in the cost. I was also unaware that Roto-Rooter offered more plumbing services than just unclogging pipes. \r If I may, I'd like to comment on my technician Michael Schilling # 1905. Steve F. came out to assist me with plumbing problem. He came out to help with the washing machine on June 19, 2010 then he helped me again with getting the sewage pipe in my yard taken care of on June 25, 2010. I was really impressed with Steve?s customer service. It?s been very stressful being a new homeowner and having these situations arise and Steve was so pleasant. He was very detailed in explaining to me what needed to be repaired and how to keep my plumbing in good shape. I was really impressed when he said ?I treat every customer as though I would treat my own family member?. This level of care was shown in the amount of attention to detail he put into his work. Steve is very professional and pleasant in his demeanor. His response to the problem was immediate and the issues I was having were resolved within a matter of a few hours. I find Roto-Rooter and their staff to be the best plumbing and drain service in Hartford County. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers June 25, 2010 7/11/2010

I had a serious situation that arose with my toilets over flowing and came to realize after Mike?s assessment that some serious work needed to be done on the sewage pipes. He was very warm and professional in his demeanor with a good sense of humor which helped to lighten a very stressful situation. He was here from about 1:00am to 5:00am and back again at 8:00am the same morning to help coordinate the sewage problem with Steve F. the other plumber. The problems I was having were completely resolved in less than 24 hours. In both instances that I used the company Roto-Rooter their response was immediate and efficient regardless of what time of day I called. It is because of this that I find Roto-Rooter the best plumbing and drain service in Hartford County and highly recommend them. more

When our water pressure regulating switch had gone bad, Steve F. was punctual and efficient. He offered insights and gave me a quote prior to any work. He explained what he was doing while he was doing it. He cleaned his work area spotless. When I have other plumbing work, I plan to call him. I recommend him highly. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 6/19/10 7/1/2010

I experienced a problem with tree roots clogging the main sewer pipe to the street in multiple spots. This location of the Roto-Rooter Service was very helpful and professional. On a Saturday emergency service call they had a truck and a technician out to the house in about an hour. Michael S. was extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered my questions and provided me with options. He worked diligently to overcome the problem and provided me with feedback every step of the way. Though I have used other Roto-Rooter locations in the distant past, I felt that the service and thoroughness with which this particular location and this technician addressed the problem was in every way exceptional and beyond my expectations. In addition, I think the value provided for the money ($572) was very good as well. I intend to call this location directly should I someday need service again in the future. Thank you for a job well done! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 6-19-10 6/19/2010

I started what I thought would be a fairly easy project to replace my outdoor faucet. Needless to say I was unable to complete the project. I called Roto-Rooter Hartford and Steve was at my house within an hour. He was efficient skilled and kind enough not to laugh at my attempt. Within an hour he had corrected my mistakes fixed what needed to be fixed and I once again had an outside faucet. I will recommend this service to anyone who askes me if I know a good plumber. more

Roto-Rooter Review 6/17/2010

I called your plumber from the Hartford office to unclog my septic drain. Although the dispatcher promised service within one hour, the plumber arrived almost two hours later. He did a thorough job inspecting the septic and drain system. He advised me on the service and cost and proceeded to unclog the drain pipe. The service worked and our system is now flowing freely. He advised us on the cause of the stoppage and supplied a quote for a repair. He was courteous and efficient. Costs were as estimated. more

Called Roto-Rooter plumbers in Hartford right after Memorial Day for replacement of bathroom faucets. The guy on the phone said someone would be there within 1 hour and give a free estimate. The estimate turned out to be very reasonable (I called a few places). So I let him proceed right away and he was polite and professional. The job was perfectly. Everything got completed within several hours after my call. The experience can't be any better. more
