Our favorite pizza in the triangle area! The sauce is perfect. Tangy, a lil bit of sweet and good herbs and spice in it. Crust is that wonderful style of thin crust that reminds me of my favorite places from my years growing up in North Chicago/Evanston. So happy to have found this place. We have been back twice in the past week. more

I've eaten at Rosati's several times and their food is really good. I've lived in Chicago, and the deep dish pizza is delicious and authentic. The thin crust is really good as well, and the salads are fresh. The Italian beef sandwich is not quite as good at my all-time favorite from Chicago, Portillo's; however, they are hard to beat. The beef sandwich was tender and flavorful, though, and I would get it again. The cheesecake is made on premises and is fabulous. They sometimes run out, so ask when you get there and order it early! I haven't been in a little while, so have not experienced any heat issues, but I'm sure they will get it resolved as soon as they can. I have found the owners and other staff to be quite friendly as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. more

Rosati's ....How about investing in some conditioning equipment? I felt like I was banished to an evening dining in hell. The wait for our pizza was excruciating and the service was ambivalent. Save your money, and perspiration. Papa Johns is twice as good and they actually care about service and customer experience. more

Sweat Lodge 9/4/2011

Enjoy sweating your butt of while waiting for and eating your meal; then Rosati's is for you. The building was obviously not designed to accommodate pizza ovens. As a result you will be forced to endure a 30 minute sauna while waiting for your meal. The food is actually pretty good, if you can endure the taste of your own sweat pouring into your mouth while waiting for it. We are done with Rosati's. We refuse to endure the sweatbox torture, so at a later time, we had asked to use a ""dine in"" coupon for what essentially would be carry out service. And were denied, even though the server and manager acknowledged the problem with the temperature. Don't bother with this pizza place, they do not share the same heart and soul as the original Rosati's of Chicago. We a have call into Rick Rosati the franchise owner, warning him how the Rosati''s name is being tarnished in Carolina! more

My husband & I both got sick to our stomachs! DON'T go here 1/19/2011

My husband and I spent the entire night in the bathroom at home getting sick to our stomachs after eating here. It was horrible. The pizza did not taste good at all (very disappointing taste) and was quite expensive, so we initially chalked this place off the list as not worth it. Little did we realize we would be both sick to our stomachs all evening thanks to Rosati's! Would recommend staying far, far away from Rosati's. My husband feels sick when I even mention the name now after the nasty experience we had. more

Amazing Pizza (Delivery) 1/15/2011

My neighbor introduced me to Rosati's one night-- it is her favorite delivery place... and now it's mine too!!! I just ordered pizza from them for the fourth time this month. Seriously... it's THAT good. I love the deep dish (pepperoni with ground beef- sounds weird... but it is awesome). My daughter likes the thin crust (which was a huge hit with her pre-teen friends last time she had a group of girls to the house). In addition to being tasty... the delivery is prompt (it takes a little longer for deep dish- but they give you an estimate and stick to it!). I've been able to find online coupons for free delivery :) And they have coupons on their pizza boxes that you collect in order to get free pizza. I like saving $-- especially on something I'd pay full price for anyway. Enjoy!!! more

closest to Chicago pizza in quite awhile 8/21/2010

ignore that first review, it can only be from a competitor. Still stalking the perfect imitation of Gino's East or Due's pizza, we try most places who boast "Chicago style deep dish." Rosati's comes very close - just needs a little more crunch and less bread-ness to the crust, plus there should be no cheese visible from the top. So, through in more corn meal and top with more tomatoes. Really tasty, veggies crisp and fresh. That's all we ordered, but I will definitely be back for the mostaciolli, which I have NEVER seen on a menu in my 20 years here (granted I don't get out a whole lot). Excellent service, very clean. more

Save your money! 7/4/2010

My wife and I recently tried Rosati's in Morrisville on one of our few nights out (we have a new baby). Although my wife's meal of ribs and fries was ok, my salad consisted of mainly lettuce and cheese. When I ordered the ""monster"" salad, as the menu dubs it, I was thinking it would be full of the promised pepperoni and veggies. However, I had about four pieces of pepperoni, three cucumber slices, and a piece of tomato... plenty of lettuce and feta though! Pros: Polite Server Cons: Rude Owner/Manager more

When asked how the meal was, I expressed my concerns with my server and the manager (who could possibly have been the owner). My server was very polite, but the manager was extremely rude. All he said was "okay" when I explained that I felt a salad called the monster should be more than just lettuce! Needless to say, my wife and I will not be visiting Rosati's again. If you are someone who only eats out as a treat, please go somewhere else where you will be more satisfied. Pros: Polite Server Cons: Rude Owner/Manager more

I Don't Have to Move Back To Chicago Now! 5/15/2010

When I first saw Rosati's was going to open in Morrisville, I doubted it would taste as good as the restaurants back home in Chicagoland Oh how delightfully wrong I was! The pizza is absolutely wonderful -a tasty thin and crispy crust, fresh toppings, sweet and light sauce, amazing cheese and a hint of oregano. The italian beef sandwiches are just like my Dad makes back home, seasoned and sliced to perfection. The service at the front counter was a little young and undertrained in customer service skills the first time we went in, but that seemed to improve the second time we ordered. There are plenty of New York style pizza places in RDU, it's about time someone opened a Chicago-style restaurant and actually understands how the food is supposed to taste. I can't wait until the next time we eat Rosati's! Pros: Outstanding food, authentic Chicago style sandwiches and piz more
