They have remodeled bathrooms 11/20/2013

Overall the hotel was ok. It's an old hotel but convenient because of location especially after a long day of walking. They have remodeled bathrooms. The beds are not the best and they only have 2 pillows each which really make one. I would stay there again and just bring extra pillows. The pool is nice and Water Park which hotel gives pass to was fun. more

Great location to Carlsbad Caverns. Gift shop, museum & grocery store across the street. Very large rooms with high ceilings. Flat screen TV's. Microwave & fridge came in handy. more

The location can't be beat 10/23/2013

The location can't be beat. The Rodeway is only 6 miles from the Carlsbad Caverns Visitors Center, definitely a lot closer than staying in Carlsbad City. There were some nice touches. The rooms are spacious and there are curtains that provide privacy while letting in some light, something you can't get at most motels. more

Way better than camping! 10/11/2013

Over the years we've stayed here this visit showed the most improvement. Bottom line: if you're looking for a resort hotel for $71 you'll be disappointed. All you get here is a safe, clean, no frills room with (lately) everything working a short drive from Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. There's gas, groceries, restaurant, t-shirts, games, most everything you want within 100 yards of the hotel. Way better than camping! more
