Our Children had a great time 11/3/2014

Our Children had a great time with the two water slides and pool area the room was very clean they gave us a cot for free and for a family of five we only paid 75.00 plus tax it is under new management. It was very close to the caverns so we did not have to travel so far to sleep. The lady that booked us she was very nice. more

I stayed here 10/23/2014

I stayed here for one night. It's definitely the closest place you can stay to the Caverns. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, check in and checks out. The rooms are huge!! We had a double bed room and there was still room for cartwheels! (If one were so inclined.) The beds were comfy and we had no problem staying warm. Breakfast in the AM was a carton of OJ or coffee and muffins. There was a fun looking small waterpark that looks like it'd be a blast in the summer. Definitely a good value for how remote of a location and proximity to the park. Stars at night at gorgeous, but you may have to drive out of the parking lot for a good view. more

I visited Carlsbad 10/17/2014

I visited Carlsbad Caverns with a friend early in Jan 2013, and we were planning an overnight stay there. I checked the prices online, and found that with a military discount, our room (2 queens) would cost us about $70.00. I didn't want to make the drive into Carlsbad after being on the road all day, and this was a reasonable price, so we made the reservation. i am so glad that we did because it was a very relaxing stay they were all so nice and friendly and very accommodating. more

It is good enough; the room is huge and CLEAN, though a little dated. We did not find any bugs, roaches, geckos, crocs, etc. The breakfast is small, still Ok for the start, you can eat more elsewhere. The staff is very friendly. There is a decent restaurant in town. If you are looking for a Ritzy hotel - drive 30-50 miles, and I am sure you will find the right one for you. But if you want to visit Carlsbad Caverns - Oh, they are so amazing!!! - No doubt, stay in THIS Hotel! more
