I've been searching for a Toyota Venza and they had the one I wanted for a fair market price. They gave me the fair market value for my trade in and we're great to work with. Adam is who I worked with and he was excellent. I have bought two vehicles from them now and will always go back. If you need a car I recommend them highly. more

I began a search for a 4x4 truck about a week before starting my interviews at Rocky Mountain. Stopped there because of proximity to my workplace and was met with a friendly smile and firm handshake of Jim Knigge. We toured through an inventory of small trucks they had. None of them was a good fit for various reasons. I was then showed a Ram 1500, a bit bigger than I had originally wanted, but the truck showed very good. Drove it, loved it, bought it, was taken through all the normal sales hoopla that goes on when buying a vehicle. Jim and I drove the truck to my house to pick up my wife so she could drive our car home, and when the deal was done, Jim followed to pick up check for purchase. Later that same night I looked around for photos to show my family and I ran across a website that listed the truck $2000 lower than my purchase price. I mentioned this to Jay Orlinger and a deal was made to cover that. The website is not one they use to advertise on, so he was surprised. With that fixed, four days later I was driving the truck and the power steering went out. To make this story shorter, RMAB has picked up the tab to repair that problem. As I was driving the truck to my mechanic to have him do some additonal mechanical checks it was discovered that both ball joints were worn out and the license plate lamp burned out. RMAB called me to verify all was okay with the truck, so I told them about the latest finds, and they agreed to pay all but $100 of this last fix. Mainly, I want to point out they have done this with no pressure from me. Differing from some of the other reviews on this site, I have found RMAB to be very cooperative in getting issues resolved and they have worked very hard to see that I was satisfied with the purchase.\r \r For sure when I am on the prowl for another vehicle I will stop at their doorstep first. more

We live in Highlands Ranch and have spent the past week visiting numerous dealers in the Denver area looking for a truck that met our needs. We also did a ton of research on-line and after seeing the selection at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers and speaking with Mick, we made the decision to drive the hour to Colorado Springs to see what they had to offer. We have to say the folks at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers (Mick, Jay, and Steve) made our car buying experience the best and friendliest experience we’ve EVER had with a car dealership. They worked with us to get us the vehicle we wanted all within our budget. I highly recommend that if you’re looking for a great car or truck, that you visit Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers and take a look at their lot…you won’t be disappointed.\r \r Thanks guys ! we’ll be back to see you when we’re ready to buy again…\r \r Rod and Tina Harris\r more

Pushy salesmen is the name of the game at this dealership. If one can't push you into the car they bring out another salesman who is much worse. I will never go back. more

Pretty awful experience from start to finish buying our used car. BEWARE and go elsewhere. Was told we had 48 hours from time of purchase to take to a mechanic. Did so, only to discover they had spray painted over RUST on the under carriage of the car. Was told any significant repairs over $500 they would take care of - also, we had the option to return the car and get our money back if it was within the 48 hour timeframe...\r \r Fast forward - they reneged on this and found loopholes for EVERYTHING - claiming that unless the problem was major mechanical (i.e. engine) over $500 they would not cover. Also, the 48 hour return policy was a joke, too. Now, I have to spend about $1,500 in repairs on a car out of pocket that they claim to have ""inspected"" - um - with SPRAY PAINT?! ok...moving on! Stay away - they are very dishonest and unethical. more

From start to finish..... 4/18/2012

My dealings with Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers have been nothing but positive. Our salesperson, Will, is knowledgeable, friendly and genuine in his concern for our needs. They gave me a great price on my old car and a wonderful price on my new vehicle. The finance director, Albert, was absolutely awesome. Our car-buying experience with Rocky Mountain has been quick and effective and has resulted in completely satisfied customers. I will recommend them again and again! more

Great Experience 3/30/2012

Great experience - In the age of the internet, I find it important that when you get to the dealer to see the car I found online that it be as good as it looked in the pictures. I shopped Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers online and when I went to see the car it was everything I had hoped for and was actually cleaner than I expected. Easy to deal with and I was in and out within 2 hours!!!!! I have never bought a car so quickly before. These guys have a great place and great people. Well done - Not you r stereotypical used car dealer here. They really know how to cater to the internet shopper. Adam in the internet department was great. more

EEEEEK! 2/24/2012

Unsure who we were dealing with (we can't seem to remember him introducing himself, other than to say he's a floor manager which means he can do just about anything he wants. Yes, he said that). He was slimy. He had no answers or knowledge about the price of the cars, fuel economy, engine size, etc. Every car was locked so even with him there we couldn't look inside. We were ready to buy today but not from this dealership. When he was asked about the fuel economy of a vehicle he was pushing (and pushing hard) by a member of my family (this family member wasn't buying, I was. He was just there to keep me from being taken advantage of), he didn't have the answer to the question. He then exploded! Screaming ""if you aren't buying a F***ing car, don't be asking f***ing questions"". He whirled around and STOMPED like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. Screaming and cursing the whole way back to the office, once inside he continued to scream, wave his arms, stomp his chubby little footies, and point at us. Yes, very professional. I expect NO one to know all the answers. A simple ""I'm not sure, let me find that information for you"" would have helped him sell us a vehicle. But throwing a little temper tantrum because his ignorance was pointed out too many times in a 15 minute period? Sad. I haven't bought my car yet but I will - just not from RMAB! more

Go somewhere else, their cheap for a reason 2/4/2012

Don't buy from Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers. They negotiated a price and then hit you with mandatory (but really optional or they wont sell you the car) fees in finance. They live up to all the stereotypes. Like being slick talkers, but nothing ever in writing. And you can never reach anyone. Then when you show up they run like cockroaches. When you to try to make things right they hit you with the tough luck you singed for it. The people I dealt with lied in one way or another. Be honest with your customers. If you want to keep customers treat them right and do not make them feel like idiots. I know good customer service, fair pricing, honest, and ethical behavior. Rocky Mountain should be ashamed, but I guess they just don't care. The worst part is you have the nerve to thank me for my service to this country only to take my money like I have not made sacrifices so you can be free. Lets be clear: 1. Unethical negotiation tactics - negotiated a total price, but then did not disclose mandatory (optional) add-ons. 2. Finance - Charge you fees on financing even if you have your own. 3. Customer service - when you try to contact them no one is ever there and don't hold your breath on them contacting you...They just keep passing the buck. more

Rough Experience, Great Prices 6/28/2011

I walked in wanting to spend around $11k. The first dealer kept calling me ""kid"" and ""son"". It was probably him being informal, but that comes across as disrespectful and demeaning. He was pressuring me and made it apparent how frustrated he was with me trying to spend my money wisely and buying hesitantly. The second car salesman went to go over finances with me while the first helped another customer, and he had PORNOGRAPHY up on his computer. He had horribly foul language. Every car he showed me seemed to be the ""best"" car for me. He rarely listened to what I said I wanted or needed. The next time I went in (after getting that last car totaled), that salesman was essentially making fun of my last purchase saying that wasn't a good car for me. Still the foul language and disrespecting me because I am younger (25). I must say that the prices couldn't be beat - best in town - and once I landed on a deal, they were great from then on. I'd be hesitant to buy from them again, but I'm always willing to give people second chances. more

Took advantage of a wounded warrior 12/10/2010

Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers took advantage of a wounded warrior. I lost my leg in combat, and I was given a grant from the VA to purchase a new vehicle. The finance department at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers assured me that they knew how the paper work worked. Obviously, they did not. I was denied the grant because they made me finance the car. (I know I am approved for the loan because I bought a different car from a different dealership recently.) But because they did not do the paperwork correctly, like they said they knew how to, I did not get the car. Also, after putting about 700 miles on the car, I took it to a dealership to have it serviced. That is when I found out that the car needed $5,000 worth of work done to it. They also told me that the service contract I purchased could not be cancelled. I called the company that the contract is through, and I am cancelling it in when the paperwork gets to my house. So the staff lied about that. I am sorry that the workers at Rocky Mountain Auto Brokers feel it is necessary to lie to customers and sell vehicles that are unsafe to be driven. Just like other dealerships, these people are out there to make a sale, and that’s it, they do not care about their customers. Oh, and if you have to reach management, good luck! No one is ever available and NO one returns phone calls. more
