My car was in an accident, so I brought it into the dealership for a quote. I was told that the quote is free. I decided to pull out the vehicle and not do the work there. All of a sudden there was a $125 bill to release my vehicle. I called ""customer relations"" and asked if there was a charge for a quote, without revealing who I was. She said no. After she confirmed that, I told her my story. All of a sudden she had an urgent call come in, and she had to put me on hold. (I didn't know that she doubled as a 911 operator.) She came back with a completely different story, and told me that everyone in the shop knows that there is a charge, so no one could have told me its free. I ended up paying the $125 so that I could get my vehicle released. By the way, I was an established customer at their shop. more

Purchased a Maxima in December their finance man sold me options not available for the car and then made me wait 6 months yes 6 months for a refund that I had to call every week for and was told another story each week "you didn't pay for that" "check was sent" " you were refunded" I was refunded the $ 600 but it took way to may requests heard way too many stories and flat out took too long \r Also, I now have a 6 month old car that idles rough been to service 4 times they don't feel it went to Nissan in Ramsey NJ and they ordered a part and it will be fixed this week \r STAY AWAY ... service in all ends is poor !! more

Service Center has worst customer service! 2/23/2012

There should be an option for 0 stars. This place used to be a joy to get your Nissan serviced but the last couple of times I have been, I have received nothing but a bad attitude. The customer service reps stand behind the counters and act like you are begging them to service your car instead of treating every paying customer with respect and courtesy. The last time I went, I spent several hundreds getting work done on my car and I got a bad attitude from the general manager. Today, I went in for a simple service and the guy acted as if the additional work he performed on my car (without any prior authorization) that he charged me for was him doing me a favor instead of violating business practice (if not the law). If Nissan decides to reinstate the automated surveys, I will gladly report Rockland Nissan for their bad customer service. The work they performed is fine but it comes at a cost....your sanity and respect. more

I've never been so badly disregarded as at Nissan Rockland 9/19/2011

My Husband and I came to Rockland Nissan after 2 weeks of bad experiences with car dealers so we figured close to home in Rockland, Nissan would be fair, efficient and just get the job done. I should have read the signs when one car I was looking at in their on line inventory was $11,888 and when Mae went back to it the second time the same car was now $14,888. But we were so burnt out that my husband went in and paid full retail price for this used sentra with our trade in. All he asked for was that the cracked lens be replaced. We had Ma. plates and was willing to handle the whole DMV thing himself. They told him they would handle it, that they had a dealership in Ma. They insisted doing it this way and took $300.00 for this service. This was on Thursday. Took the car to Ma. on Monday to have inspected,(3 hr drive). Our insurance agent called to say they didn't have the forms yet from the dealer. We call Fred and he doesn't have a clue to the type of form and is getting frustrated with us. Ma. needs an original and tries to in between for us while we sit in her office, so we can take the papers and get the car inspected. The Ma dealer part doesn't exsist and the paper s have to go back to Rockland and they wouldn't even cover the overnight cost. Its been 12 days the car is not registered, I can't tell you how many calls we've made without a call back just on this part. There's a whole other part of this disgraceful behavior. I called Tim The manager 3 times and then Larry twice after a promise he'd all me right back about the lens and asking for a 2nd key, floor mat, a manual and 2 oz. of touch up paint. Not one call back! What a shame, that this nasty thorn is still in our side. Totally disgraceful, unexceptable behavior. more
