Rockland M & M Moving and Trucking

I would highly recommend M&M Moving and Storage to anyone. Words cannot express how amazing my move went from Boston, MA to Spring Valley, NY. It was my first time moving and it exceeded my expectations. From the first call, their sales person Alex Davis was so helpful in providing information and suggestions in assuring me their company is the best one to work with and that it will be well worth the price. I cannot believe how easy it was to move with M&M Moving. Other companies were reachable via email and they had questionnaires to fill out and it was so impersonal! As for the day of the move, it was quick and painless. Steve, Keith and David were professional, efficient, patient, careful, nice and hardworking. They told me that M&M Moving and Storage is a great company to work for and you can see that in their work ethics, personality and customer relations. Olympus Movers even impressed all of my friends and roommates that they came into contact with! The guys showed my friends and roommates that were there to help me how great they were and how well they took care of my belongings/furniture’s. I was even able to make it to lunch on time with friends from out of town. Thought I would have to miss it because of the morning move. I definitely appreciate the fantastic and quality service I received from M&M Moving. A job well done! I am going to use M&M Moving and Storage to help me move across the country for my next move in a year or two. more

We moved with this company in December '10 to Salt Lake City. They were on time and ready to work. They secured my furniture very well with blankets and bubbly wrap and stuff like that. I especially liked those mattress covers that sealed my bed up. I tipped each guy about $20 for a good few hours worked. My estimate was for 450 cubes and when they loaded the truck we saw that it was only 350. All of the same items I had told Them about!!! So my Move went from $2400 down to $1950. One week late we flew out there we called the movers to let us know when the stuff would arrive. The next day the driver called us and said he would be by us in the morning. Every Item he unload was checked off by both of us as they arranged my house in order. Very honest, hard working and pleasant company to deal with Thank you M&M. more

We moved with this company in September. Over the course of the move the broke a chaise, 3 lamps, various kitchen dishes and crystal candle holders and managed to lose a whole box of kitchen items. We had paid them to pack and they clearly did a subpar job packing. The movers showed up 4 hours late, because the movers overslept. We had paid to have 3 men...during the "move-in" portion of the move, only 1 man was seen...we understand that 1 of the guys was watching the tuck, but the 3rd guy was completely MIA. Whenever we asked where he was, the one working mover told us he was bringing up the chaise - which should have taken 10 minutes or less. At the end of the move he appeared with the chaise. The next day I went to sit down on my chaise and fell to the ground...they had broken the chaise and then proped it next to the wall, so we would notice. I guess the second mover had been hiding downstairs so that we wouldn't notice that the chaise was broken. Thank god i didn't get hurt when I fell to the ground - I still can't believe these movers tried to trick us by propping the chaise up against the wall, creating a safety issue. The whole job was 50% over budget...and resulting in an additional 500 in damages. The company said to talk to their insurance company. However, it was been almost 4 months and their insurance company has done nothing despite our efforts. I think the insurance company is a scam. We have tried to talk to M&M about this but they are unresponsive. The simple intracity move was supposed to cost $1200-1400. We ended up paying them $2000 and have gotten nothing back for the $500 in damages. more

I have moved Quite a few time in my days and never have i had a smoother or easier move than with M & M Rockland Movers. They were kind and affordable and all my stuff arrived the same condition it left. 5 stars for these guys i will use them again and recommend anyone looking for a smooth and easy move more

These people are truely crooks. i highly suggest you do not deal with these people reguardless of what they tell you. everytime i speak with them they have a new policy about the same thing. their packers are also rude. the owner is extremely rude. they do not know how to treat customers and they will rip you off. they are privately owned so they do not have to answer to anyone and do whattever they want Pros: none ! Cons: everything u can imagine ! more

After years of still trying to get our damaged furniture fixed and to collect our claim check from them, I urge you NOT TO US THIS COMPANY!!! The people that say M and M was wonderful were lucky. I just wish we had been as lucky as them!! Please, be careful with this company, we just don't want you to have the MOVING NIGHTMARE that we had!! Good luck to you!! Pros: NONE! Cons: THEY DO NOT ABIDE BY THEIR CONTRACTS! more
