Reneaux Day Spa & Salon

I recently moved here from Texas and had to find a new salon. I searched online to find somewhere that would offer more than just hair services. I found Reneaux and I absolutely love it!! I got my hair highlighted and cut and must say my hairdresser is a doll. My hair looks fantastic!! I have yet to get a massage or a facial... although when I was leaving there was a couple in the lobby raving about their massages. I am definitely looking forward to trying out their other services. Great prices, wonderful work, and extremely friendly staff!!!! more

I am new to the area and purchased a Living Socials Deal to this establishment for a special treat for my birthday. From beginning to end all I can say is HORRIBLE...the owner especially!! When I called to set the appointment I was told that they were not honoring the deal I had already purchased because they had yet to receive payment. Finally after calling back to express my anger they agreed to honor it. I was quoted to expect to be there between 3-4 hours for all my services. 10 min before I was sceduled to arrive they called to say that my massage had been cancelled due to an ill employee. What they didn't say was that they would make me wait in their lobby for an hour and a half to fill that void. I was there for almost 7 hours (most spent in their lobby waiting). The owner helself gave me my mani/pedi (worst job ever- sloppy and painful) while she told me all about her personal life and problems which was at times akward and uncomfortable. There was blatent insubordination from one of her employees and many of them severely unprofessional. The aestician was a lovely woman , and did a great joband when I finally got my massage almost a month later, he was great as well, but unfortunately the receptionist Charla and the owner were horrible. They overcharged me money to upgrade my massage by telling me that the deal that I purchased barely covered the cost to pay their employees and they had to keep their "lights on" so the people that upgraded to a higher service from what the deal originally offered got charged more than the average guest. I went ahead and paid it because I was scared they would take it out of the tip I had left for my massage therapist because they definately lacked good business ethics. I was looking forward to getting a massage at Reneaux, I had heard from several people what wonderful therapists they have there. The massage was awesome, but the environment was HORRIBLE. Throughout the 1 hour I had all I could hear was the receptionist laughing and basically yelling at the front desk. I could hear the phone ringing and everytime she answered she had this very annoying voice. I was appalled by the blatant lack of professionalism in this place. A massagge is supposed to be a relaxing, peaceful experience and at Reneaux it is anything but. I could tell the massage therapist was uncomfortable with what was going on and he was professional to a tee, even with what I could hear. There was also a lot of commotion going on in the front lobby, clients, employees and whoever else decided to join the party. My main beef goes to the receptionist. I have been in a lot of places and I have never been so emabarressed for someone in my life. She was very nice, don't get me wrong but in my opinion she should be waiting tables somewhere not trying to run the front desk of a so-called upscale salon more

Reneaux Day Spa & Salon I just wanted to respond to a recent malicious entry regarding my mother, the owner of Reneaux Day Spa & Salon. My mother has been cutting and styling my hair my entire life and she is the ONLY person I trust with my locks. I know when she cuts my hair that it will be top notch. My mother has a passion for her profession and is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of the hair industry. I receive frequent compliments on the style and color of my hair and I give all the credit to my wonderful mother. It is a shame that there are websites that allow disgruntle past employees to slander good upstanding people in our community. I would like to give people who read reviews the benefit of the doubt and believe they take into consideration the comments at hand and their relevance. It is obvious to the Reneaux staff which past disgruntle employee has nothing better to do than try and deface an upstanding salon and spa. That is all they can do is TRY... Reneaux Day Spa & Salon's professional staff and services speak for themselves. I urge you to see for yourself what an amazing establishment Reneaux Day Spa & Salon truly is. Don't deny yourself the great services that Reneaux has to offer you just because of a lie. more

First, I would like to say Heather is AMAZING and really knows how to do a fantastic job at doing hair.The only reason I come to this salon is because of how wonderful Heather is. The owner,Deborah, on the other hand, has no customer service skills what so ever and is VERY rude!! She thinks she knows everything too so get ready to be talked to like you are dumb. When she is shapooing your hair the back of your shirt gets drenched, so bring an extra shirt if you plan on going somewhere after your appointment. She blames you for moving while she had the water on and thats why you are SOAKING wet. Next, she is always late or runnning behind schedule because she stands there and talks to you about her problems that NO ONE CARES about, which leads to your hair ending up uneven when she is done cutting it. Bottom line, if you make an appointment with Deborah, go on and make one after with Heather so she can even up and fix Deborah's many mistakes. more

I was initially impressed with this quaint little spa. It is so charming. The staff was lovely and Heather who did my hair, did a fantastic job. I also received a pedicure/manicure and Kristi was fabulous, they were very friendly and attentive. The downside, however, was the owner. She was abrasive, over-bearing and talked to me like she thought I was an idiot. While I was getting my feet done, I could hear her cackling and she was very loud and swore several times. I would go back there and would recommend for others to go , as long as the owner, I think her name was Debby wasn't there. She made my experience less than gratifying. Her staff, however was great and they actually took me on a tour and introduced me to the facial girl and I am booking a massage soon. Again, it's a great place except for the obnoxious owner. more

I am a frequent flier! I use all of the services and will book with whomever is available because they are all top notch. However, my favorite hairstylist is the owner, Deborah Linn. She is knowledgeable, professional, and extremely passionate about her profession. I am complimented daily on the style, color, and condition of my hair. I wouldn't go anywhere else- EVER!!! more

I had a hard time finding the place originally when calling the spa the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. I had the most amazing massage with Lucy! And I loved my Facial with Stephanie! And the final part of my visit was a manicure and pedicure Kristi did an incredible job!!! Cannot wait to go back! more

I love this place, consitantly great hair cuts, waxing by Carla is Awesome! Manis, and Pedis are great! I took my friend here for manis and pedis to celebrate her birthday. What a fantastic place to go! Reneaux was perfect. So enjoyable. We both got a very relaxing experience in a nice quiet setting. They did a great job on our manicures and pedicures. Not to mention this place is very affordable. High quality, great service, at a fantastic price. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a quick manicure or a full day of relaxation. Can't wait to go again! Pros: Relaxing, great staff more

My experience at Reneaux was by far the best I have had in ages. I had a full spa day, an hour massage which was exteremely relaxzing and a fabulous facial, plus a mani and pedi that I was that was so enjoyable I can't wait for my next one. The staff was incredibly professional and caring. Even though they were very busy, they made me feel as though i was the only one there. I will be returning to Reneaux as soon as I can. Also, they had lunch for me that was awesome!!! This place is off the beaten path but it truly is a diamond in the rough and definitly worth a try. You will not be dissappointed. more
