Let me tell you this place is absolutely wonderful. My husband is ase master tech and we get parts at a great price for his work.\r He CAN NOT do exhaust work at even his cost for parts. He can not beat their prices. Our own personal cars/trucks go there.\r Mechanics do excellent work, service impeccable and customer service is beyond no other.\r We took a car there that we believed had an exhaust issue. \r they called early in the morning, and let us know that they believed it wasn't exhaust gave us their professional opinion, they were absolutely correct.\r Picked up the car knowing we would have to pay a cost because of looking at it.\r NO bill, NO cost at all. \r The person complaining that their number was written down wrong, really you don't make mistakes?\r I would STRONGLY suggest using Red Run Exhaust, you would be pleasantly surprised. more

I am very particular on who touches my car and I give these guys a great review. Made me a 3"" downpipe and exhaust. I love it and the price was great too. more

I dont like to see ANY negative comments about this place, they are the most honest, down to earth folks you will EVER deal with, and their pricing exceeds fair. I drive all the way from Harrisburg to bring my cars here, and I also send folks from all over the tri county area. They usually have a two week waiting list but its worth the wait. They wont fix anything that doesnt need fixing and will tell you. If something goes wrong after the fact, they will back it up. If you want a custom exhaust, its best to make an appt and talk to the guys in person who are going to install so that you are all on the same page. HIGHLY recommended. more

We have used this place a few times, the first time when the shop was still in REd Run. Prices are fantastic and work is good. I know many people that take their cars here to get work done and they are very satisfied. I had thought my cat converter was bad, but it was not and they did not charge me, as some places would have. more

They installed duals on my Dodge Van around 7 years ago + gave me a great price so I had them install 2 1/2 exhaust on my Chevy van. more

I made an appointment two weeks ahead of time and gave my cell phone so they could reach me. Dropped my truck off the night before and put my key (with my cell number on it) in the key drop. By the middle of the next day I had not heard anything. I called Red Run and the lady said my truck was done. She told me they had tried to call me several times. I asked what number she had and found out she wrote down the wrong number! I didn't get the exhaust system I wanted and lady on the phone didn't care! more

This shop did a custom cat-back exhaust for a friend of mine and welded directly to the catalytic converter which any GOOD mechanic can tell you should not be done. After the check-engine light came on with a catalytic converter code (less than 24 hours later) they told him that it was nothing they had done and that the converter was just bad... which was not the case. They also welded the muffler on crooked and did not properly route the exhaust, it rattles and hits against the body of the car. Very poor workmanship and very poor customer service, a shop should own up to their mistakes and stand behind their work, they did not. more

I purchased my car used, and it came with a terribly loud can muffler... I literally couldn't talk on the phone at 60 mph! more

The ""big M"" in town estimated my repairs to be 700.00 to 1500.00 plus. An independant estimated 650.00 plus. Red Run's estimate was 167.00 and a 45 min wait. But I had to wait 3 weeks. Was it worth the wait? Total of the bill was 159.00 including tax and labor. Did it fix the problem? And some. While I was waiting I observed 6 walk-ins. They were handled with courtesy, professionalism, and intelligence. The bathroom and waiting area was spotless. As tight as money is today, finding a business that actually places it's customers needs as the first priorty of the day, was amazing. My heartfelt thanks to the Red Run staff. more

Have a daughter in college 4 hrs away. She has an old Honda - reliable, but things do happen. Exhaust & Cat. converter problems. She took it to a Honda dealer (understanding that probably would be the most expensive), and they confirmed the problems - est. $2500 to fix (and charged $98 to diagnose). Heard about Red Run. Called them on Thursday - they asked to have it on Monday and it would be finished by the end of the day (yeah right) - true to their word, both cat convr.& exhaust problems fixed - done by 5 and....... less than $450! (- labor cost was $50!) awesome! Pros: Unbelievable service more

I am in the auto business and have countless exhaust repairs done at Red Run. I have never been disapointed! The price is always unbeatable & the service is exeptional! more

I don't know why the 2 people leaving bad reviews did so, except either that nobody in the world can please them or they are really the local competitor. I have had 2 complete exhausts replaced for like $100 apiece, which is like less than half of a local Midas or other shop. The others wanted $278 for what I paid $100 for. They are courteous honest and forthright. I can't see how anybody got wronged by them.. They do good work...recommeded! Pros: Good Service Low Cost more

Was not able to get car inspected because of a leak so I stopped in. They fit me in the same day and did a wonderful job on my exhaust. I felt the price they charged me was very reasonable and was extremely happy with the service. Pros: Excellent service more

I just got home from their shop. Horrible service. I called yesterday to make an appt to have a muffler replaced. They told me I had to come in so they can look at my exhaust configuration even though I told them everything they'd need to know. I made an appointment and had to leave work early as they are only open until 5. I got there and they had no idea why I was there. 10 minutes after I got there they finally had me talk to one of their techs who sat and looked through catalogs for 20 minutes just to tell me everything I already knew. It was a huge waste of my time and I will not be doing business with them again. Cons: poor service more

Rattling from the exhaust on my car required a 10 minute quick-fix. A muffler hanger had come loose and required an adjustment (pretty minor). I was passing by Red Run so I popped in and they graciously offered to fix my problem between appointments. A day passed and it became clear that the rattle, while not as pronounced, was still there. When I called to see if they could fix the problem they said I had to wait 2 weeks until there was an open spot on their calendar. Since I'm not from the Ephrata area often I asked if they could again ""squeeze me in"" between appointments. This time it was a no-go. I would have to wait... meaning I'd have to make a special trip to see them. In the end I was out $20. The sign over their desk offered a discount when paying with cash. Even though I paid with cash, I didn't receive a discount. Pretty shady. My guess is that Red Run does a good job for most of its clients.... not for me though. Pros: Mennonite Owned = pretty honest? Cons: Tough getting seen in emergency more

If you live in the Ephrata, PA area and need an exhaust or just a simple exhaust fix check here first. Great service and fast, I was told to go to red run exhaust from a co-worker and after going there I will tell any one that asks me to go there as well.
