My girlfriend and I were shown an apartment by Chris and his associate Vivica at about 11:30 am, we fell in love with it, and had the lease signed by 6 that night. We were working with incredible time constraints and Chris was honest, organized, and incredibly efficient which made the deal happen very quickly. We never once felt pressure of any kind and it was so greatly appreciated . Though our encounter with Rapid Realty was brief, it was tremendously positive and gratifying! more

Liars and cheats. Inexperienced agents, ready at all times to lie straight into your face to make a commission. Not much to talk about here - Googling ""Rapid Realty"" will do, be sure to do your research before giving your business to this business. No brokers here, only inexperienced people tricked into working for a company that also runs a real estate licensing school. more

Be warned that some agents with this company may jerk you around. I contacted agent Melissa Dixon about moving into an apartment within a month. I had a big job opportunity coming up shortly after that date. I had my own list of apartments to look at but she assured me that she knew about an apartment that was a sure thing and that I shouldn’t work with anyone else. Evidently the promised apartment went to someone else because they could move in sooner. I could have moved in sooner too! But she didn’t call me until days later after many calls and texts from me. Then she said she’d call me with another apartment the next day. Five days and many unanswered calls from me later she admits that she has nothing for me. Now I’m in the embarrassing position of telling my employer that I can’t make it (I’m from out of state). To add insult to injury she called me a bunch of names when I called her out in a pretty reasonable way. Cons: Wasted my time, Didn't communicate well more

I am new to NYC. I just recently moved down here from Rochester, NY and was stressed out to say the least on finding a suitable home to live in. I dealt with a couple of realtors while I was still in Rochester and from the start, I was not feeling very good about the lack of communication and ""suggestions"" they were giving me.\r I then looked on the internet and saw a bunch of good reviews on Chris Horner. (When I first called him I joked and told him he must of had a bunch of his friends put all those positive comments up) until he called me and I realized everything that was being said on here was true. He told me exactly what he was going to do for me and delivered! I gave him a list of criteria I was looking for and he went to work! Within an hour he was sending me links and following up with pro's and con's for certain areas. It was very difficult locking down a place living way up in Rochester, so I drove to NYC. I sent Chris a text and said I was here and the next morning we were driving around looking at places. He was able to hook me up with a beautiful brownstone in Brooklyn and the landlords are awesome! (They are actually human too!!) I told him I wanted the place, we went back to the office and filled out the paperwork and I put down a deposit. Saturday morning I am moving into my new home and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Chris. If anyone is looking for a new place to live, I STRONGLY suggest you give Chris a call. my roommates and I were looking for apartments for 2 months and another property manager recommended Chris and it only took us one day to find a place that fit our needs. After a few run-ins that left me in situations dealing with bad apartment conditions + jaded landlords and tip toeing on eggshells around roommates, apartment hunting has left a sour taste in my mouth. Chris Horner helped my anxieties that were taxing me away. He found an incredibly spacious place with my desires and at my price range. Being honest, I was initially unsure of the apartment. Rather than bully me into taking the spot, he took me back the next day and walked me around the neighborhood whilst giving me the pros and cons of the place to aid me in my decision. Whether or not I was going to take the apartment, his approach and knowledge made me feel assured that I was making the right choice. (I did take the apartment!) I’d recommend Chris to all my friends and family because he is a wonderful representation of great customer service: He is an active listener of your needs and concerns, has great research skills and does his homework before meeting/during your meeting, and does not corner you into making an abrupt decision fueled by his own personal agendas. I searched for an apartment for 2 months and I was unable to find anything. I searched online and found Rapid Realty on craigslist and it was the best thing I ever found. Chris from ""Rapid"" was very helpful and friendly. He made us feel very comfortable and the experience was very stress free! Chris Horner really saved the day for me! He was not the typical ""broker"" just trying to force a place on a customer, he listened intently to what I wanted and went out of his way to show me places that matched my criteria and price. If I didnt like a place... that was that and on to the next. Overall his customer service is what won me over...yes the office is a little disorganized, but its bearable when you find the right apartment.
