Excellent service and quick scheduling 7/2/2014

R&D made themselves immediately available to come out to our house in order to provide routine service on our units ahead of a closing of our home that was scheduled for the next week. Their technician showed up on time, called when he was 15 minutes out, and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Pricing was also reasonable. more

Very professional 6/12/2014

We have an annual contract with R&D Heating and Cooling for our heating and A/C. The other day, it wouldn't come on so I put in a service call and within half an hour, they called back. It turns out it was just a timing issue with the unit and it eventually turned back on itself but they were very responsive to the issue. They were very professional and they're here when they say they will be. They even call ahead to make sure the scheduled time is still good and are devoted to performing good service. more

Went above and beyond! 6/4/2014

I hired R&D Heating and Cooling because I found that my heater had went out overnight. I got an answer from them right away and they were able to set up an appointment pretty quickly. Keith arrived on time and diagnosed the problem efficiently. He repaired it on the spot and also gave me some pretty helpful information on how my heater worked. He was professional and competent. The price was very reasonable and I'd recommend them. more

I've been a customer of R&D Heating and Cooling for about ten years, maybe a little longer. Bob Drumheller is probably the best air conditioning and heating technician I've ever run across! As long as Bob is involved, I don't think you can go wrong. I trust him completely! more

Prompt, Courteous, Experienced, Friendly 5/14/2014

Keith, the technician who came out to help us today, was great! He arrived early in the scheduled service window and got right to work. He clearly has deep experience, and he took the time to explain how he was troubleshooting everything. While we weren't able to figure out the exact problem (the good news is that the system is still working...), he narrowed it down to a few likely causes and now I know what needs to be done if it starts malfunctioning again. In any case, Keith is one of the best, friendliest, and most knowledgeable people with whom I've worked. I've worked with two other companies here in Delaware. One was so-so, the other terrible (and I believe not trustworhty). A much better experience with R&D: When the time comes to have more work done or replace our aging HVAC system, R&D will get my business because of our great experience today. more

I am an engineer and scientist who is both interested in every aspect of a service I have engaged, and demanding too. I am typically knowledgeable in many, but not all, facets of work that is done for me. Many vendors would steer away and become defensive when I proffer too many detailed questions, but not R&D HVAC. Brian McNeil answered all my questions and accomodated my unusual requests with a collaborative exchange of information. Our new-construction two-zone HVAC system was installed promptly, professionally, and with the highest standard of workmanship. It has been a pleasure dealing with R&D HVAC. I will call on them again. more
