I've been using R&D Heating and Cooling for years. They're good at scheduling, and their service people are very helpful. They teach me things about maintenance I can do on my own between service calls! more

A good experience. 7/7/2015

I was very pleased with R&D Heating and Cooling's service. I had them install an air conditioning unit for me. They were on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do. This was my first time using them, and I would happily use them again. I would highly recommend their service. more

The service manager at R&D Heating and Cooling really went above and beyond in explaining the options that I had. They responded quickly, provided fast service, and I felt like their prices were reasonable. more

Poor service, lack of attention. Very disappointing. 5/28/2015

R&D installed a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim unit as part of a larger renovation project. It was installed defectively, and the unit leaked, requiring the room to be re-wallpapered. Less than 1 year later, the unit quit working. Although Mitsubishi considered it a warranty repair, and the part was provided without charge, R&D provided an estimate of $880 for the replacement of the defective coil. That was frankly shocking. And it took R&D 10 days to get back to us with that estimate and a proposed service date. So we decided to go elsewhere. more

Honest and friendly experience. 5/26/2015

I had an excellent experience with R&D Heating and Cooling. I called them for a second opinion on my five year old AC unit. The company that services my AC unit said reported that my unit was going bad, and it would probably cost in the neighborhood of $1500 to fix. I found R&D Heating and Cooling online. The technician that helped me was very knowledgeable. He told me everything with my unit was fine. He took pictures and showed me all the areas of concern and said they were normal wear and tear for five years of use. I felt that he had my best interest in mind. I'll probably switch to them for a service contract in the future. I would recommend their service. more

Dependable, Efficient, Fair, and Accommodating. 5/18/2015

R&D Heating and Cooling is staffed by some of the most polite and cordial technicians that I have ever encountered. They have both installed my HVAC unit and serviced it. They pick up the phone the moment I call them and schedule appointments immediately. Having them do work for me is a nice experience, which is not something that can be said of every HVAC company. The young man they sent to my house recently was helpful, accommodating, and kind. He was super, and the service he provided was as well! more

R&D Heating and Cooling is a no muss, no fuss type of company. They arrived promptly when they said they would and came in wearing little booties so they wouldn't track in any mud. They checked in with me before starting work and let me know how everything as going to happen. They had the job done in no time and were in and out quickly, leaving no mess behind. Before leaving, they checked in with me one more time about everything, then sent a follow up email requesting that I contact them if I had any questions or concerns. I'm quite pleased with their services! more
