Quilting Delights really is the ""Heart and Art of Quilting!"" The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to help with projects and special order items. The owner designs beautiful quilt patterns and teaches wonderful classes where one can get plenty of individual instruction and meet new quilting and sewing friends. The shop has beautiful fabrics and notions to choose from and carries Bernina and Handi Quilter machines. If you are looking for a new machine, there are plenty of floor models and the staff will assist you in trying them out so you can find the perfect machine for you!! I love this store and the staff there! I can't say enough fabulous things about them!\r more

I am a beginning quilter and LOVE Quilting Delights. The owner, Thea, as well as all of her staff, are wonderful, friedly and very helpful. There is a wide variety of classes and clubs with wonderful instructors. The enthusiasm of the staff and instructors makes you want to be involved in everything. I highly recommend this store. A big thank you to Thea and all the staff of Quilting Delights for all you do for your customers. more

I have been a customer at Quilting Delights for years. I love this shop! When I first found this hidden treasure trove, I had never quilted before. Thea is such a great teacher and is always ready to help make your sewing experience fun, while giving outstanding support and innovative ideas. Whether you are a beginner or have years of quilting, sewing or machine embroidery experience, Quilting Delights will breathe new life into your creative juices. Be careful, though; you will become instantly addicted because there is always something new to learn and create! I highly recommend Thea and her staff at Quilting Delights! more

I fly from Reno each month to take Thea's Civil War quilt block of the month class. I love her expert cutting/piecing techniques. I've learned so so much and I can't wait to take her next class. more

Quilting Delights offers the best prices and LIFETIME free Mastery classes for your new Bernina sewing machine. All their classes are fun and I have learned so much from Thea and other great teachers. There are classes for everyone, from beginner to advanced and all are welcome.\r \r The employees are always polite and helpful, and I have met many nice women there who have become good friends. It's just a great place to learn even more about what you love to do; whether it be sewing, knitting, embroidery, etc. I've bought two machines from Thea and I get great service and support. I wouldn't go any place else!! more

Best place to buy a Bernina. They have SO many classes to choose from so that you can learn how to use your machine to it's fullest. I get confused as to which class is which! I've learned so much. Thanks to Thea and her wonderful staff for all of the great support! I LOVE my Bernina! more

Really rude and not helpful 11/22/2011

They don't get any stars but I had to choose one. They've had my Bernina machine for repair for a month and have never called me to tell me what's going on. I had to call the day it was supposed to be ready to find out. I've called and asked them to check and call me back but they never have. I called again to see if the part was in and the woman hung up on me. I took the machine to them because they're a Bernina dealer but I'll never do business with this shop again. more

My Favorite Quilt Shop 6/7/2011

I just upgraded from a Bernia 440 Q.E. to A Bernina 640 at Quilting Delights. The staff are always helpfull and supportive. The Mastery Classes are great. If I have a problem that they can't answer they get right back to me with an answer. I always tell my friends this is my favorite shop. Go by and be amazed like I am! more

Quilting is an art! 6/7/2011

I have been a quilter for 42 years and have even taught lessons. I want all fabric and quilt lovers to know that this is a shop that is well worth your time. The professionals that work there went out of their way to answer questions and find fabric from other stores for me. My current machine was 24 years old and I bought a new one at Quilting Delights. There are many classes at the shop at many levels. My experience has been GREAT at this store. Run don't walk to this one!!! more

Best dealer around 6/7/2011

I purchased my 1st Bernina, a 440QE from another store. I did not get a lot of support from the place I purchased the machine but I loved my machine anyway. I knew that it had the ability to embroider but I didn’t have the support to figure it all out. Then I found Quilting Delights. Thea was so kind. She took me under her wing and encouraged me to use my machine and come to classes and learn about my machine. Which I did. Then I signed up for a TNT class where I got to sew on a 830. What a machine, I was sold, I had to have one. Thea has given me so much support in learning my new machine. She has lots of classes to learn the machine but also the embroidery end of it. She is always there, giving us encouragement and support. We are constantly learning. If you take a class and don’t get your project done in class, she will have a follow-up class or you can just go in and she will help. My favorite thing about this store is: Thea cares. She is there for me if I need help. She calls me by name, and she keeps my creative juices flowing. I so enjoy going to class or just going and checking in to see what is new. I have learned so much at the embroidery club every month. I even purchased the software and am now off to a whole new world. I am so glad to have not traded my 440 in. I can sew and embroider at the same time. Needless to say. I am one HAPPY CAMPER! more

Horrible Business Owner 6/6/2011

I have gone to this shop a number of times over the past 2 years. The woman (Taya) that owns this shop is a dishonest business woman and a liar. Not mention, she is terrible to her staff. I feel bad for the people that work there. more

Thanks to my Oregon dealer 6/6/2011

About 3 years ago my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I had quit sewing as I had given up on my old machine. \r I was very excited when I opened my gift that morning and it was a beautiful new Bernina 440QE. The funniest part at the time is that I knew nothing (and I do mean nothing) about Bernina. \r My husband informed me that the dealer he purchased it from also gave classes to teach me how to use the machine as part of the purchase. I remember being a little intimidated by this new piece of equipment, so I signed up and dawned the door of Quilting Delights. I had no idea how much I would learn due to the dedication and enthusiasm of Thea and her employees. They got me so hooked that last August I also purchased an 830. \r Thanks to them I am a Bernina fan for life, but moreover I have made great new friends to share my hobby with. more

Great Bernina Dealer and Long Arm Support 5/31/2011

It's nice to see a shop specialize in something and do it really well! This Bernina dealer really knows the product and supports us as customers on all of the computer stuff and machine things.\r \r They have just recently signed on as a Handi Qulter dealer and have two really great machines in the store, including the computerized one! Wow does it do amazing quilting and the owner knows how to make them perform.\r \r The shop has really great people and support to help you with any project. They are really interested in my success! more

Poorly run - poorly managed - poor service 5/8/2011

Two complaints: \r #1 This quilt store owner does not return phone calls, does not follow up on orders placed, cancels classes at the last minute, is frequently out of products, is disrespectful to customers, says ""it will be in in two weeks"" then six weeks goes by without a phone call after she has taken my $10,000 plus. Nothing is ever as promised. She is always late or half done on everything. As a new owner of an 830, it is a complicated machine to learn, but the store owner repeatedly cancels desperately needed classes, but says she is available to answer questions -- but doesn't return phone calls. She has set up class titles that are confusing and redundant, then shuffles you around and / or cancels them arbitrarily. She will not allow anyone else but herself to answer machine questions, so you're stuck waiting for that return phone call that might come days later. I would transfer my training to another store if I could. \r BUY THIS MACHINE FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!\r \r #2 BERNINA: Bernina includes in the price of the machine training money to the store owner -- which is why store owners ""wonderfully give free classes"". But Bernina doesn't follow up with their customers as to how their representatives are doing. \r COMPLAIN TO BERNINA ABOUT THIS STORE OWNER!!! more
