Buyer Beware 5/28/2010

I agree with the "in my humble opinion" who posted on April 10, we have the same salesperson. Job has been a disaster. They used the wrong color copeing or zip strip on our pool, we now have gray concrete and gray tile with a beige zip strip. It looks so bad that even the employess from premier have agreed. First the guy who came out to clean the inside, he called his supervisor with us there and said it was wrong, then they guy who set up the filter agreed it was horrible and noticed it right away. Finally the salesman came to look and agreed it was a mistake but assured us he would stand behind his work and fix it. Well they send some guy out yesterday to "fix" it... the fix was going to be to glue another color strip over it... #1 that is not the way to fix it #2 he showed up with wood glue and #3 when that did not work they tried to use crazu glue, by the way that did not work either. So now we still have an empty pool and are waiting for Premier Pools to "Stand behind thier work "like the salesman promised. No return phone call yesterday from the owner of Premier pools and no return call from the owner of Earthscapes who Premier sent over. No call today either as of this post. All i wanted was my pool fixed..asking to much? I will post everyday until fixed Pros: laborors were very honest about own company being bad Cons: Bad work, lies and they do not stand behind work more

Buyer Beware 5/28/2010

I agree with the ""in my humble opinion"" who posted on April 10, we have the same salesperson. Job has been a disaster. My Wife is Even Happy 4/29/2010

Very quickly done and very impressive. Destruction & digging crew were awesome and very professional. Granite very quickly and professionally done. Rock work crew very accommodating to new changes and they were very creative. Final maintenance crew fixed minor problems and were instructive. Overall an excellent experience and I would easily recommend Premier Pools & Spas in the future. Should also mention the outstanding support, recommendations and professionalism of all the sales, construction managers/supervisors (Mike, Chris and all other high levels that came out to inspect). Mike, you gave us the exact pool that we wanted and paid for. Forgot the landscaping and concrete crew; awesome, and they made our backyard much larger and made my wife extremely happy with the retaining wall. With just four simple words, “We’ll make it right”, you completely transformed our experience with Premier Pools and Spas from one that was becoming frustrating and negative to a very positive one. As you know, we have experienced ongoing problems with tiles falling off our negative edge and were having difficulties getting our most recent concerns addressed. We spoke with you Saturday and by Monday we were contacted by Clay Fitzpatrick, Remodel Division Manager. Clay came out evaluated the situation and gave us options for remedying the problem. His outstanding level of knowledge, experience and superb customer relationship management skills gave us immediate confidence that we were placed in the right hands. By Thursday, the repair work began and was completed on Friday – less than a week from our initial conversation. We cannot say enough about how pleased we are with the way Clay advised us, worked with us and with the final result. He and his crew did an absolutely outstanding job and we are so pleased with the final outcome! They treated my pool like it was their own 4/20/2010

I had five companies bid for my replastering job and only one -- Premier -- didn't occupy my time by trash-talking the competition. I was amazed at how petty and unprofessional the others came across by comparison to Mike Strassberg, my Premier rep. When the demolition of the old surface began, I was blown away at how much work Miguel was willing to do on my behalf. At every turn, he identified extra tasks I didn't know to ask for but that greatly improved the outcome and appearance of my pool. None of this resulted in extra expense, but they all meant extra work for Miguel, which he did happily. Rick's plaster crew kept up the hot streak. As soon as he saw the pool, he identified two or three things that would make the final product better looking. He got right to work on these without me having to ask or pay extra. Watching that crew work was inspiring... six guys coordinating their efforts to create beautiful, smooth plaster and taking genuine pride in their work. Now I'm in the service phase. Premier's reps are again finding tasks and tweaks I didn't know existed and performing them, all for the previously agreed price. When I had a question about brushing the pool, Mark picked up the brush and showed me instead of answering the question and moving on to the next stop. At every turn, these guys have worked on my pool as if it belonged to them and they want it to be perfect. There have probably been 10 occasions when things seemed fine to me, but Premier found a way to make it even better. They understood from Day One that while this wasn't a huge job for them, it was a very big deal for my family and our budget, and they've treated it like one. I'd recommend them to anyone, anytime. Everyone at Premier has been helpful and followed through on everything that was promised and more. Michael and Tina also saved me a lot of money on the whole project with using Premier. I met with over 5 pool companies and truly feel that Premier builds the best pool. Our neighbor is also installing a Premier pool at the same time and is extremely happy as well. The end result is a beautiful pool that far exceeded my expectations thanks to Michael and Tina. Do Not Use Premier 4/14/2010

So where do I start? If you get Brian, the owners son, as a sales person - ask for another. He is an arrogant used car salesman. He left items out of our contract that he said were in it and even noted the line items as if it was included but at the end it wasn’t. On the day of the dig Brian kept telling his guys to go deeper and deeper, 5ft lower than what we agreed upon when we signed the official contract stating this will be the elevation/location of the pool. We kept telling him to stop, along with our landscaper, and he wouldn’t stop. He did this so he did not have to do engineering behind the pool. This cost us an additional 5k later in a 5ft high retaining wall. Don’t expect them to help you after you sign the contract. After you sign you’re nothing to them but a number. Brian would not return phone calls and even several employees at Premier itself complained about him to me. It’s sad when those you work with side with a customer they don’t know. The plans were not kept in sync with the work that was done. Due to this and Premiers’ poor customer service, almost a year later we finished our final inspection. The people who came were specialized but our rep Brian never communicated anything to them and no one had any idea what was going on. So I took over often times and had to stay home more to manage his project. For example, we had an upgrade to add one more pool light. The independent guy came out while we were not home and placed it 6 inches from the other and pointing in the same exact direction. Now what is the point of adding a light and pointing it in the same spot in the pool? This guy clearly has no idea what he is doing. Bottom line, they will give you the lowest price in town. But trust me you will pay in the end by either additional expense from them cutting corners or pure frustration. Pros: Low Price but at what cost? Cons: Bad Cust Service more
