I've never been to a ""doggie spa"" before! What a great idea! The building is GORGEOUS, I love the turf yards; safe and clean for my babies!

Not impressed 2/24/2012

We went to look at and got a tour of the facility as we needed to have our spoiled Golden-Lab grand-dog stay for 5 days while we went away. For $50 dollars a day, she would be in an indoor kennel (largest they had was 4x6 ) and ouside 4 times a day to a gravel kennel is the 'exercise' and potty time. It was a like a doggie jail, and would not subject her to that. more

Glad I found them 10/5/2011

I recently had to board my two ""furry"" children this past weekend. To be honest I was terrified to leave them at a facility because my one dog is very phobic of strangers. Her anxiety issues are so bad I can not take her to parks or even for walks due to the amount of stress it causes her. I was in a bind and unable to find a sitter so I though i would give this place a try based on friends/co-workers experiences. I could not have been more impressed by the way they treated her. She even bonded to one of the technicians!!!! I don't know what they did but it made me feel very comfortable knowing my beloved pets were being taken care of so well. The facility was nice and seemed very clean. I highly recommend getting the web cam options. It is kind of fun to see my pets playing around in their runs. I will definitely use this place again. more

Love this place! 2/8/2011

New to the area, just found this place while driving by, stopped in for a tour and was very impressed! I brought my two 4 yr old labs, and my 6mo old cocker puppy in for daycare and they loved it! The techs and receptionists were very patient with me ( I'm kind of obsessed w/my dogs : ). Nice people! GREAT FIND! more

Good but could be better... 1/21/2011

I really liked Kim Kelly. He is an excellent trainer and very intuitive with dogs. He came to my house, before I boarded my dog for a week of training, to go over issues I wanted him to work on. He made me feel very relaxed about the training and I knew my dog was too the minute he entered my house. My only complaint was with the staff at the kennel/spa. I was initially told one thing over the phone and something entirely different once I arrived. The older lady behind the counter was unfriendly and not someone who should be working with the public. However, I was impressed with the facility and how clean it was. I feel they could avoid potential unhappy customers by hiring/training staff to be more consistent, friendly, and knowledgeable. Had it not been for Kim Kelly, I would most likely not use their kennel/spa/training facility again. I intentionally left off additional services I had planned to add because of the misinformation I received while booking the training over the phone. Get everything in writing if you use their services! Additionally, I have used their vet services since I adopted my dog and have been very pleased with them.\r more

A Response To: ""Injured dog..."" 1/17/2011

First and foremost we would like to say that we are deeply sorry that you feel this way about your experience here at Premier. We take all complaints very seriously want to do all that we can to ensure that all pets receive the highest quality of care and compassion at our facility. After hearing of your pet's injury, we were obviously deeply concerned. Because we do care about the well-being of all animals regardless of how an injury may have occurred, and because we pride ourselves on the quality of our service here at Premier, we offered to have one of our Veterinarians do an examination and therapy free-of-charge. We were willing to and did do all of this free-of-charge despite the fact that the ""wound"" was in essence, of a common naturally-occurring type. We knew this when we treated your pet and we still treated free-of-charge. Why? Because we actually care more about our pets than we do about the money, because we care what our clients think about us, because we take pride in all that we do here at Premier and we wouldn't be Premier if we weren't willing to go above and beyond in everything that we do. So I genuinely do regret that you feel that way about your experience with us, we have tried to do all that we could to satisfy. We would obviously like to see all of our friends and clients leave happy and we would still do whatever it takes to offer our customers the best experience possible. more

Injured dog...... 12/16/2010

I used to board my dog there a lot when we traveled. After our last trip I am not sure she will ever go back there. They sent her home with a wound under one of her legs. When I asked about it they said it must have been self-inflicted! Ok, so I wont even dispute the idea that it was self inflicted with them even though I know they are wrong. My dog was in their care for an entire week, they walked her several times a day, played with her several times a day and the day she came home they gave her a bath supposedly. And yet no one noticed she had a wound under her leg the entire time she was there. Well, she saw a vet the morning after she was picked up and by than the wound have gotten infected and my dog is now on antibiotics for 12 days for her infected wound. I had never received anything but superb service from them until now. But this is enough to make me say I will never place my dog in their care again. more

Dr. Daigle goes above and beyond 11/9/2010

Dr. Daigle is truly an exceptional vet!!! He treats every dog as if it were his own. He came in on his day off to put our dog down. He let her kiss him on the face before he did it. She loved Dr. Daigle so much and loved going to see him, so it only seemed right that he was there to let her go. He is so compassionate. He has a way of making you feel like you are his only patient. He is very knowledgable and has the best bedside manner of any Dr. that I have ever seen. He truly goes above and beyond! more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE/OVERCHARGES! 9/24/2010

I must say, I went into this clinic and was immediately greeted when they found out I was not a current customer of theirs. I was taken on a tour or the vet clinic and also the boarding spa. I was impressed with the facility. My praise for this place, unfortunately, stops there. Before my vacation, I took my two dogs in to the Vet to have their vaccinations done. I told the Vet that they did not need their Rabies vaccine because we had gotten that in Tenessee before we moved here. I did not yet have records, but would have them by the time we went on vacation and needed to prove that they have it for boarding. BOTH OF MY DOGS GOT THEIR RABIES SHOT! and when I complained, I was still charged for them. I guess that they need to pay for the expensive building somehow right? Since my vacation was coming up, I tried calling around to find a different boarding facility but being as it was the last week of summer, lots of places were booked up. I decided to give the Pet Spa a chance, since it is different staff, I thought, this might not be so bad. HA, the joke is on me. I boarded my pets here for 5 days. I was charged almost $90.00 more than the quoted rate just for the boarding. Not to mention the ""Extras"" that I purchased (which were included in the quote price supposedly) - I can't believe that they charge extra to give my dog a treat! I do NOT recommend this place at all. I have recently found another Vet that we like in Pflugerville called Hometown Animal Care that we will be using from now on. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! more

Best Resort and Clinic in town 7/30/2010

I recentely took my precious baby Queenie here while I was on a curise. Leaving Queenie for 7 days was hard, but she received such amazing care, that she did not want to leave, I had her groomed and she was given extra play times and looked fantastic when I picked her up,,, I highly recomend Premier Pet Resort & Day Spa and Premier Animal Hospital to anyone who has to leave their beloved pets and entrust their care with the best,,,Queenie will be back soon,,,, Thank you to the wonderful staff for taking care of Queenie,,,, Pros: Excellant Service more

Horrible Customer Service 6/18/2010

I needed to get our animals needed some med's for a rash that Premier was aware of. They were aware of the rash because of the 300 dollar visit they had had the week before. When I called for the med's to be called in the front desk girl was rude and abrasive. When I did finally speak to a vet he suggested other treatments that would be far more money then the pills we requested. Overall, TOO EXPENSIVE, VERY RUDE!!!! Stay away. Stick with your small local vets unless you have money and patients to spare. Pros: Nice location Cons: Way over priced, Horrible Customer Service more

not good customer service 5/20/2010

I tried Premiere Pet spa and found them inconsistant with service and the actual bath. Twice I had to bring my husky back and get him redone at my expense. The front desk did not return calls for appointments. The price was expensive, but reasonable if they did a good job. I think they might like little dogs better and would do better service for little dogs. Pros: sometimes did a good job brushing out Cons: doesn't return calls, not friendly more

Great vets here!!! 6/30/2009

We have been taking our 5 dogs to Dr. Daigle, Dr. Hamby, and Dr. Whitehill and they are all so kind and professional. Dr. Whitehill even met us in the middle of the night at the vet clinic when one of our elderly dogs got sick. We cant say enough good things about these group of professionals. Pros: Wonderful vets more

Amazing Vet!!!!!!! 2/28/2009

INCREDIBLE!!! I can not say enough about how great Dr. Daigle and his staff are. My Lab puppy got in a tussle with another dog at the dog park and was bit on the ear. It was not a huge cut but still required a few sutures to close it up. Once we got home my pup ripped open the sutures while he was playing rough with our other dog. I felt horrible to have to call Dr. Daigle on the weekend to let him know what happened. He told me to meet him at his hospital on Sunday so that he could take a look. I declined the offer because I did not want to disrupt his weekend. He told me just to drop my dog off on Monday morning so that he could take a look. I had to leave town early that morning so it was going to be difficult for me to do this. ?No problem?, said Dr. Daigle. He offered to have one of his technicians pick up my pup on Monday morning. I am still in disbelief how amazing Dr. Daigle was. He really went above and beyond anything that I could have expected from a vet.\r Dr. Daigle?s facility is amazing as well. We have since started using his boarding facility. He has ?cool? cameras in the boarding rooms where we could see our dogs playing over the internet while we were out of town. Talk about high tech.\r If anyone is looking for a great veterinarian Dr. Daigle is your guy!!! \r Pros: Great vet and staff. Very nice facility. Cons: Absolutely none. more

Great vet!!! 1/29/2009

I took my terrier mix to Premier. Everytime he has been to a vet or groomer he has become a shaking shell of a dog. Not this time. He was even relaxed when they brought him back to the exam room from the rectal exam. The vet took his time with the exam and explained everything to me with patience. He even recommended the cheaper options on heart worm and flea and tick meds. The staff was great and very friendly and gentle with my dog. I would definitely recommend them and will go back. Pros: Friendly, informative, on time, super clean, GREAT with the animals Cons: none at all more

Exceptional Vet & Groomer 5/9/2008

We are very pleased with Dr. Daigle and his staff. He has taken care of our three pugs since we moved to Austin. He has the best ""bedside manner"" of any vet I have used. He genuinely cares about the pets and the owners. We also take our pugs there for grooming with Lisa. In the past, they have scoffed at going to the groomer, but they love going to Premiere. Pros: Caring, responsive, thorough, concerned more

New facility, very clean - just wish it was more 'personal' 10/10/2007

I just moved here and tried this vet based on other citysearch reviews. The office is very clean and nicely decorated, the staff is nice, exam rooms are spacious and cost wasn't too expensive. I don't want anyone to think it isn't very nice, I will continue to go there for all my animal's needs. I guess I'm just used to a more personal touch. My vet in Tenneessee had a smaller office that was older and not as fancy, but everyone knew my dog and tried to get to know me and that made it more 'homey.' I can't explain it any better than that. Premier is very nice and I'm not trying to say anything against it, it's just a little more 'get-in and get-out' than I'm used to. Pros: parking, facility Cons: staff not too personal more

Excellent for boarding with vet treatment 1/30/2007

Have used repeatedly for boarding with medical treatment. Have utmost confidence in Dr. Daigle and staff! Very friendly and courteous. Staff obviously get to know my dog very well and have lots of stories to tell about her stay. Would recommend to anyone in the area. It's a long and nasty drive for us but well worth it! Pros: Very new, nice facility, great staff, knowledgeable vets more

Superb vet & animal hospital!!! 1/17/2007

Dr. Daigle is an amazing vet! My family evacuated from Hurricane Rita and we took my dog with us; we found Dr. Daigle's facility and he kindly took in my dog during our stay. He treated my dog with the best of care, I felt very comfortable leaving Skip there knowing he was in good hands. Dr. Daigle's love for animals shines through everything he does and says! I loved the way he caressed my dog and he assured me Skip would be well taken care of. His office staff was very hospitable, his facility very tidy and sanitary! Pros: service, friendliness, value more

They treat my dog like a human being!! They really do treat my dog 'as if it were their own'! They have a beautiful, clean facility..... very welcoming!
