Precision TV Repair

This company (if that what you call it) is based out of North Carolina. That is why when you call, no one ever answers and when they do call you back, they block the number.\r \r They have some local (unprofessional) guy that comes to your house, collects a $90-$175 diagnostic fee and tells you they will call with an estimate. If this guy knows what he is doing, and will be doing the work then he should be able to give you an estimate right there.\r \r I paid $90 cash for an invoice that was a generic invoice with no company info on it at all and I have to request from the service guy to write on the invoice pertinent information that he should've already included like that the $90 service call fee is applied toward the actual service, ect.\r \r No one called me the next day of course, I have to call the next week and when James returned my call, he said it took so long because they were trying to find the part. He told me that Phillips no longer made the part I needed (High Voltage Transformer) and that they only other option was a fix that would cost over $400 after my service fee is applied. I asked him if there was an alternative or a generic part, ect. ect. and he said he would call me back...... Still waiting.\r \r I also called Phillips and they do still make the part in question. Go figure. Now I am trying to figure out if what they say is wrong, actually is wrong with my T.V. or if that so called technician didn't mess up something else in my T.V. because when he first came in, he tried to take off the bottom front panel of the T.V. where the speakers are..... This doesn't come off you dummy.\r \r They even list their company at A+ Precision in the phone book to be the first company advertised and this isn't even their real name. I'm contacting the bebebe, rip off report dot com and any other service I can to warn others.\r \r Please, please, please save your time and money. $90 bucks isn't that much but in this economy it's more like $500 Pros: Service fee would be included in repair Cons: Everything under the sun more

The technician came last Monday 12/1 and told us that he can fix the TV for the amt of $350.00. After several attempts to fixed the issue, the needed part/s were not available so he told us that he should be back the following day 12/2. He then collected the $95.00 out of the $350.00. We've waited for the guy to come back the next day and we later found out after calling them that the parts will not be available for the next 2 to 3 days. The weekend has come and gone and we never left the house thinking we will get a visit from the tech but unfortunately, there was no visit nor a courtesy call. We left a message Sunday asking their office to call us Monday and let us know of the schedule/s so we can make arrangements. Monday has come and gone - no courtesy call. Left another message this morning Tuesday, but again no calls received from the office. This was not the kind of customer service I expected from this company. I hope the management can read this review and take the necessary action. It is poor customer service having customer waiting for a call back. WE SHOULD NOT BE CALLING THEIR OFFICE ALL THE TIME AND NOT GETTING A CALL BACK. Communication is a key element to customer service. If they truly care of their customers they should at least attempt to initiate the contact. I hope we get the call sooner since we already paid $95.00 for a repair that was never done. My TV has been dismantled and so far, I am very dissatisfied with the service and NOPE I will not refer this company to any of my friends, co-workers or family members. We paid $89 for Precision TV to send a guy out to tell us that $650 MIGHT fix our tv. We took it to Pierratts, paid $230 and it was repaired. You decide where to go- we are going to Pieratts from now on. more

Great Service, Tech came out made and extraordinary effort to fix my samsung HDTV, he did not have parts but left and came back to fix my set the same night, Great service, I had previous servicer out and was told set was not worth repairing, i had my doubts, so i called these guys, turns out they were wrong, My Television was repaired at a fraction of the cost as i was previously quoted.....Highly Recommended, prompt service, very knowledgeable more

A+ Precision TV Repair got one star because I couldn't give them zero. They do a great job on their initial reply to you. They come out and collect their $90 then you don't hear back from them. Over a week has past since my part was supposed to be in to fix my TV. One week has passed since they were supposed to be out to fix my TV. I have talked to them 3 times and all 3 times, they said that they would call me back. Nothing. I have now left 4 voice messages with them trying to find out what is going on with my TV...once again nothing. For someone relying on customer service, I do not know how they stay in business. If this continues much longer, I will just take a loss on the $90 and call someone else. Beware... \r more
