Its hard to believe that this restaurant isn't better known. Its in the heart of Beverly Hills, just off La Cienega's Restaurant Row and I have driven by it for probably 10 years, but last night was our first dining experience here. And I assure you that we will be back!!!!! Its low-key, not pretentious or overpriced like Wolfgang's on Canon or stuffy like Ruth Chris' (although I like the filet there too). Not a scene, where you are going to see & be seen. Its a true steakhouse restaurant in every way. The service was very attentive (thank you Chad), the drinks & wine were good, the Onion soup was perfect (not too salty like so many others), and the Porterhouse steak was delicious and presented beautifully, with the filet minon on one side and the new york steak on the other side of the T-bone. Cut to share and enjoy!!!! We had Mushrooms & Spinach as our sides, both were super! Dessert was also delish, we had the Chocolate Molton Cake and an apple tart, both served with Vanilla Ice Cream. But the best part, was when Chad brought out the Cotton Candy lantern tower (for lack of a better word), which was fun, beautiful and yes yummy! Its brought us back to our childhoods, as my husband and I reminisced about our own memories of Cotton Candy. This is a great place for a family gathering, we are planning my father-in-law's 80th birthday here in the private room and also a great place to bring out of town guests. Best of all, everything I described is part of the pre-fixed menu, which was $45 per person. Where else in LA, can you eat & drink like royalty for less than $100 per couple? Enjoy!!!!!
Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Easy Parking
Cons: My Stomach was too small & I'm pregnant right now!
