Krista Howard was excellent. She was very informative and did not not pressure us or rush us in any way, as I have had happen in the past at other dealers. She took us through the features of each car as we stepped up through the Tiguan product line and explained the benefits of each enhancement. She did a great job of convincing us of the value of their warranty and maintenance program. She was able to give us a trade in value on the spot and arranged for an immediate test drive. They did not have the color and feature combo in stock so she jumped on her computer and personally committed to having what we wanted delivered from another dealer in 24 to 48 hours. Their entire staff was great. Jim Frye stood in the pouring rain holding an umbrella over my head when I picked up the car and took me through my purchase. Once inside the car, he explained each feature and agreed to let me send my wife by for her own private ""training"". Overall this was a truly great and fun buying experience and I would recommend their team to friends and family without hesitation. more

Service staff were very respectful, knowledgable, and timely. They got me out by the time I needed to work, and they followed up with me after I left. They told me what I may need to do even though it meant I may need to go to another dealer. I am greatly appreciative. more

For all VW owners this business is an excellent place to go for all needs, I was impressed in how quick my vehicle was diagnose and repaired I was in and out within a timely manner, in this day and age this is almost unheard of. more

Doreen is excellent! She put up with me for hours. There were other people we dealt with during the purchasing process and they were all great I am just bad with names. We bought 2 cars, 1 new and 1 used. Great deals on both. The new car had transport scratches and dents on it. Doreen called us BEFORE we went to examine it. We deemed it to be unacceptable and were told to pick the color of our choice and they would get it for us at no extra cost. It was there the next day! If there is any feature we don't know how to use its because someone wasn't listening. Everything was gone over in the car in detail, I never had that done before. I hate the process of buying cars and I hate salespeople. Okay I still hate the process but I loved Doreen and the group at Platinum! They really did make it easier and much more pleasant and I was happy with the deals more

I just purchased a 2010 Tiguan for my wife, my second car in 2 years. I always deal with Joe Ricobenne as he is an honest man and pleasure to deal with. From all of the dealers I have visited this one is the only one where you are treated as a customer and a human being. My friend asked me where I purchased the car as he liked it and said he was going to buy one. Of course I said, go to VW Platinum and ask for Joe or even the GM Josh. Thank you guys. more

Going car shopping isn't one of my favorite things to do, usually the sales people are unreasonable or snippy... But I'm happy to say that my experience at Platinum VW was amazing. Doc was great, he was attentive, hassle free, and friendly. He made the experience absolutely painless. I got a wonderful preowned Jetta and could not be happier, every detail was explained before I left the dealer and the car was in tip-top shape. I really loved Doc's personal touch of putting a bouquet of flowers on the dashboard. If your planning on buying a VW head down to Platinum and speak with Doc!!! more

I had first spoken to Doc, about a year ago as I was interested in purchasing a Beetle. I had to get some affairs in order, as well as pay down a bit more on my trade. I eventually came to see doc, a week ago tomorrow. He remembered our conversations, and me. I walked in knowing exactly what model, trim level, color, and dealer accessories I had wanted. There was no sales-pitch, he didnt try and up sell me into something I didn't want or couldn't afford. My paperwork was done within an hours time, after a few days to find my car I got to pick up my new Beetle on Friday. After everything, Doc came outside, and handed me the pen we used to sign the paperwork out for my new car, and told me ""it doesn't end here, if you need something, or to schedule your service just call me."" It was a nice touch. I've read some mixed reviews on service, and it boggles me as to how such a great sales team can be backed by a weak service department. I really hope to find otherwise when I head in for my maintenance... more

We just got a certified VW from Platinum in Hicksville, L.I. This dealership is as good as it gets. Professional and honest in every way. Internet sales department has great communication, very informative, quickly texted us many extra photos of the certified pre-owned car in which we were interested, agreed upon a very fair price, and car was exactly as described. From start to finish, 100% integrity with this dealership. We recommend them without reservation. We worked with Ed. Josh (who I think may be the owner,) and Bill in the business office also assisted us. Everyone was a pleasure and easy to deal with. If you are in the market for a new or certified VW, go to Platinum. We traveled about an hour to get there and it was well worth it! more

Platinum VW in Hicksville has been the source of a lot of different cars in my family for the past 10-15 years. When it was time for me to trade in my 2010 Jetta, I decided to go with them again. Even though I did not see any familiar faces, the current management team is amazing. My sales guy David was wonderful and got me exactly what I wanted . The financial manger Ali has a great personality and makes you feel like you are talking to a friend instead of a sales man. And it all wouldn't be possible without the general manger Moses. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and truly cares about the satisfaction and happiness of his customers. Moses, Ali and David made my experience the sole reason I will continue to go back to Platinum, and recommend everyone else to also!!!! more

I had my first and only experience with Platinum VW the past week. I couldn't believe how easy they made it. I have dealt with quite a few car dealerships in the past, and while I've never had a bad experience, none were as seamless as this. The several staff members I worked with were so helpful in choosing my car, and put my wants/needs above cost. When the decision was made and the car was bought a technician spent so much time with me answering questions, setting things up, and showing me how certain things worked.
