Pink Fitness For Women

If you actually want a work out don't ever sign up for this gym!!!! The low price isn't worth it when they are never open. Most gyms are open all day and some even 24 hours. It is beyond ridiculous that you cannot work out between the hours of noon and 4 when some people would like to do it on their lunch. Also when I went today at 11:04 AM which is far from noon they were closed AGAIN!!!! Surprise surprise!!! more

HERE I AM AGAIN! NOW CINDY HAS FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED MY BANK ACCOUNT FOR A PAYMENT FOR MEMBERSHIP FEES LONG AFTER BEING CANCELLED! I STOPPED PAYMENT ON ANY FURTHER CHARGES FROM THEM BUT SHE DECIDED TO BE SNEAKY AND SLIGHTLY CHANGE THE BANK ACCOUNT NAME SO THAT SHE COULD ROB ME OF MORE MONEY! I joined Pink Fitness about 3 months ago and I have been seeing consistent results ! I am so excited ! I was so thrilled with the easy no fuss contract, it was throughly explained and totally fair. They also have a punch pass just for classes, so awesome !! Unlike some of the other gyms I've been to. I recently had a baby and I had been trying different gyms with no real results. I began taking the classes and learning all kinds of new things from the staff and instructors. This gym has been keeping me in shape and I eat healthier now and I know its because I'm working out! more

I have been going to PiNK fitness for about two years now, and I love it ! I am so uncoordinated and I was reluctant to try Zumba but the owner Sindy was so encouraging and told me to try it out, so I did and go all the time now! It is a great stress reliever and an awesome workout. I also really enjoy the body sculpting and yoga classes. I love going to a gym that has a friendly atmosphere and such an attentive staff. Thank you PiNK for keeping my booty in shape!!! more

Pink Fitness in West Layton is by far, the WORST gym experience I have ever had. We got transferred out of state for my husbands job for six months, and Cindy, the owner, would do NOTHING for me. I even told her I would extend my contract if she would put it on hold the months we were gone. She refused. After being gone six months, I came back and used the gym again. She puts her fake smile on and was so nice. Once again, we had to leave the next year for 5 months. This time I talked to another staff member. She told me if I was moving out of state, I could send in a bill proving it. I called to verify this with Cindy. She told me I could not have been told that (um, was she there??) and that I was a liar. Cindy went on to tell me I could NOT stop my contract for anything. SHE then told me my contract would terminate the following October, and since I was out of state it would just end. In Dec I was still being charged...Called in and she was a beast. I feel bad for her employees and would NEVER recommend a membership at this gym. more

I've been a PINK member for about 3 years. BEST staff and instructors are there. The place has an atmosphere unlike any gym. Cute inside and very clean. Such a motivational place! There are many dance based exercise classes that are my favorite. There is also body sculpting and yoga. I think they have more classes than most places. You don't have to be on a contract if you don't want too...but the contract prices are a little cheaper. This gym is the best gym I have been to! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I am not on a contract deal, I do the punch pass and it works out great for me because then I am not locked into anything. And as far as I know about ownership, Pink is owned by a corporation in Arizona. They are the best in the business!!! more

I have been paying my 2 year contract for over a year I have talked to Cindy the owner about my situation. I joined because of Zumba. I have had a total knee replacement and cannot do any of the fitness classes. When I talked to Cindy about this she told me that I would have to be on State Disability for her to let me out of my contract. My Dr is willing to write her a letter stating that I am unable to do any of the fitness classes. I am not on State Disablilty (I think she has no right to even know that) So I have just been paying. I decided to try to go on my lunch hr and lift a few weights. 3 times I have gone there and no one is there. No sign on the door, nothing, often she closes due to UEA etc. I do not have small children, and there is no notice on the door or web site. I have called on the days that no one was there and left messages, they have not returned my phone calls. So I cancelled my auto withdrawl and they called me. I talked to Cindy again and she was very rude. She won't even listen to me and instists they are always open during their hours (which have changed since the day I signed the contract) She has threatened to turn to me over to collection and take me to small claims court. Any suggestions as to what I should do? more

Was told different information regarding my contract from different employees. Last person I talked to told me I couldn't have been told what I said I'd been told because no one there would say that. Basically called me a liar. more

I visited this gym while vacationing in the area and LOVED my experience here!!! The instructors and other members were absolutley polite, friendly, & fun. The owner introduced herself & was very hospitable and accomodating. The staff was professional, friendly & knowledgable. I will definatley visit this gym every time I'm in the area. Fun, high energy Zumba classes!!!! Expect great things from this gym!!! Pros: Great Classes!! Fun & inviting atmosphere!! Cons: Classroom size (need more room for larger classes.) more

Worst treatment ever!!!!! Customer service is bad after you have become a member for a while. Trainer keep changing. I heard because management treats them like crab. You would see lots of subtitutes due to it. Pros: lots of classes offer Cons: no integrity more

I have never written a review of anything before, but after reading the comments made by another reviewer I think they must have attended a completely different place. First of all this business is NOT Lady Lifestyle, it is Lifestyle Fitness. The name was changed 3 years ago due to another business in the city being called Lady Fitness. Perhaps the negative reviewer is confused because this center has awesome childcare and great instructors...many who have been there since I started attending 5 years ago. The childcare has always been open. My price is so cheap and I've always loved the classes and consider many of the instructors my friends. It is a great place to workout in a women only atmosphere. What I am about to write should probably not be considered a full review, as I have only been inside this gym once; this is more of a ""second hand"" review. My wife is a member of the this gym and loves it. I have been a member of a bigger gym down in Salt Lake, but as I live in Layton and no longer work in SLC, I was looking around locally. It is reasonably priced, which I liked, has a very convenient location, and sounds like it's more personalized than a larger gym. It has a variety of classes and instructors, and class participant's input about the classes are actually valued and acted upon, when possible. more

When I wanted to join a gym with challenging classes that would make me sweat, I knew it had to be Lifestyle Fitness. I always knew that I would enjoy the comraderie of exercising in a group class, and on my first visit to this gym, I attended a kick-boxing class, and then promptly signed a contract. It has all of the equipment you could want/need to get an excellent workout with or without the classes--which are awesome! At first I thought I might need to follow up with additional weights or treadmill if I felt that I hadn't worked hard enough, but the instructors teach such a balanced class, that I feel I get a complete cardio, strength, and stretch every time I attend. Although I have used the showers a couple of times, I never saw free shampoo--well, who cares? Anyway, I love having the option to exercise every day there and hope to keep going for a long time. The absolute FAVORITE part of my day is the hour I spend at Lady Lifestyle Fitness Center!!! It's called Lifestyle Fitness Center now, but it totally CATERS to women and our special needs! I bring my 2 grandchildren (OK, I am a little young to be a grandma...) to the daycare which is FABULOUS! The daycare is always clean and orderly and the babysitter is a professional, caring gal that I have grown to love! The fitness instructors (I take Step, Kickboxing, Body Shop, Boot Camp - OK, I take all of the classes!) are professional and personable. They work very hard to meet each persons individual needs. With several different levels to each class... easy, medium, hard, harder, etc., it is easy to get started and easy to keep challenged! The instructors make sure that we are using the equipment correctly and safely. They have all become friends to me and the other members! The Manager of the gym, Sindy is very professional and approachable. It is so nice to be able to give suggestions and not only be heard, but also to discuss the pro's and con's of my ideas. I have been a member for over 3 years and have brought lots of friends in to join in on a class or two... (for free!) several of whom signed right up and are still loyal members! You can't beat the price of membership and when one of my friends had to quit the gym, she just gave a 30 day notice and that was that. (She had to quit because she got cancer...yuck!) The staff and teachers are constantly encouraging us and telling us how much they love us and want us to succeed. Always smiling and eager to take time to visit with us or address our concerns, I feel welcome and appreciated as a member! As a professional Realtor, I am expected to be honest and to have great customer service - which I in turn demand from the businesses that I deal with. Lady Lifestyle fitness center is horrible! Very VERY bad customer service! The staff ignores customers standing at the desk. If you call with a question be prepared to be yelled at. I could not get answers to my questions and still have not been able to get out a contract that expired a year and a half ago. I have been a member of three different gyms. The staff is consistently rude. They have the worst customer service I have ever recieved from an establishment of any kind. The contract is vague and allows for others to sign the contract for you and is legally binding to you regardless the person signing it. The contract also does not end when the contract time is up. It continues indefinantly and you cannot cancel it unless you have proof of a move or have a serious medical condition. The hours are short. The facility is small. They do not offer all the classes that they claim to offer. They do not clean their machines after each use. They are difficult to get to. If you are looking for a gym in the Layton area choose a different one. I would never recommend Lady Lifestyle fitness. Pros: They offer free shampoo in the shower.
