The experience from start to finish was efficient, clear, and friendly. Our expectations of car salespersons is always low, and we have had a number of forgettable visits to dealers.From the moment we met Bill Edney, we discussed our expectations for a car. He was helpful in finding a vehicle, and never was the "typical" car salesperson. Most of all, there were no surprises or last-minute changes to the price or with our financing.Bill was very helpful, courteous, and knew exactly how to communicate with us. As with every car deal that I have done over the years, I expected just another painful experience and just another weak salesperson.Penske Honda, and specifically Bill Edney, demonstrated a rarity in the business: good service, experienced salespersons, friendly staff, and a quality deal. I have already told my friends and colleagues about my good experience at Penske Honda.Keep up the good work! more

Excellent experience 3/11/2011

The experience we had a Penske was excellent. They worked with us to get the right trade-in value to satisfy us. The process of getting the lease was easy with very little wait. Our Salesman, Ron Hapes, was very professional and friendly. Very pleasant demeanor. We will be back one day to purcahase another Honda form Penske. more

My experiance was great! 3/10/2011

I don't know how others have had such bad experiences, but my experience was great. I never felt pressured, my salesmen (plural! Bill and John are both great and answered every question I asked, and they also remember me anytime I come in) were very informative and offered great advice. I didn't feel pressured at all. I was getting a decent deal from them on my Civic Si, and I found a better price online. I walked back in after seeing this price, said this is the price I want, and the finance department gave them the green light. They also let me wait a few days before I gave them the down payment, to where I had my car DAYS before I expected to get it. I had it the same day I told them what I wanted to pay. This was my first new car purchase and it went as smooth as can be. There was a minor paint issue with my car, and the sales department paid for it and got me a rental! I can't recommend Penske Honda enough! Don't let these other reviews sway you, as my experience has been excellent. more

Great attention to detail 3/7/2011

I worked with Dave Worsham on the 2011 Honda Pilot lease I recently made with Penske Honda and have been very happy with the purchase and ease of the entire process. Dave made it very easy to do business and i appreciate his attention to detail and professionalism. This was our first experience with Penkse Honda and first Honda purchase. I would recommend the dealership again and him as a sales rep, my wife and I have purchased and leased many other vehicles and this buying experience stood out as it was truly easy and not painful as others have been. more

Complete trust 2/16/2011

The only place I am going for service. My car is older, so they might tell me stop bringing it back, but they always deliver. I have complete trust in their service. Check out the oil change. I had been using the "oil change in 10 minutes" crap, paying 40 bucks. The bill stated the charge for the oil change was 30.00 and they inspected all kinds parts. It's the deal for sure. I wish I could buy one of the new ones they got there too. The new CR-Vs are big baller. more

The dealer of choice! 2/4/2011

I purchased new wiper blades for my 2006 Honda Civic this morning and attempted to install them myself. The job was more than I could handle and was advised to bring the car in and have the service department install the blades for free. I took you all up on the offer! Nothing against the guys and there were several of them who attempted to install the new wiper blades, but even they were running into difficulties. This actually made me feel rather good since I consider myself to be an above average person when it comes to working on my cars. After a few minutes Ed came over and diagnosed the problem with my blades. He quickly got the correct ones and installed them in a matter of minutes and explained to me why the ones I was sold did not work. He also advised me on what to do the next time the blades are replaced. I worked with Ed about a year ago on a repair for my Civic and he was very good then. I just want to let you know what a good guy he is and truly committed to excellent customer service. Even though I did NOT purchase my Civic from your dealership, trust me, when it comes time to get my next Honda, Penske will be the dealer of choice! more

Extremely helpful 1/31/2011

I originally purchased my Honda CRV from Penske Honda. Since then, I have taken it back to them for general maintenance. Calling them to set up an appointment is easy and I really enjoy interating with the service personnel. They are extremely friendly and helpful - just like they were a member of your extended family. Their waiting area is pleasant. There is a large color television, plenty of vending machines, and complimentary coffee and breakfast pastries. When they need to speak with you about unexpected work, you are always approached in a very tactful, non-condescending way - something I appreciate very much. No question seems dumb. If there is one thing I could change about their service is that their turnaround time on provided shuttle service would be quicker. Sometimes it take me about an hour to get to my destination due to the number of other people that have to catch a ride to their destination. more

we have purchased several honda cars from this location. we made a huge mistake of purchasing our last honda from tom wood honda in anderson - we should have gone to penske... we will not ever buy from tom wood and will go to penske in the future - please don't make the same mistake we made more

Dealership with integrity 1/13/2011

This dealership has had more integrity than any I've ever dealt with. They do what they say and aren't always looking for ways to rip off their customers. I have never in my life said I would recommend a dealership to a friend but I highly recommend Penske to my friends. In fact, I recommended them to my sister and she bought her car there and has had the same great experiences with sales, finance and service. more

We were very happy with the customer service and the quick turn around in handling two recall issues and an oil change. So far we have had a number of minor issues and recalls,as well as a few oil changes; and all have been handled in the same manner. Overall a good experience. more

Great buying experience 1/3/2011

After looking at Penske inventory on the Internet we went to the showroom and was greeted by Eric Pruyne. We told him we were interested in the white Cadillac SRX but couldn't find it. He set out to find it for us which he did shortly. He allowed us to take the car for a test drive and explained some of the features along the way. He walked us through the process of purchasing the vehicle. He introduced us to Rick Nadolski who talked us through the financial portion of the purchase. While we were in with Rich, Eric had the car washed and license plates transfered and he even helped us transfer the "stuff" from our old car to the new one. The SRX is wonderful. Thanks to everyone for a great car buying experience more

I usually come with some information on the vehicles(s) of interest and the sales people's statements and evaluations of the strengths of a vehicle coordinate well with what outside commentators have said. Sales people try to be as accommodating a possible in meeting my needs and clarifying what information I need to have. more

Everything great 12/29/2010

Greg was great, everything great. Wished for a little smaller price, but salesman said it was the best you could do. After I checked KBB I found our price to be a bit smaller than retail, but still a few thousand over trade in value. But, we bought because my wife really liked the car and I am a softy for her!!! One of the older gentlemen in sales even played with our grandkid for awhile as we talked with each other! Nice guy. more

Above and beyond 12/21/2010

Dave Redmond went above and beyond to help us get into the best vehicle that we could afford. We told him what we wanted our monthly payment to be, and then he gave us all the possible financing options for the two vehicles that we were looking at. He even allowed us to take both cars home to see how they would fit into our garage. We got a great deal on a great, new car. more
