Subaru Impreza 4/10/2012

Everyone at Pence was easygoing and helpful. I ordered a new Impreza and both George and Ron followed up with me whenever there was an update about the car. The sales people were knowledgeable and not pushy. I love the new car and am looking forward to having it maintained at Pence. more

New 2011 Rogue 3/30/2012

I visited the dealership prior to making a decision on a specific model and the sales associate that assisted me was very friendly and easy going. ?I gave her a generic list of the features I was looking for and the style ride as well. ?She remembered every time I visited the location exactly what I was in the market for and kept notifying me as newer vehicles arrived for me to test drive and review. ?Once I settled on the rogue, she was very helpful in letting me take the vehicle over night for a true test of the vehicle and that truly made the difference for me. ?The Finance associate was very friendly as well and did not attempt to bully or push me into a deal. ?They do have several tried and true sales techniques to help you spend your dollars, but in the end it was still relaxed and non-pressured which was enjoyable. ?This is the second vehicle I have gotten from Pence Nissan and I would be very pleased to shop there again when I am ready for the next new car. more

2012 Frontier PRO-4X 3/27/2012

I went to Pence Nissan looking for a new Frontier . They had several on the lot. I did not see the one that I was looking for. I wanted the off road model. After talking to my salesman, I learned that they had just received two of the PRO-4X Frontiers. They were not on the lot yet. We walked back behind the service center to a small gravel lot where they keep new arrivals until they are ready to go on the lot. They still had plastic and shipping stuff on them and were covered in pollen. After making a great deal, They had it cleaned up and ready to go in no time. I am very satisfied with the new truck and the service I got from Pence Nissan. more

If you EVER need a car, go see the folks at Pence Kia on Midlothian near the mall. I did not feel as though I was being helped by the typical ""car salesman,"" but by a friend who truly wanted to find me a good deal on my first new car. Jerry and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to test drive my new car overnight, and they worked with me to find a payment structure that would work for my budget as a recent college graduate. I now have the coolest car, excellent gas mileage, and a great ""Pence for Life"" warranty that is almost too good to be true! Take my word for it....Pence is the way to go! more

2009 Maxima 3/23/2012

After my unfortunate deer accident in my Exterra, I had to begin searching for another vehicle. I went to Pence to check out their vehicles. I was mainly looking for something with better gas milage. After looking at a few, the sales person could tell I wasn?t thrilled, he then showed me a 2009 Maxima fully loaded. I test drove it and fell in love. This is an awesome car and the folks at Pence were excellent to work with. They gave me a great deal on the price and I would highly recommend Pence the next time you are looking for a new or used vehicle. more

Great Sales Service 3/19/2012

My husband and I had the best experience buying our new 2012 Kia Optima. We were not excited about having to buy a new car, as we have not had to purchase one in 9 years. Cameron and the gentleman who helped us with the financing gave us First Class service. They went above and beyond to make our buying experience extremely easy. The 2 other dealerships we researched before Pence, were not nearly as knowledgeable or excited about our business, so we took it to Pence. Thank you Pence for treating my husband and I so well!! We love our new car. more

Easy purchase at Pence 3/19/2012

Had a great experience purchasing a new Kia Soul from Pence. Walked in and asked to test drive the Soul, asked for a color they didn't have in stock, they got the vehicle for me in two days, I went back and purchased the car. Easy and painless! more

Easy DEAL at Pence Kia 3/17/2012

I am a tall guy, about 6'8"" so finding an economical car that I could fit in was hard. At first glance the Kia Soul appeared small, but it fit me great! I walked into Pence Kia to talk to them about financing since this was my first time car buying experience, I knew it would be hard to find financing. Since I knew what I wanted the salesperson didn't have much work to do, but she did a great job. The Finance person did a lot of work to help me get financing secured. My overall deal with Pence was easy and I walked away with great financing terms and an AWESOME deal! Thanks Pence!!!! I definitely recommend going to Pence for your next vehicle. more

On 02/19/2012 I purchase a 2012 Nissan Juke at Pence Nissan on Midlothian tnpk, Richmond Va. The experience was wonderful. My sales person Cameron took very good care of me, he was very thoughtful and caring. He listen to me and was able to answer all of my question. Most of all he made my expeience purchasing a car for my daughter as painless as possible. I am really enjoying this car. It is sexy, sleek and a real eye catcher when I am driving it down the street. more

Poor Service and Parts at Pence Service Center!!!! 8/27/2011

POOR SERVICE AND PARTS AT PENCE SERVICE CENTER!!! I purchased front struts from Pence in April and paid $878 and now in August I am told I need new front struts again. Pence Nissan said they did not use Nissan parts so only the struts are covered under warranty and I'll need to paid $400 again to get the structs replaced just after only 4 months usage. They acted as if I was unreasonable when I thought this was rediculous. They said if they had used Nissan parts, I would not have to paid any costs for the replacement. Of course when they put the struts on, they did not tell me they were using poor quality replacement parts. more

Felt like Home 6/13/2011

I needed a new car and didn't want to spend much money, the Pence Subaru staff was warm and friendly. They found exactly what I needed in a timely fashion. No wait or hassles. I love the idea of the free oil changes and other free servies they provide. I have already recommended several friends of mine to visit with the Dealership and they have purchased new Subaru's as well. I will definetly go back when it is time for a new car again. Dishonest Service Department. Will not go back 11/9/2010

I bought my Maxima from Pence in 2002. My most recent experience involved going to them to check a service engine soon light, rotate and balance my tires, and change my steering fluid. That trip cost 700.00 (service engine light was on, allegedly, b/c some $450.00 sensor had broken). The next day, smoke started coming from under my hood. My radiator was now leaking. Took it back in and they told me $480.00 to fix the radiator, and that they recommended replacing some radiator hoses at a cost of $540.00. I said give me my keys, I'm going to leave. The guy came back 15 minutes later and said he'd do the radiator for $390.00. I took my car and left. Got a recommendation from a friend for a good auto service company and they replaced the radiator for $290.00. The place that fixed the radiator said the hoses didn't need replacing, and if they did, it would only be $100.00. I wonder how much money I've spent unnecessarily over the years at Pence. more

Questionable service dept 4/15/2008

At 75,000 miles, my car had a left side head gasket leak (external). After researching the problem, found that there is a technical service bulletin on this problem (WWP99) for Subaru?s as this is a common problem. I bought the car from Pence Subaru, so decided to call them in regards to what I had found, after calling Pence service and giving the last 8 of the VIN, the service manager said that my car was not covered under this ?recall? and would costs $2200 to fix since the car was out of warranty. I then decided to called Moore Cadillac/Subaru on W. Broad street because they are closer to my home, gave the last 8 of the VIN and their service manager said that this was car was in fact covered by the recall and that he would contact Subaru for me even though its out of warranty. The service manager managed to have Subaru fix the repairs for FREE - saved me $2200 to make one phone call. I am not trying to generalize, just relaying my experience with the Service Dept at Pence. Take it for what its worth, but do your research and get multiple quotes. Pros: Sales Dept Cons: Service Dept more
