Pellegrino's Saab Service

This is the worst auto service I have ever had. Nick Pellegrino is an extremely rude and dishonest man, constantly assuring you of his "honesty" as a ploy to swindle you out of as much cash as he can. If you're looking for honest, quality work for your Saab, stay far away from Pellegrino's! more

Whenever my car goes to Pellegrino's I feel as if I am sending it off to a spa, it always comes back running great, and in my opinion feeling happier. Rose is always very kind and understanding, and I have no problem leaving my car with her. When my parents were choosing a car for me they picked a saab because they knew it would receive quality care with Nick and Rose. I would recommend them to anyone with a saab, although every saab I see in Ithaca already has there service sticker in the window! more

I live in Boston but my son has been at Cornell with his 2000 Saab. I have been extremely pleased with the servicce at Pellegrino's. \r They have ensured that my son is safe & his car is reliable. Rose & Nic are efficient, courteous & reasonably priced. I will miss them when my son graduates this May! more

We have been taking our Saab 9-3 to Pellegrinos for 2 years (40k miles). The service is prompt, professional and very reasonably priced. If you know and love Saabs, then you know these cars are as quirky as they are fun. Any issue that has arisen with this vehicle has been fixed quickly by Pellegrino's. Our 9-3 now has well over 100k on it, and runs lke new. Thanks! more

Just to clarify what really went on...Mr Snyder missed his appointment to have the snowtires mounted. Then he HAD to have them before Thanksgiving so he arranged to pick them up from us. He did not show up to do that either. He then made an appointment to drop the car. I did call him the night before to offer to do it while he waited at 7:30am. He said he would drop it off the night before instead, knowing we intended to do the work at 7:30am. When he arrived at 8:45am, Nic told him not to come to us anymore.Our worker prepared & moved the tires 6 times, including putting them in his trunk. We are an honest shop because we try to be maximally efficient, which lowers costs. We pay a living wage to our employees so it cost a lot to have him wasting motion at the whim of a customer, even one who has come to us for 6 (not 10)years. more

I have been going to Nick Pellegrino's SAAB Service for over 10 years. Recently I took my car into his shop to have my snow tires changed. I called and made arrangements for them to have my car all day so that they could "fit it in". Rose Pellegrino called me the night before and told me they had a 7:30 am appointment open. I told her that I was going to try to drop off the car that evening. They assumed that I agreed to take the 7:30 time slot. When I was unable to take the car that evening instead dropping it off at 8:00 am Nick was RUDE and upset. He had his mechanic load up my snow tires into my car and asked me to leave. I did so politely. I will NEVER use or recomend his shop ever again. Customer service is not his strong suit more

this is the place to go. They know your old or new Saab. Th ey are experienced and keep their word. One of Ithacas treasure where your treasured Saab is concerned. more
