I am a apartment house manager, after having previous appliance repair experiences that were terrible, I was not looking forward to finding a company to work on my washing machine. But after discovering Paul's Washer & Dryer Repair, I have renewed faith that knowledgeable, quality and honest repair people do still exist! Paul's Washer & Dryer repair is a hands-on, personal service company. Paul's s is not a huge company with a frustrating automated phone system. I spoke to Dave about a washer part than needed to be replaced. He took the time to discuss it with me, which also showed that he was completely familiar with the problem. David recommended that I have my dryer cleaned out at the same time since I never had that service performed before. He quoted me a very reasonable price over the phone and gave me an actual appointment time (unlike the big service contract companies that give you a window of four hours). David and Oscar were timely, professional, clean and courteous. They removed and replaced the part on my washer and also checked out my dryer. David said that my dryer was very clean as it was, and therefore didn't t need further cleaning. He added that doing unnecessary work can sometimes bring about other issues. He could have easily gone through the motions of cleaning my dryer and charged me for it, but he didn't t. So I ended up paying less than what I had been quoted. I hired Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair to take a look at our Maytag washer. It has been reliable until recently, a small amount of water started to appear, we were concerned that a new machine was needed. Paul's was excellent in diagnosing the problem with our washer and gave us a quote, we were going to fix the machine, however, David, suggested not to. How many companies are really interested in what is best for the customer? No many in my experience. David took his time to explain why not to fix the machine and gave us his professional recommendation on what machine to buy. I appreciate their honest and forthcoming opinion. Dear City Search Community, As a consummate researcher of products and service utilized for our and business it is with pleasure that I write this review for Paul's Service. When we purchased our Maytag Washer from a National Company a service contract was instituted, in theory these should have covered our needs. In fact at times it was a very useful purchase; however, the wait for service can be extensive, up to 7-days, this week that was too long. As I write this I am in the airport on the way to visit family for Thanksgiving with clean clothes in our suitcases. Yesterday we had to have our machine working; Paul's answered the phone, and was able to communicate in a clear and concise manner price and diagnosis. Spending time with us on the phone, to our surprise David stated that quote was fair and we should repair the machine. How many companies treat people like this? Thank You. I would like to share our Families experience of Paul's Service. We had another company at our home, they simply could not fix the machine, they were frustrated and we had no clean clothes. We read about Paul's and decided to give them a shot. Within in a hour they had found and solved the problem. We love our front load, but it can be a bit emotional. There was a hair pin stuck in the basket. Our Front Load Whirlpool Washer would not drain and our clothes were stock. We called around and it was not easy to actually talk to somone till we came across Paul's Washer and Dryer. Great service provided by Paul's. Our Maytag, the Maytag man does exist he nanme is David, quite working with clothes in it. That is all we needed, Friday, going out of town and a broken washer. We called David based on the reviews, they are accurate. David from Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair seems like a very nice guy. I bought a used dryer from him a few months ago. Shortly after purchasing it we had issues with it not working properly, as in the clothes took HOURS to dry! David came over and did some work on it that seemed to fix it for a day or two but then the same issue recurred. I tried calling him to get him to come over again and we played phone tag for a few days. He said some personal issues had come up that he had to deal with. At one point I got a ""text to land line"" message that he would give me a refund for what I'm not sure). Long story short, 2 weeks later I have yet to hear back from him and the dryer did not fix itself.\r \r I think David is a nice, honest guy, and I understand when personal things come up, and I'm a pretty patient guy, but the bottom line is he left us hanging. All he had to do was call (even at midnight!) to let me know what was up. When you leave customers hanging there's no way to fix it. I strongly recommend you avoid doing business with Paul's Washer and Dryer service. more

I had just moved into a new apartment when the washer broke on a Friday night. I called Paul's on a Saturday morning, and David was there by noon that day. He gave us a quote, was honest and accurate, and came back Monday with the part we needed to fix the washer. Unlike other companies I called (most of whom didn't answer on a Saturday), he gave me a quote over the phone, and really knew what he was talking about. He was friendly and fast, and my favorite thing was how informed he kept us through the whole process, so we knew what was going on and what our options were. I didn't know where to start when my washer broke, and I'm so glad I read Paul's good reviews on this website and called them.
