I had the best moving experience with Partner movers. Over the years I have moved a lot of times and I think I finally found a mover I can go back to. I hired them to move my fath...

Worst

I scheduled three men for our move. The movers were supposed to be at our apartment by 8:30 am. They were late...no big deal, only 15 minutes. There were only two of them...oh ...

Great moving experience 9/19/2007

My first interaction with Partner Van Lines started about a week before my move when I was looking for a moving company. They responded quickly and came for a walk-through to assess my move. The representative who helped me coordinate my move and the estimator that came over showed high level of professionalism that was proven by their team on field as well. The guys that came to move us were on time, friendly, clean and polite. On the day of the move I had great communication with the foreman who guide his team in a professional way that helped expediting the entire move. Bay area movers 8/9/2007

The guys were great, had no complains, worked really fast, stuck to their estimate. My main criterion is being honest and these guys have great liability! I'll recommend to my friends. Pros: reliable good guys Cons: no complains more

Who thought moving can be easy?! 7/20/2007

I never thought moving can be so easy! I have a 5 bedrooms house. This guys called before their arrival, came with the company's shirts, were very professional and more than just polite, they did all the packing perfectly! Left everything clean, unloaded and unpacked in my new house everything to its place! And they did it so fast! I was very pleased with their job and the price I paid was more than just fair! Oh and the way they book your job is most impressing! All through the web! I really recommend visiting their website: partnervanlines com it?s very appealing and easy to use! DO NOT USE! 7/10/2007

I would actually like to give them a negative 5 stars but guess i can't. I set up everything online for my move---very cool. They have a very professional website---nice. I old them everything i had...90% i had boxed up myself. I had some wallunits with some glass and 2 plasma tvs. No problem...gave me a quote and said tape would be extra? kinda wierd...but like i said pretty much everything was done so no worries. They arrived...4 of them 1 spoke english. They started taking the packed boxes to the truck then the main guy mentioned that each tv would be an extra $150 and about $50 for each glass panel in the wall unit! WTF??? I said no friggen way...no one metioned that. Then he calls his manager...they guy repeats everything and im like...NO JACK###. Then he's like well we can just put it in the truck as is but we are not responsible....yeah...like im gonna trust you to take care of my stuff now! He said whatever and sent the guys to the next job. DO NOT USE ! Oh...and they made me but a $75 deposit down which i had to dispute with my credit card company. They mentioned they charged for packing tape---which should have been a red flag---but everything else seemed so professional so whatever...it can't be that much. I told them i had 2 plasma tvs and a wall unit....no problem. Gave me a very reasonable quote and we were good to go. They showed up and the job was reviewed. They had taken 3 or 4 boxes out to the truck when the 1 guy that spoke english came and gave me the ""real quote"" ...""before we start i just want to make sure you know that it will be an extra $150 for the tv's plus an extra $25 for each glass item we pack"" WTF???? I told the company what the deal was. His reply was Yeah we get that a lot. I say I'm not paying that. He calls the office and puts me on with whomever there. He just goes on to say the same thing...we charge extra. I refer to the quote and he just says well the others items are extra. I say no and he says...well we can just pack them without our ""special packaging"" but we won't take responsibility!!!! Oh yeah Im going to trust you know. This moving company showed up very late and had not notified me they would be late. They had given me a low bid but then charged exorbitant prices for a few rolls of tape and a cardboard box or two ($76). I subsequently discovered that a case of wine was missing, which I suspect was stolen by the movers. I contacted the company and received a claim form, which I returned. I never heard from them. I contacted them several times, but no response. The employees apparently were dishonest and the company was unresponsive. Don't use them. Pros: Low bids Cons: Theft by workers; company unresponsive to complaints; exorbitant last-minute charges for extras more
