I had the best moving experience with Partner movers. Over the years I have moved a lot of times and I think I finally found a mover I can go back to. I hired them to move my fath...

Worst

I scheduled three men for our move. The movers were supposed to be at our apartment by 8:30 am. They were late...no big deal, only 15 minutes. There were only two of them...oh ...

I thought of moving all by myself to cut down my expenses. Checked few moving sites and compiled all the good and worthy moving tips. Followed the tips for packing but it was not that easy. As we all know “it is easier said than done”. I somehow managed to make little preparation here and there and unfortunately I was pretty late to appoint a moving company. At last decided to hire a mover. Tried getting quotes but did not like it. At last spoke with a representative of Partner Van Lines. Though it was not that cost effective but the move was very good. They took care of all my stuffs. I was impressed with the service provided by them. At last I realized that the money was worth the move Pros: recommend Cons: - more

I would highly recommend this company to anyone 5/7/2009

Having moved several times in my life and always doing it myself, I was a bit skeptical when the gf suggested that we hire a company to do it. "But I'm manly, I can move things" I quickly responded, trying to prove my manliness. She would hear none of it. On the Movers ( partner's movers )...They were so amazing. 3 guys moved our 2 bedroom in Menlo Park into our new 3 bed in San jose in just under 5 hours. That included wrapping and taping everything for us. They came in on the lower end of the estimate and made the move so much less stressful for both of us. I would highly recommend this company to anyone Pros: less stressful Cons: --- more

Outstanding movers !!! thx 11/21/2008

This is my 5th move in the last two years. This is the most expensive company I used, I must confess but it was worth every penny. The guys were excellent, friendly and prompt. They listened to me and they did what I wanted them to do. They moved everything is less than three hrs. Everything made it to the new house without a scratch. I appreciate their professionalism. I wanted to take a minute to express how happy I was with the service I received at Partner Moving. I called your 800-number looking for a small move to be made to a vacation home within a few days. Shon took all my info and assured me he would be able to help out. He was very friendly (and funny) and helpful. He gave me a price quote and explained what I should ask about if I was going to shop around. I explained that the date wasn?t definite because we were waiting on a certificate of occupancy. He told me not to worry he would work it out if I had to switch dates. I was going to shop your price but quite frankly Frank was so accommodating and helpful I decided just to go with your company. I inevitably had to cancel my date and put my move on hold. When I was ready Frank quickly rescheduled the move. My new date was set for Wednesday, and I called on Friday to see if I could change the time because I didn?t realize if I started at my home between 2 and 4 I would be home too late on a school night for my children. Shon wasn?t there but whoever answered the phone said-? no problem I?ll help you reschedule?. On Sunday, the movers (Carlos, Dan and John) came on time, were extremely courteous and hard working. They worked hard not to damage any walls or floors and were respectful of our things. They were happy to take anything I needed to take last minute and kept telling me they had plenty of space in the truck if I had anything else. I was very pleased with the way I was treated and the whole job in general. I hired Partner to move our 4-bedroom home. The job was completed on 10/15. They did a pretty darned good job. The whole house was moved in 9 hours by 4 movers.I received many other offers, at lower rates, but all were for just 3 guys. They also sent me an onsite estimator, who gave me a quote after going through my belongings. He answered all my questions and even gave me a tip or two to help me save on this move. That plus the excellent recommendation from a family friend is what caused me to hire them. They arrived on time, moved everything within the estimated timeframe, didn't break anything (as far as I know so far) and didn't nick any walls. They did use a lot of tape. But they did the taping exactly correctly - there was no tape against any painted surface, no tape against any real wood surface (table tops, etc.). They put sticky sides together where the tape will be touching wood directly. That means extra tape gets used, but, there's no damage to the finish.. We also helped ourselves with this move by having pretty much everything packed up. Our team leaders first comment was that we packed very well (which made me happy because we still had stuff to do and I thought we were behind!). She said it always takes longer if there's lots that still has to be packed. All the movers had Partner Van Lines T-shirts. All in all I am pretty happy with the move, and with Partner Van Lines. I would recommend them. PS, EVERY mover will contact you multiple times trying to get your business, until you tell them "I have hired another mover".
