I've been taking my cars to Phil at PTO for almost 20 years now. I've kept going back to PTO now, through 5 different cars, because Phil is always up front about the state of my cars' tires. If I need just to rotate them, he says that, if I just need two new ones, and not four, he says that too. He doesn't kiss butt and I can see how some people think his customer service is brusk or abrupt, but PTO is always busy - and everyone I know who goes there has gone to Phil for years because he is so upfront. more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. \r \r They put the wrong grade tires on my car, a lower grade than specified by the manufacturer, and didn't tell me. I'm already having to replace two tires after 2 years and only 20,000 miles, even though I rotated on schedule. \r \r When I called to talk to them about the wrong tires being put on my car, he dismissed my concerns and offered nothing. Why spend money at the place who doesn't stand up for their service and products and leaves you high and dry with no options?\r \r Even time I speak to the manager he treats me like a child and talks down to me. It's very disrespectful. Take your business elsewhere. more

The best thing about PTO is Phil Sweat, he won't BS with you but will tell you exactly what you need. Straight forward, that's what I like. Phil is the owner and manager of PTO, and every time you walk in he's helping customers behind the desk and answering phone calls. He is a GOOD HONEST man. If you want the BEST then go to Pacific Tire Outlet in Milpitas to get the BEST!!!! more

I've been a customer for at least 10 yrs. Phil, the owner, always takes care of his customers. He's an honest guy, fast paced and always gives you options to save money. And, he has an awesome and friendly staff. His business is always busy because of their great customer service. I always refer my family and friends to Pacific Tire Outlet. more

I have been dealing with Phil since he opened his Doors over 30 yrs ago. He is the "Best" in the Business that I have seen. I have referred him to "Many People" over the years and I have heard "Nothing" but Good Things. He has always treated me with "Respect" told me the "truth". Which you will never get from most Business Owners. I only wish that he had a "Full Service " for Auto's Shop! I will stand behind Phil above all others. I am in Sales and he is not the typical Sales Person. His Motto is if "You" like my "Style" and "Products" and IF I can help you "Fine"! I come into PTO, and there's Phil. Very no-nonsense, straight forward and direct.\r \r If you're one of these folks that have watched their first "customer service" video, and expect the same here, it's not going to happen. Phil does not give a sales pitch, song and dance, or kisses butt. He's great and making sure your car is serviced correctly, you have a great deal, and that you're on the road in one piece.\r \r i've been going there for 6 years, and have watched the sensitive, touchy-feely types become easily intimidated with Phil's direct answers and fast pace. All i can say is, when those folks walk away looking for "fluffery", usually 2-3 other folks are there to take their place. and i'm one of them. Great job guys!! more

At first, I was very skeptical about any tire company that isn't a franchise but PTO proved me wrong. I first heard of them through a total stranger on the street when I was asking where Wheel Works was located for Toyota Camry oil change because I had their coupon but he recommended Pacific Tires Outlet and added, "I've always change my tires at PTO," so when I approached the manager Phil Sweat, he squeezed me in for an oil change even though they were about to close. Now THAT is good service. 5/5\r \r I personally love places where they value their customers so of course, needless to say, I came back the second time for an oil change. They quoted, "will be done in one hour" in which they took my car in after 10 minutes. Btw, they rotate your tires for free in any type of service but you just need to ask. i wanted to GRANT them a '0' star, but as the customer that had called and got hunged up by an unknown employee who havent even told me about the avalibility of time and appointments. i was very f***ed up by the second call and was trying to be nice for god's sake, the same guy picked up. i was still trying to be good and kind. but he wasnt. he finally told me the avalibility of the tires. (while i was talking, the guy kept whispering 'oh my god' on the phone. i felt really crappy even though it wasnt about me. more

A couple of years ago I needed to buy new tires for my car and went to the Pacific Tire Outlet. The staff there was very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped my find very inexpensive tires for my car and squeezed me in to put in my new tires that same day. They also provide free rotations if you buy your tires from them. more
