An asphalt drive and concrete sidewalk and wooden deck were replaced with pavers. In the process, a submerged sprinkler pipe was damaged, and when I pointed this out, they THANKED ME AND APOLOGIZED. It was fixed at once. Care was taken not to damage plants; they were extremely clean and neat; they were very efficient. Everyone has commented on how beautiful the new drive and walk look now. They even left extra pavers so we could surround some planting areas that were not as yet prepared! It was a great experience. more

I have finally found some time to drop you a line to let you know how impressed we are with the service provided by Pacific Outdoor Living. We viewed your work at the Pasadena Showcase House in May and decided to have someone from your company come out and give us an estimate for a relatively small job. In June we met with Brian Godley who explained in great detail our options for putting in a small patio and setting paving tones under our arbor. He was quite thorough and was so helpful in giving us design suggestions. Within days of our consultation, three sets of paving stones were dropped off at our home in Palmdale so we could get a better idea of which color scheme we preferred. The workers who came to our home were great. It was interesting to see how everything was constructed. Honestly, I was expecting to have a mess to clean up after this job but not a chance. You couldn't even tell we had any work done other than the finished product. Needless to say, both our patio and arbor design look wonderful not to mention the flowerbed running along the fence that Brian suggested! Pacific removed all of the concrete including the driveway, front walkway, and patio at my home and replaced it with paving stones. When I contacted Pacific online a representative called me the same day and set up an appointment for the following day. Chris, the sales rep, was very courteous and helpful in explaining about the whole process. He even left me a DVD that took me through the whole process so that I could understand what was happening. We set a date to start. Chip and his crew began work and were stopped by the City. I came to understand that Downey is one tough city to get work approved in. With the help of Marty and Chip we worked our way through all of the paper work required by the City. Marty was there to hold my hand and encourage me as this went on, Chip assured me that the job would be made a priority as soon as we had the proper permits. When we got everything cleared up Chip and Gary's crew began work. The guys were very hard working and kept the work site clean. Their commitment to craftsmanship was amazing. The final result is beautiful. I highly recommend this company! Trust them, they're the best! I am gazing out the window at my new patio and I just love it. more

Any issues that arose were always dealt with in a very positive manner and had a positive outcome. I was so pleased with this work that we had them complete the replacement of the driveway, patio and walkways at my house. The complexity of this job was very trying at times with having to deal with the city and the tenants of the office building, however, with the assistance of the company it went extremely well and was finished in a timely manner. With the amount of car and truck traffic that drives on this alley way each day, I have had no issues with the work (no broken bricks or any settling issues). We were extremely satisfied with the work and their service. Bryan was the estimator and he showed us various options. Once we agreed the crew started on time and was able to do the job in two days, instead of three. They sent a crew of 7-8 people so they all had a lot of involvement. They were polite, hard working and did a fantastic job which we could not find fault with. They cleaned up the premises without leaving a mess. Our neighbors are very happy with the appearance and maybe they will have Pacific Outdoor do theirs. more

Used them about 5 years ago to put pavers at another place and was happy with the result. So I called them again (through my contractor) this time to do a small job (patching about 30+ sqft). I was initially a bit surprised to get a quote for 80 sqft of work. Their explanation was that a minimum order is a 1/2 pallet or pavers, and that they will lift part of the existing pavers to blend in the new stones. There was a bit of delay initially, for they could not source the matching pavers (granted the existing pavers are old). Two guys came to do the work, and they both were very professional and listened attentively when I explained what I wanted. The bottom line: I was quite happy with the result, and they were able to match and blend in the new pavers with the old ones. more

We had Pacific Outdoor Living install our back patio with pavers and we were thrilled with the experience. They were on-time, on-budget, and very respectful of keeping the site clean during installation. The crew did a fantastic, quality job of installing the pavers. In fact, the leader of the crew pulled us aside while they were still laying out the stones and wanted to confirm the instructions that they had on the design form. He talked us through some changes to how the stones would lay out that avoided what would have been a much less pleasing result. Instead of blindly following the plan, they had the professionalism to come to us to discuss it, and we got a vastly superior outcome. Based upon our experience with this company, I cannot recommend them more highly. They were not the cheapest option, but well worth a small bit extra in the professionalism and excellence of the outcome. more

We had a 2,500 square foot asphalt driveway and several concrete walkways. It was time to redo the driveway and we decided to consider paving stone instead of asphalt. We got an estimate from Pacific Paving (now Pacific Outdoor Living) and checked references and decided to proceed. We did a brick type pattern for both the driveway and the walkways. Michael was very prompt and comprehensive in providing the estimate and we decided to proceed. They scheduled the work in advance and Emerson and Joaquin and their crews did demolition (and recycling) in a day and a half and completed the entire job in less than 2 weeks. They even did a few extras to make it look better. It included putting in a drain system and sump pump because the existing slope for the driveway was insufficient for surface drainage. Joaquin made sure to communicate fully at every step of the project. In doing the demolition they broke the main water line, and stayed for about 5 hours in the evening to do a temporary repair till they could get a plumber out the next day. Truly above and beyond! I got more than my money's worth. more
