The only issue I had was with the service call added to my invoice. At no time did anyone mention a service call in addition to the installed price on my garage door opener. I had a coupon for a reduction in service call but I was at work and my wife handled the transaction. I would only say you should be more upfront about fees. Good quality work! more

I was unable to get my car out of my garage due to a broken spring and O'Brien arrived within 2 hours. They replaced the spring quickly and the service person was efficient, professional, and friendly. more

I am very pleased with the manner in which you do business. The young lady who answered the phone was extremely courteous and efficient. She deserves recognition! I was told that someone would be out between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm and that they would call when they were on their way. I received a call a little before 3:00 pm and they were here within 20 - 30 minutes. The technician introduced himself, and when he looked at my opener, he knew the approximate age of the unit, and told me that parts are no longer available for the unit. I figured that was so, since it was the original opener from 1987. He looked at the entire door, hardware, etc. and made his recommendations, and I asked him to go ahead and replace the opener as well as the old original springs. He went back to the shop and got the parts and returned within just a few minutes, and started taking the old unit out, and got the new unit and springs installed within 2 - 21/2 hours. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the installation procedures!! I am very happy with the way everything worked out so well, and the courteousness of everyone with whom I interacted. I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who I know who needs a new garage door, opener, or service on an existing garage door/opener. Thank you for making a bad situation easier to handle. The repairman showed up just as he said he would, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a price for serives to be rendered and completed them in a very timely manner. Excellent service. more

Appointment set for 2-4pm on 5 Dec 14, had to call at 4:10pm to see if they were coming. Was told next up on list, service person was delayed on prior job. At approximately 4:30 received call from company it would be 1 to 1.5 hrs before service man would arrive. Service man arrived at 5:30pm. I know things happen that can not be prevented but a courteous call prior to appt time would have been nice to let me know there would be a delay in arrival. more

Overall the experience was easy and fast. I called on Monday afternoon and the technician was at my house on Tuesday morning. I was told that I would receive a 30 minute courtesy call prior to the visit, which I received, but the technician showed up almost 1 hour later. The technician was able to diagnose the problem immediately and gave me a quote on the spot without having to reference any paperwork. He did try to convince me to buy other "things" related to the garage door that were not required to fix the initial problem. Overall, it went well. I will continue to use them if needed. more

Major drawback was price. Even though we had discount coupons it only amounted to $10 reduction in service call. more

Totally satisfied so far more

Serviceman was there about 45 minutes. Only one person in truck. Put cable back on pulls, replaced rollers. Was charged service call, $150 to repair cable took 15 minutes. Also replace rollers. Total was $350. Could tell intent was to sell more service, I declined. The service man was an independent subcontractor. He likely gets percentage of what he sells. Next time will call more companies to get quotes. more
