Being a Lake area resident we have been to the NH Club 4-5 times. While we experienced the slow service one time when the main dinning room had been reserved by a group of 75, usually (including today) it's been very good. This is my first time writing a review so bear with me. Sunday brunch, called in a 12:30 reservation at 9:00am same day, no problem. Showed up 15 minutes late, took us maybe 10 minutes to be seated. very courteous hostess. Main dining area was 75-85% full, outside was the same. \r
My family, 4, my wife and I and twin 8yo girls. Brittney was our server, came to us with water in less that 2 minutes. Took our drink order, BM for me, Mimosa for my wife, milks for the girls (in real people glasses as requested by the little ones). Having been here before, ordering was done with the drink order.\r
Eggs Benedict for me, Shrimp and Grits for my wife (she can't get make herself get anything else), French Toast for twin A (again she can't bring herself to order anything else) and Butter Noodles for twin B (she's not a big B-Fast eater). Ordered a side of bacon for the little ones. Plus we always order cut up tomato for each of the girls, they love them and no problem with the special order. Also need to mention I had a buy one get one free from the local clipper mag, again...not a problem. Drinks came in less than 5 minutes, food in about 10-15 minutes. Bacon side was missing, mentioned it, got an apology and a side of bacon showed up in less than 5 minutes. Ordered another round of drinks, same speed and consistency. Not too weak or too strong. Everyone enjoyed their choice's. Twin A had more FT than she could eat, Food at least 4.5 stars. Ending up bill came to $68.00, Brittney forgot to take off one of the meal with the coupon, BIG apology and quickly corrected without any need for management. BTW coupon users need to remember that tip should be calculated on the total BEFORE the item is deducted. NHC is a bit pricey, $6.50 mimosa. We'll keep going.\r
Pros: Great food, view, atmosphere
Cons: A bit pricey
