I hate buying a car and going through the whole process. We visited couple of dealerships and had an idea what I wanted to pay for the car. I visit Normreeves and ask to be helped by Internet Manager. I told the gentleman that we have few prices already and see what you can do for us. This gentleman was not only kind, courteous but was very straightforward. He showed and explained all the features thoroughly and took his time .The other dealership didn't bother showing us the car and they said they can get it from another store and gave us the price and the boot by saying call us when you are ready. Mr Adil Khan not only beat both offers but didn't pressure us at all. He explained all our available options in detail and they had the color that we wanted. This place was very busy on a saturday I was surprised they had that many people unlike other dealerships. We were extremely happy and relieved that they didn't pressure us at all even the fiance guy was very nice and he helped us with the alarm. We will definitely recommend friends and family to this dealership because they made it very easy for us and didn't play any games. more

I had a great experience purchasing my used Fit at Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos. The wide variety of vehicles to choose from allowed me to find the car that fit my needs and personality, while the knowledgeable sales team gave me the information and time I needed to choose the right Honda. I am amazed some people have a hard time with this dealership. I get a new car there every 2 or 3 years. They always have what I want in their huge inventory and their prices are always competitive. The finance guys are aggressive and will try to sell you things you might or might not need. I know what I want and I buy it. They take care of me efficiently and I am on my way. Great place to buy a new Honda. more

Do not go to this Honda dealership. Especially do not trust Avery Richey, the finance manager. He added an item to our contract that we didn't agree to. \r \r When we were dealing with the sales man, Ishan, he gave us the price of the vehicle (out the door). We had a check on hand from our bank, but it was short, so we called our bank to send us a new check in the amount that Ishan gave us. \r \r We then headed to the Finance Department, and Avery started offering us an anti-theft security system and extended warranty. We NEVER said yes to any of these offers. He tried to get us to finance with Honda, but we said we're keeping our financing with our bank. We had to sign papers as if we were financing with Honda, since were are doing an option contract (we are still waiting for the new check from the bank). A few days later we received our check from the bank, so we took it to Honda, and it was short. We then realized that even though we DID NOT say yes to any of the offers Avery mentioned, he still added the anti-theft security system. We told Sal, one of the other finance guys, to just remove the security system because we never wanted it in the first place. And of course he said they can't do that. All they did was add some computer chip to the car and they can't remove it? Full of crap!!!!! \r \r Never ever coming back to this Honda again. more

Stay far away from this dealership! Norm Reeve's Honda needs to rethink some of their business practices. Although we had a great experience with our salesperson, working with the finance department was a whole different story. The misrepresentation and manipulation is abominable! Be wary of the slick representations the finance manager makes on the great savings you will receive on your car insurance premium by purchasing their car alarm. We bought a 2012 Honda Civic, which comes standard with a passive anti-theft device - the Immobilizer Theft-Deterrent System. It is an ignition defeat, which already qualifies the car for the anti-theft device discount offered by insurance companies. You will receive $0 savings as a result of purchasing the car alarm, contrary to the 8% - 16% savings the finance manager promotes. The misrepresentation is further compounded by the fact that the finance department promotes anti-theft discounts as a percent savings of your total auto insurance premium, when in actuality anti-theft discounts are only a percent savings of the COMPREHENSIVE portion of your premium. HUGE difference!!! \r \r Secondly, the finance manager will try to sell you on the great value of the gap insurance plan they offer at $750 (for 2012 Honda Civic - may be different for other models.) Gap insurance is sold by a number of automobile insurance companies. For example, we found gap insurance for $16/yr as part of our premium through Mercury Insurance on the new Civic we purchased. Realistically, gap insurance will be needed for no more than 3 years on our car. So, we will be paying about $48 instead of being gouged $750. SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS!!! Ridiculous. \r \r There is a way to sell your products and still make a profit, without making misrepresentations and gouging the customer. You end up losing more money in the long run. Word of mouth is the most powerful advertisement for businesses, and you have just lost ours. Due to the experience we had with the finance department, we will not do business again with Norm Reeve's Honda and we will not be recommending this business to family or friends. more

Great new car buying experience at Norm Reeves Honda 5/11/2011

Went to buy a new 2012 Honda Civic Ex sedan. Got an internet price from Mark Nelson, and everything went just great. The 2012 model has only been out a couple of weeks, so the best price I could get was ""good"" -- no reason to cut me too good a deal for their brand new model. Even so, we still got a price below MSRP for a new model that just came out that month (same as the Costco price I was given during my car shopping).\r \r As it turned out, the car we were buying was sold while we were filling out the paperwork, and the other one they had in the same color/model had a dealer package added on. YET, they sold me the other one with the extra package for the same price! Now that is great customer service! Mark Nelson was great to work with, as was the finance guy, Gary Curry (no hard selling, and a really great financing rate). A very pleasant experience indeed.\r \r \r more

I had the most pleasant experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. Not only was the salesperson, George Habib, very friendly and helpful, without being aggressive, but the negotiations (which are fraught with tension at many dealerships) were equally cordial. The sales personnel were patient as I weighed the various options, and everyone was knowledgeable and clear in providing me the information I needed to feel comfortable making a substantial investment. I felt I received a very fair deal, and once the deal was made, the process of completing paperwork and arranging financing was very efficient. I was quite impressed with Norm Reeves Honda Superstore. Thanks again George Habib, I am very happy with my New Honda Civic. \r more

I am so, so happy with my Honda; and I am hard to please. I looked and did my research, but couldn't find a car, until I saw the Honda. I was so surpised that Tom Simons, along with his wife Lore Simons, were very, helpful and made the car shopping process less stressful and that much more pleasant. Norm Reeves dealership should be so proud to have this couple as their representatives. I'm definitely glad that I chose Honda. more

More than Expected! 2/20/2011

I truly appreciate my sales person, Linda Ly, because she did more than what she have to. There was one time when it was only the second week, I was driving around my brand new car and I got locked out of the car accidentally. It was on a weekend so most of my friends was out and I realized that all of my keys are inside the car. Then I remembered that Linda (my car dealer) told me that if there is ever anything, again she emphasized on ""anything"", that I could call her up. So, I called her around 8 PM and she was still working at that time. I told her the situation and she immediately decided to come to where I was, which was probably around 20 minutes away, and called her road assistance membership to come. When she arrived to my location, the road assistant came in less than 10 minutes and opened my car in less than 3 minutes. Without her, I would panicked really bad and nothing will be resolved because I would not be able to think clearly. Rewind a little bit before that event to when I was picking up my brand new car. I was buying a black car, and thought that I could pick it up in the morning but there were some things that came up and so Linda had to wait for me until the late afternoon. The car was all prepared nicely but since I came in late, there was a layer of dust covering it. I felt bad because it was my fault that I was late and didn't tell her earlier. However, there's this one dealer guy passing by and commented about my car. He said it was nice and noticed the layer of dust and unexpectedly, he offer my car to be car washed again! I was so excited about it and totally added the great overall experience. Lastly and probably the most important is that the price that I got for my brand new car is unbeatable. I did my research and after what I have experienced, I really recommend all of you to go for this dealer since they have a big garage, which means they would have more selections available. I am very satisfied with this car dealer because of their service that they do more than required. more

Excellent Customer Service 1/24/2011

The sales rep Jose Bolivar was extremely knowledgable about the various cars in Norm Reeves inventory. After test driving various cars, Jose Bolivar clearly explained the many cars and their options which made our selection process even easier, I never thought buying a car could be so easy! The negotiation process was smooth I got the car at a great price which fit my budget. Two thumbs up for Norm Reeves and three thumbs up for Jose Bolivar!!! more

A great car buying experience from start to finish. I was relocating to LA from NYC and had reached out to several dealerships, and Norm Reeves corresponded with me over about 10 days prior to moving offering both the best price by $2,000-3,000 and the best communication despite the long distance. I had worked with Adil Khan (sales) and Mucio Sanchez (financing). Both were friendly, knowledgeable, honest and made things very easy. The dealership is huge. I can't imagine what cars they did not have on their lot. A great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended! more

I received the best service from Marc Lee (sales) and Ryan from financing! I walked in needing a used, reliable car ASAP! I was in and out in less than 3 hours! I received top notch service and was treated in a professional manner. Marc even waited until the financing process was completed to make sure everything went smoothly. And he even followed up the following day to make sure I was still pleased. Out of all of the cars that I have purchased over the years, this was the best experience to date. Thanks! more

INCREDIBLE BUYING EXPERIENCE 1/4/2011

We purchased a Honda Civic. This is my third Honda in a row. Ms. Ly was our salesperson. She was awesome! Ms. Ly helped with everything, she had good product knowledge and she was very professional and kind. The entire staff at Norm Reeves made this an incredible experience purchasing the new Honda. Usually I dont do this but I felt to write and express my views about Normreeves. I was very skeptical about buying a new car so I did my research and compare quotesI visited few dealerships. After visiting few dealerships I was ready to make my decision. I read lot of good reviews about Normreeves and was contacted by MR Khan. He is very knowledgeable and know his stuff very well. He explained me all my available options over the phone and I felt very confident about my decision. When I arrived at the dealership paperwork was ready and car was detailed. It was very simple straightforward, and no B.S.I was out of the dealership in a timely manner and was very happy with my purchase. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to this dealership. This is a Costco of cars where they have a huge selections but very simple and straightforward transction throught Internet Department. more
