We just had Neerings rewire my Mom's whole house and install a new A/C unit. I had 5 estimates done from 5 different companies on the rewire. My mom and I met with all the differe...

My sewer line was broken under the street. I understand that it would be a 4 or 5 thousand dollar job to tear up the street, replace the line, and then put the pavement and gutte...

We have seen so much of each other-were now like family. It has been a long stretch, Hooray, the furnace seems to be running right now and it is keeping is comfortable. Thank you all you are appreciated. We are now ready for winter. Again, thank you. more

Abusive Sales Practices! 3/3/2011

Unethical, Overpriced, and RUDE!!! Neerings charged $600 to replace a $14 part that took them 30 minutes to install! My spouse did not know how outrageous this was and went ahead with the service because we had no hot water in the house and two little kids. When I returnd home from a stay in the hospital I called them to disucss and they would not even talk to me. The owner said, "we know what it costs to make a profit in this business..." more

Worst Company Ever!! 3/3/2011

Neerings plumbing is a complete rip off!!! Please tell all your friends and family to NEVER use them! They are over priced and unresaonable. Oh but they have nice service people - big whoop! They should be nice making $300 an hour!!! A small replacement part that took them 30 minutes to install on my water heater (that they sold me 5 year prior) cost me $600. I will never use this company again! more

The WORST company ever!!! 3/2/2011

Do NOT use these guys! They are overpriced, arrogant, unfeeling jerks! more

I will for sure you Neering's again. 2/28/2011

Dwayne Barker was a very nice man to have as a Tech. I will for sure you Neering's again. more

Waaaaaaay overpriced. 2/25/2011

I was quoted $593.00 to replace my kitchen garage disposal that I provided and paid for. That is insane! Garbage disposals are easy to put in but I am very short on time and wanted to have the convenience of a professional installation. Don't get me wrong the service technician that came out to give me a bid was very friendly and professional but the price he quoted me out of his pricing book was just simply outrageous. After watching a tutorial on youtube I ended up putting in the disposal by myself in less than 30 minutes. Did I mention I have never put one in before and I'm female. Take my advice and save yourself some money and don't use this company. Recently I saw an ad for a competitor for a disposal install for 189.99 including the disposal. I paid $140 for just my disposal from homedeopt so that is a really great deal! This place is a joke. more

Thank you so much Neering's 2/22/2011

Me and my family want to thank you for your help in fixing our furnace. We appreciate that you came out and actually checked it out, cleaning it out and replaced the needed part. The furnace works and we have heat for our house. Thank you for doing all this for no charge . more

Bad Business 2/15/2011

I had a shower valve, pipe and faucet replaced. Neerings charged me $1800.00. Be careful if you use them. Their charges are about 5 times what other plumbers would bid. We were under time constraints and they really took advantage of us. They do not specify on the invoice what the itemized amount is- They do not want to give an explanation why their bid is so inflated. . I found out the materials for our project cost them about $340.00. The labor turned out to be $300.00/hr. I was so angry. They have not offered to work with me, even though the information that the service man, Cody, gave them was not accurate. I feel cheated. Do your homework. I would not use them ever again. more

Completely overpriced, and rude to boot 2/10/2011

First of all, take a look at all of the positive reviews for Neerings carefully. Click on the name of the reviewer and look at their other reviews - it's quite obvious a service that gets paid to provide good reviews for businesses. Some of the reviewers appear to have purchased 5 or 6 cars in different states all in one month. In one case they made over a hundred reviews in one day from all over the country.\r \r Also note that none of the positive reviews have any kind of detail about the experience or work performed. It's very interesting.\r \r I was ripped off by Neerings on a simple plumbing job. I had them out to quote the replacement of a water heater, and figured while they were there I would have them re-route a 3 foot section of ABS drain pipe. It needed to be moved because of a cabinet remodel.\r \r They were already there and it was a simple job so I never even asked the price. I figured they would ding me for an hour of labor. Oh no, they price everything flat rate. The bill was $600 - for 30 minutes of work and about $2.00 worth of parts.\r \r Keep in mind they were there to provide a bid for another job - what a great impression to make!\r \r Then the best part came - the bid to replace the water heater. Keep in mind that the flue, water lines and gas line are already installed. They just needed to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. The quote was for $1,800! I was told it would take the better part of the morning to complete. When pressed for how long, the tech finally said it would be about 2 hours. \r \r I asked how they could charge $900/hr for labor when I was supplying all of the parts. He said they don't charge by the hour, just by the job. That way, there's no ""hidden charges"" later. Swell! \r \r I ended up having an independent plumber install it for $250. more

NEVER, EVER HIRE NEERINGS!!! 1/26/2011

I am VERY dissatisfied with Neerings' service and would NEVER recommend them. They charged me $180 to make turn a few knobs and switches on my furnaces and water heater. I was under the impression that ""servicing"" the furnaces meant cleaning and or replacing minor components. Instead, the service rep spent 75% of his time in his truck writing up estimates for future work orders. When I called the manager to complain and ask to adjust the charge down he wouldn't listen and kept interrupting me. They are crooks! NEVER, NEVER hire them!!!!! more

Will use for future work 1/11/2011

Will definitely use Neering's and Kody for future work more
