Although quick to respond, their prices are outrageous. They do not charge a premium for after hours, weekends or holidays, however their pre-printed prescribed charges are generally more than what other companies will charge for these overtime type calls. To auger a toilet: $240.00; Clear a jammed disposal: $212.00; Replace the disposal: $850.00-1,600.00; Replace a toilet tank fill valve: $341.00. (This I have done several times myself for about $25.00 in approx 30 minutes.) There are many good plumbing companies in the area that will give you as good or better service for a lot better price. more

I agree with W.H. Neerings is really expensive. My furnace wouldn't turn on and I ruled out the thermostat because while it wouldn't activate the furnace when I raised the temperature, it would activate the furnace if I raised the temperature and then pushed a button to ""lock"" the temperature so the furnace would run continually and not turn off. The technician connected a meter to my furnace and quickly determined the furnace was ok so the problem had to be my thermostat. When I called for service, I was quoted a $49 trip charge which would be credited towards the cost of any labor that was necessary. I had a choice of two thermostats, one for $393 or one for $449 and $49 to install. Thinking the price for thermostats had increased since 2004 I was about to make a selection when a visiting daughter and her husband talked me out of it. I bought a $79 thermostat at Lowe's and installed it my self. The technician not only charged me the $49 for the trip charge but an additional $40 for the 10 minutes it took to read the meter that he connected to my furnace. Last year they gave me a furnace tune up for $89 but that wasn't included in the $89 this trip. $393 for a thermostat? Really? more

Came home from work at 230 Saturday and it was raining cats and dogs in our basement. A frozen pipe had burst the fitting and we had ourselves a gusher. Having never experienced anything like this in the past, Nick came and provided my wife and I an education as well as quickly fixed the pipe. Nick was exceptionally courteous and kind and quickly went about his work. The pipe was fixed in a jiffy and Nick was off. Nick was awesome. Thanks more

OMG are these guys expensive....On time and nice guys but watch out for their pricing. Requested pricing for a 30 foot gas line to be installed to a unit garage heater. Maximum two hours labor and maybe $100 in parts.....their price....$1771.00...unbelievable...had the work done the next day by a great local plumbing company in Park City for $508.00...same exact job with same exact parts, same license and same insurance.....beware of this company unless you do not care what you spend! more

Neerings Plumbing & Heating is extremely overpriced. We're just glad we went no further with them after our rental house tenants called them and expected us to pay any price they charged. Nope! An inspection charge of $41 to state the obvious and another $100 to cut out a small section of drywall to expose a very small leak was bad enough, but when they wanted to charge around $700 for a simple repair...we told them to leave. The actual repair was done much cheaper. Their service may be good, but their prices are way too high. more

Dave was just here. He moved my washer, and I think he probably fixed what caused the leaking window in the (under construction) bathroom. I love you guys! Dave did an awesome job on the electric, Phil did a fabulous job on all of the new plumbing and sewer line, and Eric did an excellent job on all of the sewer work outside! You guys ROCK! more

After having our pipes in our house making a terrible banging sound I finally called Neerings Plumbing to come find the cause. They sent a great young man who was clean, efficient and he made the sound go away. Thanks, Neerings we can enjoy quiet again. And he even wore booties! more

We had a swamp cooler that was 30 years old that started leaking. A Technician from Neerings came to our door to help us. He found that the cooler was rusted out and needed to be replaced. After much discussion, we decided to replace it with an air conditioner. To our surprise they could do it that day. The technician was quick, clean and treated us great . I would recommend Neerings to a friend! more

The annual furnace check was done today by Dwayne Barker. He's very personable and does an excellent job of explaining just why the heating system needs his care -- and our care. We appreciate his expertise and feel confident that freezing temperatures won't bring any unpleasant surprises to our home this year. Thanks Dwayne! more
