great service 8/19/2010

My husband and I moved to Dallas a few weeks ago and found the moving company we used, american van lines through nationwide. Kevin, our contact was very professional, and he made sure to keep us informed throughout the entire process. We made it very clear that we would not be there on the actual moving day, that my mother would be taking care of it. He made sure that everything went perfect. He worked with our budget and our belongings arrived safe and on time. I was very pleased with the the services they provided us - and the movers who performed the move did an excellent job. Pros: Reliable, Affordable more

Would Definitely Recommend Nationwide 8/17/2010

I contacted Nationwide Relocation Services for a move from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Chicago, IL, and I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. The rep I worked with was courteous and professional, he immediately connected to the moving company that would be helping me move, which was United States Van Lines. I had a group of movers who were a big help throughout the whole process - they managed the my entire move all the way without any complaints. Their help was more than I could have asked for. I have a lot of valuable antiques, but they made sure that no detail went unnoticed. Everything arrived on time and no item was broken or damaged. I really appreciate their hard-work and professionalism, and would definitely recommend Nationwide Relocation Services to anyone. I couldn't be more please to have worked with them. Richard more

Supreme Service from Nationwide Relocation 8/16/2010

I moved from my home in Florida into a condo in Dallas, TX on May 7, 2010. I was recommended by a close friend to use Nationwide Relocation Services. At first I was skeptical after reading all the reviews, but I am truly glad I chose to work with them. When I called the rep was extremely helpful and professional. They immediately referred me to American Van Lines, the actual company who would be helping me move. On my moving day, the two movers who assisted me were a tremendous help, and their names are Eddie Robinson and Derrick Jones. They made all the necessary arrangements with ease; and took care of my move every step of the way. They completed the job perfectly and on time. I truly appreciate the excellent service I received from both Nationwide Relocation Services and American Van Lines. I would definitely recommend them. Melody more

Excellent movers 8/2/2010

I was really impressed with their professionalism. All of my furniture made it in a single piece with no damages. I was initially very skeptic about nationwide because of the negative reviews, but I am glad that I went with nationwide. The general moving company they hired did a great job right from pickup to delivery. more

Worst moving company in the nation 7/4/2010

Nationwide Relocation is full of cheaters, blackmailers, and dishonest people. The more you will talk to their supervisors. You will find you are talking with a more professional liar. In the team of these criminals. They will laugh on your helplessness. \r Initially these agents will talk to you so respectfully and then when the moving time will come, you will be doubtful if you dialed the same number. \r \r They blackmailed me at the last moment by increasing the price 33% even before coming. These are agents. They never had the mover but keep blackmailing by stating if you want a mover, agree to more money, if not , your deposit will go away. \r I am impressed by the fact that, these criminals are still in the business, even cheating hundreds of consumers. Every review is 100% correct. \r \r I am cheated by Nationwide relocation Services. They kept my deposit of $715.46 and did not give me services. They asked me more money on the last moment when I refused to pay more money. They kept my deposit. \r I hired Nationwide in 1st week of June for the moving date of June 25 from Atlanta, GA to Lexington, KY. The Nationwide agent Mr. Freddy, the nationwide agent confirmed that that movers will come on 25 or 26 and everything was included including packing material, packing service, mileage, gas, toll, shuttle charges etc. When I read the contract and asked about different legal term. Freddy said this does not apply to you . Then I emailed him stating we talked about these terms and let me know, if anything is not correct from our discussion. I called him and confirmed it was received. He confirmed everything was correct and there will not be any hidden charges, \r Now the moving window time came, some moving company called on June 24 mornings and told me that they are calling on behalf of Nationwide and will come and pick the stuff on June 25. Nobody came, Then again on the same day; another local mover on Nationwide’s behalf called and said, he will come on 26 afternoons. Then he told me that he will charge extra $365 for Atlanta Shuttle and also 365 for Lexington Shuttle.\r I was threatened that if I will not be paying the stated shuttle charges, movers will not come and deposit will be fortified. \r After calling/leaving messages to several people and ultimately on June 28, their Manager, MS Cicely she will get me moving without shuttle charges, but moving date will be June 30. If I will not agree to that, my deposit will be fortified.\r As promised delivery deadline was on June 28.They called me after 2 days of promised pick up date and told me that will move me without shuttle charges, the pick up date will be on June 30th and delivery will be after 3 days. If I will not agree for these days, my deposit $715,46 will be gone. They cheated and blackmailed me at the last moment and called me after several days of promised move date when I was already moved by another career. I had to hire another company urgently and paid $4500 for this emergency move. Pros: unique, consistent in lying , cheating, dishonesty Cons: cheaters more

I would recommend them 5/8/2010

We used them to move from White Plains NY to Chicago IL, October 2009. Between myself and my kid's things, it was insane trying to pack. So we used Nationwide, Peter was my contact. I didnt realize they were not the movers at first but they delivered what they said. The moving company showed up a day earlier than I requested but everything worked out in the end. We moved with no major issues. more

Worst Company/Vendor Ever User 4/5/2010

I work with a large corporation that offers relocation often as part of an offer agreement. And, in all the moves we've done, across the US, this is the absolutely worse experience I've ever had, not only with moving companies, but any Company or vendor I've ever dealt with. \r \r From shady business dealings, like out and out lying, to just horrible, immature, and shady customer service, like not picking up the phone when I call from a number they recognize, to just be put on hold for 20 minutes + only to call from a different number they've never seen and get assistance immediately. \r \r I do not have the time or space to detail all of the trouble we, as a large corporation moving a new employee, had with this Company and their vendors from the very beginning. Even now, well after the items have been dropped off, we are still battling.\r \r BE AWARE, and go with ANY moving company other than this 3rd party service. Absolutely the lowest and most corrupt vendor I've ever dealt with, in any vertical. Pros: Nothing- Sleezy and Sneaky from beginning to end Cons: Everything.lies, ""binding"" contracts that they altered more

Living a nightmare b/c of Nationwide 3/16/2010

My husband, 11 month old and I were transfered across the country because he is active duty military. Our items were picked up 6 weeks ago and the moving company hired by Nationwide showed up late, with only 3 people to pack our huge house. The truck they brought was not big enough even though we told our moving rep Shane Young that we needed a full size semi and at 10pm that night the garage was still full but so was the little truck they brought. They said all our stuff would eventually make it to NJ to be consolidated and then it would ship to Alaska. Our arrival window at our new location was supposed to be mid March. Well, it is now mid March and the company they hired (Cross Country Van Lines) is bankrupt and has abandoned our stuff in a warehouse they rented. Nationwide has known about this for over a month and their only response (when they respond to our calls and cries for help) is that they are working on it. All of their excuses for our items still being in the warehouse are moot at this point and we have no option but to conclude they are too cheap to shell out the money for a reputable moving company to do the right thing and get our stuff to us ASAP. I can't understand how these people can sleep at night. My husband unexpectedly deployed overseas and I am left in Alaska with my baby and no home, no furniture and no honest answers. My husband is fighting for our country and shouldn't be worrying about his family or the belongings he worked his whole life for. Please Nationwide, make this right and hire a new company to bring our stuff to us. Pros: Nationwide deserves negative stars Cons: Negligent, rude, unprofessional, dishonest company more

Nationwide Relocation services did a great job from start to 2/22/2010

I recently moved from Ft lauderdale Florida to Long Beach california and i must say the experience was unexpected. I received a call from Steve Eagle over at Nationwide who took inventory of what i was moving and gave me a price over the phone. I ended up going into the office to sign my paper work and i must say its not what i expected, it was a nice office building (very professional). My final balance was also less than what was quoted. thank you guys very much.\r Pros: Professional more
