This dealers sales game is a huge waste of time for most people who know what they want and the price they should pay. I searched their website and it said they have 7 Red Mazda6...

Fantastic Dealership! 1/26/2011

I was searching for a used car and I kept trying to decide whether to buy a car from an individual or a dealership. I kept hearing that prices at dealerships are high and it's usually cheaper to buy from an individual. However, when I visited Oak Lawn Mazda the sales staff presented many different cars to me that met my budget and they were actually more affordable than I imagined. I managed to get a really good deal and 2 weeks after my purchase I?m still very satisfied with it. more

Fantastic Service Department 1/20/2011

After shopping around for a good service department, my friends finally recommended Oak Lawn Mazda to me. I was expecting their prices for repairs to be very high but I was quite surprised with the rates they were charging. The rates for their repairs are extremely affordable and the staff at the service department is friendly and they look to accommodate your car, even when it’s short-notice. I was quite impressed with Oak Lawn Mazda and plan on going back there in the future. more

Happy with their Service 1/17/2011

I?ve been servicing my car at Oak Lawn Mazda?s repair shop for a little over a year now, and I am always greeted by the same, friendly customer service. The thing I like most about Oak Lawn Mazda is that you can always rely on them to help you out when you are having car trouble. I?ve almost never had any trouble bringing my car in during some emergency. The only drawback is that sometimes you need to wait awhile to have your car looked at, but the customer service and the fair pricing makes up for it. more

Will Definitely Come Back Here 12/30/2010

I was looking for a pre-owned Mazda 6 and went a bunch of dealerships before coming to Oak Lawn Mazda. I'm glad I did since they were able to offer me the best deal out of all the other dealerships. I got exactly what I was looking for at the price I had in mind. The customer service was great and the application process was smooth and simple. Will definitely come back here for my next purchase. more

Recommend Coming Here 12/29/2010

I had a great experience buying my new Mazda 6 from Oak Lawn Mazda. This dealership was referred to me by a friend of mine who recently purchased his car from them and I totally agree with his claim that their customer service is impressive. I was able to get the options I wanted within budget and the warranty came at a great price as well. Overall, I'll definitely recommend coming here if you're interested in buying a new/used Mazda. more

Reasonable Prices 12/28/2010

I noticed over the past couple of months that my Miata was going through a bumpy ride, so I took my car to Oak Lawn Mazda to get the shocks replaced. I was expecting the repair to be expensive, however, the amount they quoted was definitely reasonable and they did a great job finishing the job as well. I had to wait a day to get the car back but I'm happy to recommend this dealership?s repair shop to anyone - they truly know how to do their job well! more

Two thumbs up! 11/25/2010

The Mazda CX-9 seemed like a great vehicle for me, since my friends and I often go on camping and road trips. From the reviews I heard, it seemed like a solid, stable vehicle for outdoor excursions. I went to Oak Lawn Mazda from a recommendation I got from my friend and sure enough, he was right about their staff ? they really know their stuff! I mentioned to the sales representative on how I needed the car for trips and the sales rep was able to point out all the features that would compliment that. At any rate I was sold on the car because of the price it came at, but the customer service made me believe that I could really depend on this dealership for selling me a good car. Two thumbs up! more

Great Staff and Service 11/12/2010

I was having a difficult time deciding between the Honda Civic and a MazdaSpeed3. I initially arranged an appointment with Oak Lawn Mazda to test-drive the car and ended up staying much longer than expected! When I first entered the dealership I thought I was going to be disappointed, as it took a while for a representative to approach me. I was pleasantly surprised, however, at how quickly my test-drive was booked and how knowledgeable the sales representative was. He was able to make detailed comparisons of both the cars I was interested in and give me pricing comparisons as well. I was happy with the service and decided on the MazdaSpeed3 in the end. more

Great experience overall! 10/20/2010

I was interested in purchasing a Mazda 5, mainly because I was looking for a reasonably priced minivan. Went to Oak Lawn Mazda to to try it out and I was greeted almost immediately as I walked in. My sales representative was a nice guy, but it took quite a while before I got a chance to test-drive the car. After doing some comparison shopping at other dealers, I decided to buy from Oak Lawn Mazda. The paperwork and negotiation was surprisingly a smooth process. Great experience overall! more

Great service 9/30/2010

I had a great experience buying my car from Oak Lawn Mazda. Went for a Mazda RX-7 and got a great deal on the price. The staff is pleasant at this dealership and they really know how to take good care of their customers. I'll have no problems referring people to this place. Great service! more

Reliable Staff 9/23/2010

I was buying my son a new car for his graduation and took him to Oak Lawn Mazda as I had previously bought my own CX-9 from there. The staff has always been reliable and friendly. My son was happy with the purchase we made (a pre-owned Mazda 3) and was extremely grateful to our sales representative for showing him around his new car. Fantastic service, I’ll definitely recommend these guys. more

Made the difference! 9/16/2010

I was debating whether to buy the Kia Sedona or the Mazda 5, and my experience at Oak Lawn Mazda made all the difference. My sales rep did a great pros and cons analysis and explained the difference between the two cars well. He also worked out a better price plan for the car compared to what I had received from other dealerships. I was completely sold and I was very pleased with the customer service. more

I was pleased with the service 8/24/2010

The experience I had at Oak Lawn Mazda was great. I was interested in checking out a Mazda CX-9 after the number of great reviews I had heard about that car. I was surprised to see how knowledgeable the sales person at Oak Lawn Mazda was and he was quick to make comparisons to other SUV?s and explain how the CX-9 was better on different levels. The sales person was honest and made me feel confident of my decision to buy the car. I'll definitely recommend this dealer. more

Great 1st impression 8/24/2010

When my Mazda6 was acting up and the performance felt sluggish, I took my car to Oak Lawn Mazda’s service department. I was impressed with their customer service. My sparks were replaced at a reasonable price and I didn’t have any problems with my car after the repair. The wait time wasn't too long either. My first impression at Oak Lawn Mazda was great, and I plan on coming back here in the future. more

Satisfied with service 8/17/2010

If you need to get your car fixed or if you need a regular check-up, I highly recommend Oak Lawn Mazda dealership simply because of the great service and the price it comes at. I?ve taken my car here several times. They fix your car earlier than expected and also take the time to explain a few things you can do at home to maintain your car before the next check up. The staff really cares about the customers and always makes sure that they are happy with the service ? I definitely am. Two thumbs-up! more

Satisfied with service 7/30/2010

My Mazda's break pads had worn off completely and I needed to get them replaced asap. I wanted to take my car to a Mazda dealership but was hesitant about dealer pricing. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable Oak Lawn Mazda was. I took my car in and it was fixed up within hours. Very satisfied with the service. more

NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!! 7/26/2010

Worst experience of my life!!!\r \r First off when I got down there wasnt a sales person to be found eventually one was on his way out for a smoke break and after lighting up asked us if we needed help(completely unprofessional) When we described the car we saw online he told us that it had been sold. So we asked to see another one after test driving two I decided on the right one. \r \r There entire negotiating process took 5 HOURS! I told them what I could afford and they insisted on trying to make me spend more. Even asking the person with me to add in money!! Not only did that take forever they refused to answer a question directly they kept trying to go off onto another subject!\r \r This dealership is completely shady and will do anything to scam an extra dollar! NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!! more

SCAM. Bait and switch! 7/25/2010

The worst experience of our lives. We went looking for a CX-7. After driving an hour, of course the one online was just sold. Our needs were simple, CX-7, AWD, lowest miles possible. We stated our needs up front and the salesman even wrote them down on a spec. sheet. We drove another one that met our needs and liked it. The only problem was there was a huge defect in the door like someone tried to pry it open and break in. We decided that we didn't want to buy a car that needed body work. The salesman and his manager saw a sale slipping away and told us that there was another CX-7 that was "comparable" and had what we needed and just had a few more miles on it. So we decided to check it out. We drove it, liked it, and after three hours of waiting and typical salesmen pitches and problems, bought it. After the hour drive home, we started looking deeper into the car. Not only was the antenna missing, the door for the fuse panel was missing and worst of all, the car was NOT AWD. I immedia more

Scammed and cheated 7/25/2010

The worst experience of our lives. We went looking for a CX-7. After driving an hour, of course the one online was just sold. Our needs were simple, CX-7, AWD, lowest miles possible. We stated our needs up front and the salesman even wrote them down on a spec. sheet. We drove another one that met our needs and liked it. The only problem was there was a huge defect in the door like someone tried to pry it open and break in. We decided that we didn't want to buy a car that needed body work. The salesman and his manager saw a sale slipping away and told us that there was another CX-7 that was ""comparable"" and had what we needed and just had a few more miles on it. I immediately called the salesman and told him. He acted surprised and asked when we could come back in. Our next available time for the hour drive was Monday, two days later. Monday we called and were told that we would be working with General Manager Mike Z. to resolve the issue. After about five calls to Mike Z., he called us back around 4pm. He was unaware of the details of the situation and had to ""look into it."" I told him that I wanted to iron out the details so we could just come in and switch cars and not spend all day there. He said that there was no way we could get in the other car if we wanted the door fixed. We thought about it and called Mike Z back. We were willing to take the car and fix the door ourselves, to avoid adding cost. After three days of trying to speak to Mike Z. again, he told us that, ""We never represented that car as AWD so we are not at fault."" He also added that we could switch cars back to the one with the defect but the payments would definitely go up, even without them fixing the door. We let Mike Z. and our salesman know that we were coming in to speak with them and resolve this. We were told that they open at 9, our salesman would come in and Mike Z. would be there at 1130. We arrived at 10, our salesman never showed. Julian, another manager said that Mike Z. was delayed and would be there around noon. At 1230 we were told that Mike Z. wouldn't be coming in until about two. We left without a resolution. The next day we got a call from the corporate office, saying there would be no problem trading for the AWD car. When we finally got a hold of Mike Z., (a day later), he said that we could come in and pay a three hundred dollar restocking fee and the payments would still go up. Frustrated and tired of trying to convince someone to own up to their mistake, we stayed with the front wheel version. After five days of arguing, about fifty calls to the dealership with only about three finding someone, multiple calls to the corporate office, who also were unable to reach Mike Z. after multiple attempts, and one evasive Mike Z., we were defeated by liars who were unwilling to compromise or accommodate. The entire time they proudly declared that they were not at fault for this happening and were ""Not interested in buying the car back because its not financially sound for the company"". Unbelievable. So now, we are planning on taking the car to the local dealer and trading it for the one we want. To add to their deceptive ways I went online and looked up the AWD version we tried tirelessly to get. In person, the defect in the door is impossible to miss. The metal is pried out almost a full inch. However, the photos of the car online show no defect whatsoever from multiple angles. We are now following up with corporate and the BBB. This dealer is dishonest. If anyone would like more information on the dealership or the people we interacted with please contact me. I'll be happy to share. Cons: Arrogant, dishonest. more

Got my CX-7 from here 7/21/2010

Getting my new Mazda CX-7 couldn?t have been easier! People at Oak Lawn Mazda were great to work with. Extremely knowledgeable about all the cars in the showroom and helpful enough to go through all the features with me. In addition to that, I was able customize my SUV with a new navigation system which I love. I definitely recommend this branch to anyone looking for a Mazda SUV. The sales reps always make sure to find something that is within your budget and complimentary to your lifestyle. more
