Client for more than 10 years 1/11/2009

After more than 10 years as a client of Muscle Mechanics I can truly say that it is always fun and different. It's amazing how many ways they come-up with to work the various muscle groups and protect against injury. Every client gets an entirely different work out, it's totally customized to the individual. Sometimes new clients are a little shy but before long they are really enjoying themselves. The trainers at Muscle Mechanics are great motivators! Best Fitness Experience in Houston 1/9/2009

When I first signed up at Muscle Mechanics, I expected something similar to the garden variety fitness chains that have sprung up evrywhere. I was pleasantly surprised by the surroundings and the personal interest that the trainers take. The trainers truly customize the workouts to suit the needs of each individual and they are careful to take note of problems or issues that arise from the workouts. It's a very friendly environment and I would strongly recomment Muscle Mechanics to anyone in search of a great workout experience. more

The trainers at Muscle Mechanics are great. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They answer all my questions, explain everything I'm doing and never talk down to you. The exercise plans are well structured and paced to my ability. These guys do personal training so much better than any other place I've gone. I look forward to my sessions at Muscle Mechanics.\r \r I am a 40 something overweight IT professional. Great Trainers! 12/17/2008

I have been a client of Muscle Mechanics for about a year. I hired John to assist me with a rehab program after an injury. I?ve continued the program to improve my overall health and fitness. I?ve been pleased with all of his help and guidance. The workout plans vary from each session and are always fresh and new. I actually look forward to our sessions and seriously doubt that I would continue on my own for the long haul. I?ve worked with several trainers (John, Andy, and Jerrald). Everyone is dedicated, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They explain what we are doing and why. They consistently provide motivation and challenge me at each session. I like the private setting and personal attention. These guys really know how to get results. My last routine doctor visit noted an improvement in my overall health ? improved lab results and cholesterol levels. Most Effective Workout You'll Ever Have 12/17/2008

Prior to joining Muscle Mechanics last year, I had difficulty staying on a consistent workout plan and felt like I was ""spinning my wheels"" at the gym with very little to show for it. My personal trainer, Brandon, has developed a customized training program based on what I need to work on and that is always evolving as I get stronger and more physically fit. Moreover, we are able to accomplish more in a single 30 minute workout at Muscle Mechanics than in an entire month working out at my old gym on my own. Brandon is also able to tie in weight training with cardio and nutritional advice in order to most effectively accomplish my health goals. 18 months of fun, fit, fabulous and counting! John, David and the MM team have kept the gym a joy for this exercise-phobic gal. I got (and have stayed) in great shape! \r \r Going is a pleasure. The location is great and the intimate setting is ideal for people who want a personal, fitness-focused experience and not a see-and-be-seen gym-rat scene. For years I spent a lot of money for gyms I never felt like going to. \r \r Ever look at a photo of yourself and cringe? Know what it feels like to see a photo of yourself and think ""I look GREAT!""? I do! \r \r Call the guys for a chat or stop by and take a peek. I would like to commend John Aaron and his staff of professional trainers for their collective efforts in making this a gym worth joining. I have been training at Muscle Mechanics for 2 years, and I have been impressed with not only my own personal results, but with the positive attitude of the trainers, the personal approach to my well-being, the recommendations from both a nutritional and workout perspective, and the overall facilities, which are excellent. Personal Training for Everyone! 12/12/2008

Coming to Muscle Mechanics was a very smart decision because I learned how to exercise for the first time in my life. The trainers are excellent at explaining how to perform all exercises and showing which muscle groups are affected. The trainers also make you feel welcome and are very encouraging. I never once felt uncomfortable at Muscle Mechanics since I have been training there. I look forward to continuing my training there because I know they will help me reach my goals! more

Truly Personal Training 12/10/2008

I've been going to Muscle Mechanics for the past 6 months, and couldn't imagine using any other personal trainer. After a few years of being out of a training, or even really regular workout routine, an old friend called up and challenged me to do some mountain climbing. I immediately had to find a strong training routine, and knew I could never pull something like that off myself. Looking around for personal trainers, I found that the local big gym chains just didn't cut it. Then I found Muscle Mechanics.\r \r John's team at Muscle Mechanics is just plain top-notch. I started with an incredibly honest and realistic fit assessment and started on a personal training regimen specifically tailored to getting me into shape to climb right off the bat. Andy and David are by far the best trainers I could imagine - they are actually interested in my personal progress and making each training session something to move me forward to my goals. \r \r This is the first time in YEARS that I've actually really LIKED going to the gym and working out. By far, it's due to Andy and David as my trainers - they make the workouts fun and we laugh as hard as they make me work out most days. Throughout the gym there is a massive camaraderie with all the trainers and all the clients.\r \r They know when to push to get me to the next level, and keep reinforcing and reminding me of how to make the best out of the workouts even out of the gym. They are creative in their exercises and workouts - and are REALLY great at explaining why each of these sets and motions are effective. \r \r The best part is that not only the trainers I work with, but the other trainers in the gym know me and all the other clients; everyone is engaged in getting all of their clients to reach their goals. \r \r If you want a truly personal personal trainer, then you HAVE to go to Muscle Mechanics and have Andy and David get you into shape! I have been working out at Muscle Mechanics for 6 years. The facility is great and conveniently located but the people are what make the place great. I have worked with several of the trainers and they are always willing to design a workout program that meets your goals. If it is to build muscle or simply stay in shape they work with you. Muscle Mechanics is a great place for people interested in a truly personal training experience. One on one instruction is all they do, whatever your level of fitness is or goals are. It is a comfortable and supportive environment with dedicated and competent trainers, with a ""Cheers"" like atmosphere where everyone knows your name. Earlier this year when I decided to get serious about my health and appearance I didn't know where to begin. I decided to follow in the footsteps of a friend who has had wonderful success with Muscle Mechanics. I am so glad that I took the big step and became a member of the Muscle Mechanics family. Simply, they are great! A very professional approach to my goals with not only a dedicated personal trainer but also a user friendly online nutrition program which helps to keep me on track. I'm thirty pounds lighter and I feel great as I continue on towards success and a healthier life. Best Trainers Around 10/15/2008

I have been a member for 15 months. The program that we worked out together has made an incredible difference in my health and physical appearance. The focus of the staff is on continuous improvement and challenging you to exceed your expectations. I am extremely pleased with the program and the results. Best personal training in town! 10/14/2008

By your second visit to Muscle Mechanics, everybody knows your name. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet the staff is intentional about the purpose--health and fitness. Every trainer is interested in the progress of every Muscle Mechanics client--not just his own. They're all very well-trained and are serious about establishing a program for each client based on the individual's needs and goals. Every single one of the trainers is respectful, encouraging, conscientious, attentive, punctual, professional, polite, fun--and fit! And the facility--wow!--is cleaner than my house (may I remain anonymous?)--they even iron the towels, really, I've seen this! The gym is small yet very well equipped and there's no waiting for machines. And, speaking of machines, the trainers not only show you how to use them properly but teach you exercises that you can do at home without expensive equipment. The noise level is low enough that you can actually hear the TV while doing your cardio on a treadmill (if you want to--the clients get to decide WHETHER and WHAT to watch). They're always willing to work with you when you need to reschedule. And, most important, they give full time and attention during workout sessions. I previously had a personal trainer at one of the large chain gyms who not only answered his cell phone during training sessions but would chat with the caller--on MY money! After that, I was so relieved to find Muscle Mechanics! If you're looking for a personal trainer to guide you on the path to excellent health and physical fitness, this is the place to go. Helps maintain consistent exercise program. 10/8/2008

I have been a client of Muscle Mechanics for thirteen years, since shortly after it opened and they has made a significant change in my health. I have had a number of trainers during that period and all have been very competent. With a set time on three days per week for workout, I do all I can to make sure I am there. Great personal training experience 10/7/2008

The staff memebers at Muscle Mechanics are friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. This is not a regular gym as they only have personal training. However, these are not the same type of trainers you see at your gym. They know what they are doing and customize a program for you. If you don't see results from your sessions at Muscle Mechanics, it's only because you aren't really trying. If you need that little boost to get you to lift weights more often or with better form (or even learn how to do it properly in the first place), this is the place for you. And don't worry about your skill level as all types of people are clients. more
