I love the fact that this company is run by a family. They have kept our beast of a furnace running and do it for a very reasonable rate. They show you what they are doing and help you understand what is going on with your furnace in layman's terms. I feel that they run an honest business that takes pride in their work. 5 star rating from me. Judy more

I had a great experience with Mr. Nash Inc. They completed the job I hired them to do, arrived to my home as scheduled, and acted very professionally throughout the entire process. The technician that repaired my furnace was very helpful, and explained what he was doing throughout each step. I appreciate their high level of service and will use them again. more

Unsafe and unprofessional company to deal with 12/10/2010

1. Estimate given to us at the time of inspection was different than the invoice we got when the burners were replaced. The overall invoice total was lower but considerably - that was a hint to me as to how professional they are. 1. Andy (the tech that came in) forgot to turn on the fan on when he installed 2 burners. I called him back for something else before his van left so he came in and noticed that and fixed it. 2. When installing the burners he advised to turn the speed of the fan to the highest because I had HD filters. I said ok. Later it turned out it is very loud when fan is on highest speed. So I called MR nash 3 times over a course of 10 days so that he calls me back on this issue. I left a messages with a woman but never got a call back. 4th time i finally got him on the phone and he said he would come in when they are in my area (because I asked him for 45 dollars instead of 90 which they charge for a call). the said they would call when they are in Tigard. 2 weeks later I call and lady tells me that they can't do that that I would need to call later to speak with the owner about this. Changing fan speed is a 2 minute job (just reconnect the right wires). So very unprofessional both technically and planning-wise and customer service-wise. Briefly if you need safe and correct functioning of your furnace and do not want to speak to unprofessional staff and if you want to avoid stress I would not call this company. more

No one will return my calls! All i want is my refund for the repairs that were not performed. Marv had my family in the harms way, we had a gas like in the house after Marv sad the furnace is working properly. I would like to be refund immediately and i will never will call Mr. Nash for any repairs. If you want to throw your $ away go flash it down the toilet, because if you call Mr. Nash for furnace repair,that is exactly what you have done. I paid 2 times what should have been the cost for furnace repair. Should have been done right the first time that was my expectation. more

Horrible Customer Service - Who wrote the other reviews?! 12/21/2009

I never take the time to write reviews but just had to after this awful experience... My tenants called this company out to fix a furnace that wasn't working. Mr Nash fixed the problem however when they were done, failed to check the other gas appliances in the house - including the water heater - to make sure they were working after having to shut off gas to do repairs. Tenants left for a week long vacation day after and came home to no hot water in the middle of winter because Mr Nash didn't take the extra minute and a half to check that everything was working when they left. Unfortunately after having been off for a week in the freezing cold of winter, the PR valve on the water heater broke when turned back on again. When I asked them to come out an fix, all they came up with was, ""We have no way of knowing that was the situation. We didn't touch the water heater. We did not intentionally turn off the pilot light. It is not our fault."" They also alleged that the gas plumbing to the water heater was the problem and the problem must have been a co-incidence. Yeah right. A 5 minute convo with NW Natural verified what I had suspected... that the Mr Nash repair man had been lazy - they should have done a cursory check to ensure that all other gas appliances were working when they left. It would have taken just a couple of minutes. Instead of taking even an ounce of responsibility for the problem they caused, they've responded with everything but that for their oversight... I even offered to pay for the part if they would just go over and install it. They didn't care a bit and were completely uninterested in making the situation right . I don't know who wrote their other reviews but my suspicion is that they might have been done 'in house' because my experience with all I spoke to was so shocking. My advise is stay away from this company! Cons: horrible customer service, negligent and sloppy workmanship more

Great service - always helpful 12/10/2009

We've had our heat go out three times in the past couple years. One was on New Year's Eve when no one else was open. Mr. Nash offers overtime appointments and in minutes of coming out they've had our heat on and running. You pay time and a half, but it's well worth it in the middle of winter. Their technicians have always been extremely helpful and kind and the prices are very reasonable. Excellent service from beginning to end. Pros: Provide overtime services more
