We finally gave in and bought 200 gallons of fuel oil and fired up our furnace here in our 1940s rental home….Nothing.\r We hadn’t used the ole beast since last spring. Soon Mr. Nash appeared and took a look. As is typical in old rental homes, the heating system was somewhat, patchwork. But the Mr. Nash guy didn’t seem fazed. He checked the exotic system, stepped out to his truck and returned with a small part. I don’t know the price since our landlord paid the bill. Bottom line, the Mr. Nash heating expert knew his stuff. He quickly and simply repaired a furnace from olden times. Response time was about one day after called in busy November. Time to repair was less than one hour. My wife and I appreciate that he was friendly and upbeat while working in our home.\r Not bad.\r As of now, our face has continued to work with no problems for 2 ears. Thank you Mr. Nash! \r more

I own a contracting business so I have a pretty high expectation of repair people and I am a hard judge of service companies. I hired Mr. Nash to fix my oil furnace after it stopped working on a weekend. I looked over his shoulder and asked questions the entire time.\r \r Mr. Nash himself arrived and correctly assessed the problem as a blocked check valve in the underground tank – I was amazed at the diagnosis. The solution was looking pretty grim – excavating to the tank and attempting a repair or replacing the tank. \r \r However, Mr. Nash had a clever idea about how to reverse pressure the oil line and, hopefully, knock the obstructions back into the tank. And it worked! \r \r It was a brilliant deduction and clever idea to save me a lot of headache and money. As I write this review the furnace has been humming along for several week and my house is warm and cozy. Thank you Mr. Nash! \r more

I've called Mr. Nash on a few occasions over the years and I've always been a happy customer. They have been honest and reliable and I never feel like they are taking advantage of me. Recently I was getting a terrible noise coming from my furnace and instead of some huge expensive fix they told me it only needed a $5 part! I would have paid much more of they said it was necessary. They didn't even attempt to take advantage by even suggesting a more expensive solution because it simply wasn't necessary. That kind of service plus their excellent work ethic makes me a life time customer! more

Excellent service. Professional and experienced for both oil and gas. 9/4/2012

I am a property manager, and I use Mr. Nash for general maintenance and repairs for all of the gas and oil furnaces for my tenants. They do a great job. They are really responsive, very experienced, and they make my work-life a lot easier. I know I can depend on them, and I have referred many clients to them. I anticipate them being on my vendor list for as long as I am in business. I manage 70 units and can call Mr. Nash in summer, winter, and all year long. In fact, I have to call them today. I had a unit that was out of service for a few years and gave Mr. Nash a call to see what it would be to get the thing going. I was ready for them to tell me I needed a new air conditioner but it was just freon and a fuse. That was way cheaper. Thanks Mr. Nash more

Highly Recommended 8/15/2011

I live in an older house in Portland and so it was no surprise to me when my AC unit stopped working. I called Mr. Nash and hired them to install a new unit because my Uncle had just used their services a few months ago and recommended I call them. I was a little weary because I would normally shop around in a situation like this but he assured me that I would get to work with great, honest people. He was right, they worked around my schedule to come and install the new unit when I could be home to supervise. They also proved to really know what they were doing, and went above and beyond to help me with the disposal of my old unit. more

MR Nash put in some new ducting in my attic. There is a lot more air flow into the house. Some of the old ducts they showed me had large gaps where air leaked into the attic. My energy bill is a little less now. Mr Nash is very experienced and it shows in their work. more
