This was most horrible cleaning experience ever! A maid was sent to my house wearing sweat pants, a dingy white t-shirt, and a toboggan hat. She showed up with a contract that committed me to 5 cleanings before she began cleaning. After my wife and I complained to the owner (Todd) about the lack of cleaning that was done he became very rude and offensive and even hung up on my wife. I called him back to tell him never step foot on my property again and his response was “I’ll see you in court”. Locking customers into a one way contract and them taking them to court when they complain must be the norm for his business. After going to court we are out of $400 and had only one cleaning done.\r \r Stay the hell away from this business. \r \r more

This is the WORST service. My house was never completely cleaned. The maids are far from cleaning professionals. The office manager (owner) is rude and unprofessional. His focus is more on locking customers into a contract than it is to providing service. more

Fabulously Clean Home!!! 11/8/2010

I am a new customer of Mid-Atlantic and the one word that comes to mind to describe my experience is FABULOUS. I was a little hesitant at first to have someone I don't know in my house, but they have been very professional from the beginning and we are impressed. My husband and I work full-time and have two small children leaving little to no time for cleaning. I expected to come home to a clean downstairs...what I really came home to was an exceptionally cleaned entire house that sparkles and smells GREAT!! I'm so happy to not have to worry about when I can squeeze in time to clean, instead I can spend it with my babies! Thank you! JDavie more

Happy Long Time Client 3/1/2010

I have been using Mid-Atlantic Maid Service for the past 6 years and will continue to do so as I have been extremely happy with their service. I work full time and the last thing I want to do on my weekends is clean my house so it is wonderful to know they have that covered for me. I am very pleased with the job they do for me and Todd is very accomodating with rescheduling when necessary. I have met several of the girls over the years and they all are very professional and curteous. I trust Todd and his crew with my home and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a cleaning service. more

Great Service My Way 2/27/2010

I have been a customer since 1990 and have always had exceptional service form Mid Atlantic Maids. I love the idea that I can make my own cleaning list each week, and get the areas cleaned that I want. This type of service I have not found or even heard of before. What a unique idea, having service my way??not some else way. Our house is quite large, and it is just my wife and myself so cleaning of specific areas each week is a huge saving to us. Mid Atlantic is a very customer satisfaction orientated service. Thank you Mid Atlantic Maids! Pros: I have it My Way more

Excellent Reliable Service for Many Years 2/25/2010

I have used Mid-Atlantic Maid Service since 1994, and they have been thorough and dependable. I have recommended them to many of my friends. Todd and his staff are personable, and scheduling has always been flexible. I like to continue relationships with excellent service providers like Mid-Atlantic. I have been using Mid-Atlantic Maids since Aug. 2008 and have been very pleased the their work ethics. They have no problem doing things that are not in the normal routine. If I need extra time, there has never a problem obtaining it. Todd is easy to get along with and is very accomodating. Pros: The quality of service exceptional Cons: There are none. more

Workers have provided reliable performance even in our absence and have used their time efficiently. Rates are comparable to other local services and have remained unchanged for seven years. Great Price 2/19/2010

We have been weekly customers since 2003 and they maintained quality service while not raising their price, which is difficult in this economy. Todd has been great to work with and if something is not done right, one call to him and he makes sure it is fixed. It is a joy to come home from work to a clean house and I thank all his staff for a job well done. more

We have been customers of MidAtlantic Maid since July 2003 receiving their service on the same day every two weeks. We don't know exactly when they are coming on that day, but a quick call to Todd gets a very accurate arrival time (within an hour). Pros: Dependable, No price inflation Cons: Timing of service more

GREAT SERVICE! WILL USE FOREVER!! 10/30/2009

I've been extremely happy with the service I've received from Todd and his crew of ladies once a month for several years now. We've had the same 2 ladies coming to our house for several months now. They know the house and what we prefer. I often leave a note, just in case someone different comes out to the house. Todd is extremely flexible. On one or two occasions I needed to change days for a particular month and he was more than willing to work with me to still get to my house in the assigned week. I would go nuts trying to keep the house clean without their help! I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for dependable, friendly service. Worst Experience I ever had with a service! 10/12/2009

Owner is rude and has no business sense. All he does is make excuses why its not his fault. This is the worst service I have ever used. I wish I had seen these reviews first. They are expensive and the cleaning we received was terrible. I tried to get the owner to come out and see the poor work. He kept making excuses and then when he did say he would come out, he said he would do it, but it wasn't going to result in him doing anything to correct my issues. Pros: None at all. This place is a joke. They give you this great song and dance to get your business but when it comes time to do the work, they leave off half of what they promised. You may as well just run a vacuum and call it done. When I called the owner, I think Todd was his name, he became belligerent and rude when I expected them to come back and finish cleaning. He is very threatening and tosses out the words lawyer and court a lot. I will not let them back in my home to finish the contract when they can't redo the first cleaning. they think just because they have you in a contract they can be rude to you. Will not use once contract is over - will not reccomend to anyone - and I find it funny that you say you have all these satisfied customers - where are they on here leaving positives. I see more negatives than positives and wish I'd read this before signing up. I didn't realize I'd be signing a contract until the lady was there and had already started and at that point I felt I had to b/c I needed it cleaned for a special occasion. Owner/manager is NOT willing to work things out. Pros: cheap Cons: rude customer service, not willing to work with you, thows contract in your face more
