Order never arrived. Apparently they won't take GrubHub orders anymore, and didn't tell anyone until GrubHub called. GrubHub took blame for this, I waited over an hour for an order that never came. A BIG waste of time on a hungry stomach. more

Bogus Groupon Offer 3/8/2011

Not worth the groupon offer.\r After reading a couple of previous reviews, it looks like I made the same mistake. \r The wine pour was laughable.. really guy behind the bar with attitude? you're going to pour me 10ml of wine and call it a day. Really?\r Long story short, we got through five courses if wine with food... and when I say food I mean literally two bites per plate. \r Then we went someplace called Alchemy around the corner to have an actual (full) glass of wine without the attitude. \r Well done Melt, if it hadnt been for you, I wouldn't have found Alchemy which is a cool little bar. more

Bogus Groupon Offer 3/7/2011

Not worth the groupon offer. After reading a couple of previous reviews, it looks like I made the same mistake. The wine pour was laughable.. really guy behind the bar with attitude? you're going to pour me 10ml of wine and call it a day. Really? Long story short, we got through five courses if wine with food... and when I say food I mean literally two bites per plate. Then we went someplace called Alchemy around the corner to have an actual (full) glass of wine without the attitude. Well done Melt, if it hadnt been for you, I wouldn't have found Alchemy which is a cool little bar. more

Good food if the portion could be lager 2/18/2011

If you have Groupon voucher, it is for five small appetizer dishes and five 10ml glasses of different wine. Food was generally good, but portions were tiny. We ordered another shrimp pasta and hand cut sweet potato fries. Both were flavorful and delicious. The waitress is a sweetheart. I would like this place better if the portion could be a bit larger. more

Best Wings, but non available!!! 9/22/2010

About 2 weeks ago, we were at the Bergen street party.\r Melt was one of the participatants. They had some real\r amazing chicken wings. The sauce was really delicious. It was spicy, sweet, and sour, kind of like a Thai sauce. The best wings we ever had and I crave for\r it. I' ve tried to place a few orders for my house party and was told its no longer available. How could you guys have the wings two weeks ago and not\r have it anymore? This place is a joke! What a big disappointment you guys are. more

swell melt 7/20/2010

We ordered a lobster & pasta dish and lobster roll. Quite delicious. We also had a nice waiter, but he was being trained during our service. It was a little uncomfortable having the head waitress show up to watch (maybe they could do that a little more inconspicuously, and when I'm not paying for the meal?). I like the menu, simple yet deft mix of ingredients, fair prices. more

Very, very disappointed at this restaurant.\r Yesterday was the second time we ordered food from the delivery menu and it was the second time they told us they are out of fried\r chicken. We were going to settle for a couple of\r bugers, but they were out of burgers too. We are not as lucky playing the lottery. We hit the \r Jackpot with this one. Why even have the items \r on the menu if you do not wish to sell it ? The is doing a dis service t o your customers, especially a customer who is giving you a second chance to make it right. Great brunch 4/16/2010

Great North Slope spot for brunch. Smallish portions but filling. The prix fixe menu is definitely a deal, though, with $12 for entree, coffee/tea and mimosa/bloody Mary. Service was competent but not intrusive. We will be back. more

Get it together! 4/4/2010

Me and my husband recently went here for a late Friday night dinner. First we ordered the oysters - which came without cocktail sauce or lemon, actually they gave us an empty cup whish apprently we were supposed to get some kind of vinegrette...we had to ask for hot sauce and the waitress acted like she didn't know you are supposed to have these items with oysters. Plus when she took our dinner order she never asked me what I wanted and when I called her back to order my main dish, again she acted like she didn't think I wanted a main dish....weird. My salmon was dry and came with nothing. Drinks were weak and very pricy. Basically walked out of there after spending $100 - still hunrgy and not even a buzz! more

There were about a total\r of only seven entrees listed. What happened??? I was \r here last year and there were many more selections and choices. The best lamb in Park Slope 11/26/2009

The four of us went to Melt the other Friday and we really\r enjoyed the delicious food. Our compliments to the chef\r for preparing such a memorable meal. The server suggested I try the lamb shank. She said that you can not go wrong, and that it is absolutely delicious. She is\r right on point with this. When the lamb came out , the\r aroma was so tempting and pleasing. The lamb meat\r just kind of slides off its bone went you poke it with the \r fork. My palette was amazed by the sauce. It was very, \r very good. Is the chef willing to share his recipe?
