Meadowbrook

I have live at Meadowbrook for several years and it has gone through several property managers. In the last 6 months or so the place has really gone down. Kids running the streets, smoking and walking around with 40 ounce beers not to mention disrespectful to others property. This used to be a decent place to live - I can't wait until my lease is up to get out of here. If the management is more concerned with leasing mobile homes to felons and crack heads then they get what they deserve. I would not recommend this place to anyone but if you are interested make sure you have an alarm system and get ready to deal with RUDE people!!!! more

Meadowbrook is a lovely community as far as the streets and the lovely trees when first entering the community's entrance. It is kept up half decent recently. There is rash a lot of the time around the mailbox area near the office from inconsiderate tenants dropping their mail etc and not picking it up.. The past grounds keeper kept that area pressure washed and cleaned up but the last 3 ground keepers just leave it there and tentants usually clean it up an that is the ones who are nice enough to do so.As far as outward appearance of this place it is nice. Not as nice as it was years past . It is starting to run down slowly. The worst part of this community is some of the people who live here. This place is turning into a drug community slowly as the younger adults and out of control teenagers are bringing the drugs,violence and crime into this community. I stay inside my home and keep my doors locked.The younger adults who gnag up togthr in the community are making this a very unplesant place to live.I ccan see this place running down mre and more and turning more and more into a very unsafe to live. I do not find this a place to recommend to anyone. Keep looking becuse the management do not listen. They all have their favorites and the tenants suggestions and fears are just bluffed off.Do not move here. Do not let the outward appearance fool you because some of the people here will cause you to regret considering this your home. The manager has out of state tags and has since he started working here and now living here as manager(two year + and that says it is possible he has something to hide.Please be war if you considr living and moing into this community. more

I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you like having drug addicts who work at the pool in the summer.If you like living in a community that has a gang of guys and gals who are disrespectful to the adult tentants and who will hold you at gun point and take your money and car. Do you like livingina community who has a history of breakins? and o you prefer living in a community where adults tentants disrespect oneanothr and argue regularly? Do you enjoy listening to young children curse and do you enjoy an unconcerned management staff? If so,then this is the idea place for you to live! If not, keep looking because all you will find at this meadowbrook community is disppointment and noone will care about your concern.The management only pretends to listen to your concerns. Be ware! If you decide not believe my reviews and move here anyways.This used to be a nice place to live but through the last few years, it is nota place to be recommended unless you likethe kind of neighbors I have described. Not everyone at meadowbrook is bad people but there are disrespectful people there that wil make your stay a nightmare! more

I've lived here for a few years. I think Jim could use some bed-side manner training...but he's not too bad most of the time. Malayne is always polite and has what I need. I hate that some of the rules are so strict. But I love that they are because it keeps the community from turning into a trailer park! The layout is nice and the pool and park are always clean (except when vandals find too much free time in the summer). I guess my biggest gripe would have to be with the other residents. They just dont know how to either mind their own business or just speak and be neighborly (unless they need something). But in any case, I enjoy my quiet time at home. The community is tucked away but close enough to where I need to go. Pros: location, amenities Cons: nosey neighbors more

The management tried selling me a house that was falling apart. They didnt tell me about the flaws til someone who used to live there told me about them. They did fix them. There was midldew or mold in the bedroom closet and there was a slight mildewy smell to parts of the house where the mildew wasw spotted. I backed out of the closing and the management was fusrious and would not speak again...I went to tell them I was looking for a place and asked for a month to month if I didnt find a place in 30 days..they told me my house was already spoken for...why did they do this when I hadnt even told them if I am moving or not ?I think the guy JIm is rude and he throws all the dirty work at the lady receptionist...She wasnt none too nice yesterday....They want too high of payments for me to take this place...is why I have to move...\r \r \r \r more
