Last week I decided to go car shopping, I was in the market for a commuter car. First I stopped by some used car dealerships up the road, lets just say the second I would pull in there lot the sales guys were like moths to a flame. After being pushed to cars I did not want, sales tactics that were close to mafia, I wanted to see what a new car dealer could offer. My wife and I went down the road to Mazda of Gladstone, bob was the first one to greet us, very nice guy. I asked to see used cars, he took us there, we talked about miles on cars and warranty. We then decided to look at new ones. Bob lined us out with a nice Mazda 3 hatch back. It wasn't the most expensive, it was right in our price range. At the end of the day, I drove home a brand new car, could not be happier, if anyone has any questions about Mazda of Gladstone, I can personally say they are a class act, when I need another car that will be my first stop! I was very disappointed after talking to Kat back and forth over the phone and email that when I got to Gladstone Mazda for our appointment she was busy and put us with another sales person who was not very knowledgeable and lacked personality. We were going to Gladstone Mazda because of the relationship built with Kat. The sales person we were put with knew nothing about what Kat and I had discussed. It was frustrating because we had an appointment to go to another dealership and I canceled because I felt like Kat had given us such great customer service answering my calls and emails. I just think when you have an appointment with a customer you should be available for that appointment. Our sales person was awful... really the only reason we bought our Mazda cx-5 from Gladstone was because of the guy who came and talked to us about pricing (something with a J... Jeremy? Justin?) Our sales guy was silent during the test drive and sitting at the table in the lobby he just stared at us. In sales you need to connect with the customer and sale the product. the other guy was great he immediately started up a conversation with us and acted like he cared about what we were saying. more

They make each auto service quick and easy! They do not push you into services you do not need, but inform you on one you do need. Everyone that works there is super friendly. more

Went in for my first 5k service on a new speed3 that I bought in July. No issues and the staff was friendly and informative. They found a nail in one of my tires and patched it up for free. Only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars was that it took an hour and a half. I have had the exact same service done on my old Mazda Protege elsewhere and it took half that time. more

I worked with David, the service manager that day. he was friendly & took the time to explain information in details I could understand. also, although we scheduled my oil change & tire rotation for a one hr appt on a Sat afternoon, my car / appt was done in about 45mn, incl the extra talk time to review the work & my questions. I'll be returning for further service work. Pricing was very fair too. more
