My husband and I have bought 3 cars from Castrucci's and will NEVER EVER purchase another one from them. Our initial purchase of a 2005 Mazda tribute went quite well. The salesperson wasn't smarmy and we got a good deal so when it came to be that we needed another car, we went back them. My next purchase was a 2000 VW Beetle. The salesman was the typical double talking salesman. However, the car was cheap so I was able to look past the smarminess. \r
Our final car that we bought from them was a 2008 Mazda tribute only because it is the only Mazda dealer in the area and having just been in a car accident at 8 1/2 months pregnant, I wanted something I felt safe in. \r
We have been taken for a ride since then. Their service department couldn't tell us what was wrong with the 2005 went it suddenly start to sound like it was coming lose from its frame but still charged us $100 to hook it up to their machines. They overcharged us to much on the 2008 that we will never be able to catch up with the resale / trade in price unless we suddenly come into some money. \r
We sold our 2005 recently and went in to cancel the gap coverage and extended warrenty coverage. As we weren't able to work the finance manager we usually work with, Sean Levi, who by the way, has been the ONLY help person at Castrucci, we were stuck with some guy that was more worried about getting us out of there quickly than actually completing the paperwork correctly. I specifically asked him if both our signatures were needed on the paperwork as the car was in both our names, and we were told no. 3 weeks later I received a call from one of their administrators asking me to come in and sign the paperwork as it would not be processed without me signature. When asked why we are just now receiving a phone call, I was told she just doesn't have the time to worry about these things. NICE.\r
If you want to be parted with your money and not have any follow up, this is your place. Otherwise, go elsewhere.
Pros: Large selection, Sean Levi in finance is professional and courteous
Cons: Service department employees are lazy, will not negotiate with you past the inital offer
