Love Marc Daniel Salon! I have been going there for years to see Angie for color. Angie is the best. She always knows exactly what I want and has the best color ideas with the latest look!! I have been going to Marc Daniel Salon for years now. When I switched from my last stylist, I was very nervous. Thank goodness I switched. I have had nothing but great hair cuts and colors since. Courtney knows hair and always gives me an amazing cut. She knows what I'm saying I want even when I'm not sure. Angie is who I see for highlights. I had never had so many compliments on my color before going to her. People in the industry ask me where I get my hair done and I am happy to say Marc Daniel. more

Both Josh and Sunni are excellent stylists at this salon! I highly recommend both of them, and Sunni also does wonderful pedicures!!! more

I really wanted to try out bangs for a brand new look, so it was really important for me to get the look I was looking for. I went to the Marc Daniels Salon and saw Erika. She did a fabulous job! She really took the time to understand the look I was going for. She even allowed me to send her a few photos fo celebs that had look I wanted to her email!!! I love my new bangs, they aren't too short and work well with my face shape (round). I couldn't be more happy with her work and work ethic. Erika also recommended niche k-smooth deep conditioner, It was a little pricey, but after I tried it I will definitely be going back to get another one! I can really tell the difference in my hair which is dry and very coarse. more

European Hair - ROCKIN! 1/7/2012

I just received the most incredible reinvention at MarcDaniel Salon. I have been looking for something to change up my look and bring a little edge to my style. I totally received that from MarcDaniel! Some of the staff recently traveled to Europe to find the greatest and latest trends and bring them back to the states. I now have an amazing new look with just the edge that I was looking for - thanks to MarcDaniel Salon. I can honestly say that you won't see my style anywhere else in the Twin Cities and I feel like I have my own look...ready to go out and show it off!!!!! more

Not a good experience 11/21/2011

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I wanted no more than a 'trim', told my stylist that I have need length to get the appearance of volume -- so only take a 1/2 inch. I was shocked and saddened to see at least 2 inches gone. She seemed to be paying attention during the consultation; perhaps she thought I didn't really mean it -- or that she knew better. Disappointed and frustrated; wish I hadn't gone in. The ambience is great, but the remorse is greater. Hope you all fare better. more

Cheated on my stylist... VERY VERY HAPPY!!! 11/20/2011

This was the best haircut I've ever had! I came here because I printed a $25 coupon from their website. I had lost a bet and my friend got to cut my hair. It was aweful (but hilarious)! Megan was my stylist, she was super cute, ery friendly and you could tell by her consultation she was very very good. I said I wanted something a little funky and piecy and she gave me the best haircut, and took a lot of time to make sure it was just perfect for my face and style. You know how sometimes you go to a place and you hate how they style you hair and its obvious they havent had any training since 1998? I had an awesome experience, the salon is BEAUTIFUL, they have a really great rewards program and remember... Megan is great!! more

No regrets! 4/12/2011

My visit to Marc Daniel changed my life! I have very thick, fuzzy, and crappy hair. Josh gave me a Brazilian Blowout and a haircut today and I feel like a new person! Extremely pleased, and that comes from an ex-hairdesser. Salon was clean and beautiful, desk staff was professional and helpful. I can't wait to go back for other services! more

Brazilian Blowout 11/14/2010

MarcDaniel is a fabulous salon. I have been getting my hair cut and colored there for many years but most recently got a Brazilian Blowout. I highly recommend it. My hair is straight and completely frizz free. I don't have to use a flat iron or round bush any longer. It takes half the time to get ready. I absolutely love it. Worth every penny! more

Great customer service and wonderful staff! 8/23/2010

I have been going to Marc Daniel for about 6 months now after having the same person do my hair for 10 years. I am very impressed with how wonderful the staff is and how well they do their jobs. I was a little nervous about going to a new salon and all my worries were for nothing. Although it is difficult to express to a new person what you want, the staff is very accomodating and if you're not satisfied, they will do absolutely anything to make it right with smiles and sincerity. Thank you to my stylist Courtney and my colorist Angie for making my switch so easy. You are the best! I recommend Marc Daniel to all of my friends and will continue to do so. more

Very disappointed; Poor customer experience 8/6/2010

I arrived for a much-anticipated pedicure this morning only to learn the technician was ill. The young woman at the desk said she was sorry then looked at me blankly, waiting for me to leave. It was quite awkward and very rude! I was surprised she did not ask to reschedule my appointment or even offer something for the inconvenience. I had a paid sitter at home so I could do this one little thing for myself before a special weekend, so needless to say I was very disappointed. Despite how lovely the salon is, I WILL NOT GO BACK TO MARCDANIELS! more

Impressive! 2/22/2010

I am just letting everyone know how impressed I was with this salon and my Color technician Rachel was phenomenal! She was so interested to listen to what I had to say about my hair color and how I wanted it to look. Coming from a salon that I was going to for 6 years I was extremely nervous to make a switch (why the switch, I felt my previous hair stylist was not that into what I wanted and how my hair looked anymore). The switch was well worth it and I LOVE what Rachel did with my hair color. Pros: Friendly, clean, nice! more

Great Signature Look!!! 1/8/2010

I wanted to completely change my look and went to Marc Daniel Salon for hair extensions. Courtney spent the time with me to understand the look I was trying to achieve and she was great! The extensions looked and felt so natural and everyone was amazed at the difference. Ultimately when I had Courtney take them out, I had her ""use her artistic talent"" to cut my hair the way she thought would look good. It was the best haircut I have ever received! Very fun and sassy--I also had my hair colored that day and received so many compliments!!! Pros: Versatile stylists and color techs. more

New Look - Love It!!!!! 12/29/2009

I have been to the salon several times in the past and always wanted the same cut and color. This time I wanted to start 2010 out with a whole new look. I saw my regular stylist and color person, but this time I gave them free reign on creating a whole new look. I walked away happier than ever! The color was amazing - they are so familiar with new techniques in applying color, it turned out awesome! I was hesitating to cut too much off, but the stylist recommended cutting more to fit my face shape and even cutting in bangs - I must say that I look much younger...YEAH to the great staff at MarcDaniel!!!! I can't wait to go back to work and show off my new looks!!! Pros: Recommendations more

Loved it! 12/15/2009

I saw a couple of the newer gals for services- Nikki for my color and Jessica for my hair cut- and I thought they were fantastic! It turned out as I imagined and you could not ask for a more welcoming place. They really make the salon experience worth it, thanks and I will be returning to you ladies!!! Pros: great atmosphere, very welcoming, and friendly people. Cons: ..none that I can think of! more

Great in the past - not so much these days 10/1/2009

After going to Marc Daniels for several years I've had it! I think I'm most disappointed because the first few cuts and colors at Marc Daniels were phenomenal, but lately they just haven't been up to par. I always see the same girls for color and cut, the last two times I've been in the color has been really messed up (even so bad that I had to go back and have it fixed the last time) I also decided to change it up and go for bangs, which was not a good choice as they turned out totally crooked! Had to wear the bangs pulled back in a clip until they grew out so it was less noticeable. These are not things I expect to get for the price tag. :-( Please bring back the quality from the past - don't rush your clients through the processes, rather take time to make each cut and color the best it can be and hopefully others won't have experiences like mine. Huge Ego 4/22/2009

Im new to the western suburbs and was looking for a new place for my hair. This is not the place! Never have I ever had such a bad cut! When I called a girl answered who took WAY to long to make an appointment. When i got there the girl who greeted me who i think was the same one who booked me...Deneal(?) was holding a cup of coffee and had a bag of cereal next to her AT the front desk! Checked in and waited about twenty min when the stylist finally came to me. I sat down in Dans chair and right away noticed his wrinkled pants! Not ok for the owner. Went threw the consultation and got a very quick shampoo then the cut. Somehow after asking for an inch cut off 3 inches extra were on the floor. My hair does not grow fast either. I also got some bangs after asking for just some layering around the face. I would think if you own a salon you would know how to listen to your customers. I think im going back to the cities for my hair. The extra half hour will be worth it! Pros: ok parking Cons: To full of themself more
