I was referred to Dr. Mandel because I was searching for a Doctor to do lasix eye surgery. The initial appointment was was informative and very helpful in making my decision to use Dr. Mandel. All my questions were answered and my anxiety addressed. The operation itself was performed with precision and explained during the short proceedure. I have never regretted my choice of doctor or having the lasix. It has been four years now and my vision is perfect, better than with contacts or glasses! I would highly recommend Mandel vision without any hesitation. more

Mandel Vision and Dr.Mandel have made LASIK eye surgery which I was originally intimidated by a truly wonderful experience. Dr. Mandel and his team were extremely professional and sweet and put me at complete ease. I could not recommend the Mandel Vision Center and Dr. Mandel any more highly. more

From the moment I started my evaluation at Dr. Mandel's office I felt a sense of care and attention that was missing from the other specialists I visited. From the front desk through to the surgery every person I was in contact with was patient, thoughtful, and encouraging. And informative not only did they explain every step of the process, they didn't move forward until all of my questions were answered. On the day of surgery Dr. Mandel and his staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, and if I had any lingering doubts they were erased when Dr. Mandel himself sat with me while I relaxed in a massage chair just before the procedure. And now my vision is perfect beyond perfect. I still can't believe it. I've been burdened by glasses and contacts for over twenty five years, but now thanks to Mandel Vision I am free to see clearly. more

Great Lasik Eye Surgeon 9/19/2011

Before this surgery I was having a lot of issue with my contact lenses, vision and remembering not to forget my glasses all the time. Mandel vision has given me my sight back. I will recommend anyone look for a lasik eye surgeons New York area to call Mandel Vision more

Fifth time coming to Dr. Mandel's office. All of the visits have been a wonderful experience, pre and post LASIK. Vision is still 20/10, staff is always friendly, fun, and entertaining, and the service and results are top notch. Patient for life. more

I had PRK surgery at Mandel vision. I was extremely nervous as I am in the medical field and my vision was terrible. After doing much researchbi found Mandel vision and dr. Mandal has changed my life. My recovery was very difficult but dr. Mandel was there every step of the way. He assured me constantly and even came in on his day off to see me. My vision at three months postoperative is 20/15 in the left and 20/20 in the right. I recommend dr.Mandel! He is a great doctor and an amazing person! more

Dr. Mandel has given me a new life as a Police Officer that doesn't have to wear glasses and deal with them fogging up or being knocked off my face. My shooting has improved and my driving is better than ever. The city is safer because of my P.R.K. surgery. more

I had LASIK with Dr. Mandel 4 years ago and couldn't be more pleased with the results. My vision hasn't changed in 4 years, and I've had no complications. Dr. Mandel and his staff are incredibly professional and personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking about having LASIK. more

Amazing results... 8/31/2011

I've been using Mandel vision for many years and I've been extremely pleased with the results and the service by the doctors and staff. The pre op and follow up care was thorough and readily available. I had PRK by Dr. Mandel with great results and I had another surgery 9 years ago with Dr. Odrich for a pterygium on my eye and I had great results. I was finally able to wear contacts after wearing glasses for 15 years. Now I don't have to wear contacts and it's really helped my active lifestyle with skiing and triathlons. more

I had PRK a little over a year ago and it was the best decision i have ever made. Having my vision corrected was something i always wanted to have done but i was hesitant to have it done until i met dr. Mandel. He is extremely friendly and made me feel. Comfortable with the procedure through his detailed explanations to my questions. Throughout the process , his bed mannerisms were top notch. I highly recommend using dr. Mandel for vision correction. He is excellent and because of him, i see 20/10. more

Dr. Mandel and his staff did a great job with the entire PRK experience from the actual procedure to the post op checkups. Everything felt very safe and controlled. I highly recommend Mandelvision for laser eye surgery. My vision went from very poor to better than 2020, and there were few days with discomfort following the procedure. more

Dr. Mandel is a rare gem! I've been considering LASIK for several years but have been postponing for one thing or another, nerves mainly. After meeting Dr Mandel, he put all those worries to rest. He is the kindest, most considerate, and of course knowledgeable doctorsone of the best! The hardest part was wearing my glasses 2 weeks prior to the surgery. I highly recommend Dr Mandel! more
