I cannot recommend Dr. Mandel and his staff highly enough. Their high level of professionalism, expertise, and experience are obvious and make the entire experience very comfortable and stress free. After a very thorough evaluation process, Dr. Mandel explained in very clear detail what my options were, his recommendations, and all the pros and cons. I decided to have the PRK procedure and Dr. Mandel walked me through it every step of the way (which was much quicker than you would expect). He was spot on with detailing how my healing process would proceed and everything went according to plan. I could not be happier with the results. In fact, my wife decided to have Dr. Mandel correct her vision after seeing my results! Thank you for giving me and my wife perfect eyesight. Mandel and his staff from the very start were friendly and professional. I did not feel like it was an Lasik factory. Mandel carefully evaluated me to make sure I was a good candidate for surgery. During surgery, I was informed of every step he was about to do so that I would be at ease. Within minutes, the surgery was completed. I just had the LASIK procedure done 2 days ago by Dr. Mandel and am thrilled to report that I now have 20/20 vision and zero discomfort in my eyes. WOW! After 20 years of wearing contacts and glasses I have perfect vision again and it feels wonderful. I've been thinking about doing LASIK for years and right now my only regret is not doing this sooner. Dr. Mandel is the consummate professional while also being very patient and gentle throughout the process. His staff of technicians and assistants are also outstanding; everyone I interacted with was both professional and kind. Having LASIK done was one of my biggest decisions of my life. Having bad vision for 15 years and wearing contacts for 10, it took me good 2 years to decide to have the surgery done. And let me tell you, it was the best thing I could of done for myself! Dr. Mandel made me feel so comfortable before and during surgery. The surgery went super quick with some minor discomfort, yet I was able to feel how gentle Dr. Mandel's hands were. I was able to see 50% better right after the procedure, I was amazed! By the next morning my vision was 20/20! The staff is amazing and very warm especially Nancy, she was the best. My only regret is that I waited so long! Choose doctors no more, Dr. Mandel is the only one, have a consultation and you will see by yourself. more

Dr. Mandel changed my life. I have always been quite blind. At one point, I made the mistake of buying dark glasses. If anyone moved them, I had to feel around various surfaces to try to figure out where they were. Finally, my husband convinced me to get lasik. That is when I found Dr. Mandel. He had the best reviews online, had won many awards, etc., but more than that, I knew two patients who had gotten lasik by Dr. Mandel some years ago and still had perfect vision. Going to Dr. Mandel's office was quite a different experience than any of the other offices I visited. His staff was prompt, courteous and very attentive. There was never a long wait and Dr. Mandel especially made you feel like he was going to really focus in giving you perfect vision - rather than treating you as a number. Over a year later, I am incredibly happy with my vision. I now have better than 20/20. Although Dr. Mandel is pricier than other doctors, for me getting the best for my eyes was the right choice. I would definitely recommend everyone who cares about their eyes and are scared about the whole experience to get lasik with Dr. Mandel. You won't regret it. more
