I really don't understand the bad reviews. I found Dr. Campbell to be very caring. She explained everything in advance and reviewed all my options. At no time did I feel rushed or that she was not interested. At the end of the visit she answered all my questions. I had a similar experience at my next visit. She really put me at ease and I would recommend her to anyone needing a good dermatologist. more

i have been using this office for a couple years, several appointments and I will not be going back. I had skin cancer, diagnosed and treated elsewhere, and after moving to the area, I was refered to them by my new general practice doctor. I have found that my experience with this office and doctor has not been satisfactory. I have experienced the same problems others have listed and then some. \r \r I have no axe to grind and this is the only review I have every writen on the internet, but when I saw the reviews listed for this doctor (i was looking up the phone number to cancel my appointment) going from 1 star to 5 stars I felt I needed to relay my experience. I wish all seeking treatment good luck with your condition and I hope your experience with this doctor and office is more positive then mine. more

The ""people"" this practice has answering their phones are extremely RUDE! After reading all of the poor reviews I've decided not to keep my appointment! The doctors at this practice should hear the way the front desk talks to their patients. They would be appalled! more

Dr. Campbell is awful. I came in with a small issue that has been a problem but I can control it, but want to know what else to do what the problem actually is. She yelled at me telling me I shouldn't be coming to doctors if I already know how to treat something and that she doesn't deal with things like this and to do x, y, z, all of which I had already done. She was completely disinterested in listening to what was going on and figured that if I could calm the symptoms, then I didn't need a doctor. Horrible experience. However, I know many people who have luck with Dr. Damiano, especially those who have had skin cancer, but not if you have other things. Dr. Zeif who used to be with the practice was wonderful, but he is no longer there (probably because he actually cared to listen to his patients). I was extremely disappointed by this practice. I had my first appointment today. My boyfriend referred me to this office. He's gone to see Dr. Damiano many times and has a good experience. Here are some overall points regarding my experience:\r \r STAFF:\r - I found that staff to be VERY friendly. They were friendly when I called to schedule the appointment and when I came to the office. I forgot my insurance card and they were very patient with me as I scrambled to get the information needed. \r \r TIMELINESS:\r - My appointment started on time. \r \r DOCTOR:\r - The doctor I met with was also very caring. He explained to me the issues and walked me through his procedures.\r \r If I had to think of any cons, the only unpleasant thing about the whole experience that I can come up with was the lady in the black Escalade tailgaiting as I was trying to find the office! (Does it really make sense to be going 50 mph as you're approaching a red light?!?) more

Receptionists are unfriendly. I waited 50 minutes in the waiting room before going to the patient room. I waited 20 minutes in the patient room before the physician arrived. He said very little; he performed a quick routine skin exam; he left the room; he returned a few minutes later and instructed me to lie down where he began to cut a small part of my skin from two areas of my body. He provided little explanation other than to say he was numbing the area. When he was done, he told me to wait for the nurse. The nurse placed band-aids over the two sites. I was not informed why nor where my samples would be sent for testing. I called 7 days later (they did not call me nor did they say they would call me) and my results were fine. I doubt I really needed to have samples taken and I suspect that Dermpath, the lab used, enjoys a great referral relationship with this physician. I would have asked more but the nurse seemed frustrated when I simply asked which lab they would use. Also, after the ridiculous wait time, I just wanted to get away from this physician and his receptionists. Classic bad doctor who leaves the impression of a ""profit-priority"" practice. Cons: Long Wait time; Very unfriendly atmosphere; No Significant Explanation to the Patient. more

Main Line Dermatology has perhaps the best dermatologists in the area. All of the staff is courteous and knowledgable. If you are seeing a dermatologist because you would like to prevent or treat skin cancer, this is the place to go. more

My daughter and I have been patients at Main Line Dermatology for a couple of years. I stumbled on this website when I googled them to look up the phone number. I was shocked to read the prior review and signed up as a member just so that I could reply. First of all, I think it's normal in this specialty to have to wait for an appointment, but I have found that if we need to be seen, we are seen. They fit us in. Also, I have not experienced long waits in the waiting room. We are usually taken fairly quickly. Maybe the prior reviewer had a different experience, but the one thing I cannot imagine being true is that everyone associated in any way with the office, from the doctors, to the office manager, to the entire office staff are all rude and uncaring. That just doesn't ring true on its own and it's certainly not my experience. I have found Dr. Damiano to be an astute physician and a kind and gentle man with my teenage daughter. It offends my sense of fairness to allow anyone to characterize him as uncaring when he is so sensitive to her feelings about her acne. I have found the office staff to be friendly and welcoming when I check in. I don't think I have had any reason to interact with the office manager. These reviews are only as good as the identity of the person who wrote them, so one has to wonder what other agendas are at play. Pros: Competence more

I found it unfortunate that the only review for Mainline Dermatology was one where the patient was so totally disatisfied. To make matters worse, the same review is displayed under the names of not one doctor, but two. I, on the other hand, have had very positive experiences with Mainline Dermatology. I have used Mainline Dermatology on two separate occasions and I have found them to be prompt, courteous, thorough and knowledgable. I have never had a problem getting a timely appointment and have even been able to get in within three days due to a cancellation. Perhaps the negative review was written during a time of employee turnover or other office confusion. Though inconvenient, these situations sometimes occur in the life of businesses, just as upheaval occurs in our own individual lives. I highly recommend using Mainline Dermatology. more

Office Manager - Loretta Kramer is horribly rude and ignorant to people. I had to wait three months for an appointment. One of their doctors has left the practice and the other is on maternity leave. They are sooooo disorganized and have the rudest office staff. They could care less about their patients. I went in for my appointment and they failed to notify me that they were behind schedule, as usual. I had to wait 2 hours. I needed to reschedule and was told I had to wait another two months. I asked for my medical records, was denied. No one seemed to care that I had waited 3 months for an appointment and now couldn't even be seen by a doctor. If you have a busy schedule, DON'T GO HERE. The doctor's are not worth the wait! Cons: They didn't event have enough seats for patients to sit down. more
