Receptionists are unfriendly. I waited 50 minutes in the waiting room before going to the patient room. I waited 20 minutes in the patient room before the physician arrived. He said very little; he performed a quick routine skin exam; he left the room; he returned a few minutes later and instructed me to lie down where he began to cut a small part of my skin from two areas of my body. He provided little explanation other than to say he was numbing the area. When he was done, he told me to wait for the nurse. The nurse placed band-aids over the two sites. I was not informed why nor where my samples would be sent for testing.
I called 7 days later (they did not call me nor did they say they would call me) and my results were fine. I doubt I really needed to have samples taken and I suspect that Dermpath, the lab used, enjoys a great referral relationship with this physician.
I would have asked more but the nurse seemed frustrated when I simply asked which lab they would use. Also, after the ridiculous wait time, I just wanted to get away from this physician and his receptionists.
Classic bad doctor who leaves the impression of a ""profit-priority"" practice.
Cons: Long Wait time; Very unfriendly atmosphere; No Significant Explanation to the Patient.
